A white American harassing, violently threatening, and racially profiling a Black International Student in a shared apartment, and when the Black International Student reports to the apartment's authorities / management, the apartment's authorities / management ignores the Black International Student.
On reporting to the Police, the Police Officers cautions the White American, and advice the Black International Student to immediately vacate the apartment because of the safety of the Black International Student's life.
Then the apartment's authorities / management starts tormenting the Black International Student with ridiculous bills simply because the Black International Student heed to the advice of the Police and ran for the safety of his life.
Please, what should the Black International Student do after reporting the case to the area's Housing organization that hears cases of harassments, threats, and racial profiling?
Please note:
The area's Housing organization is in support of the Black International Student, but the apartment's authorities / management reported the Black International Student for failing to pay the outrageous bills, and the apartment's authorities / management deny the harassments, threat to life, and racial profiling, saying they were jokes.

@@maneeshamukhihi, may I ask if it is possible for an Italian citizen to obtain political asylum in the USA for persecution by stalkers in his country? there are two Italian people in michgan, grand rapids, Mirko Zeppellini (fraudster recognized as mentally ill by the US court in 2016 with deportation decree) and Francesca Bugamelli, who are scamming many Italian people from the USA, there are official investigations underway for fraud process, and declare, with lots of documents shown on video, to have asylum in the USA for private persecutions. Zeppellini was also found to be in possession of false documents with several aliases. I would like to understand if it is possible to obtain protection as a political refugee in the USA as an Italian. Thank you.

I think I need a lawyer because since april 30 my wife's process was stopped because NVC requested my tax transcripts but before they requested the documents it was announced that the IRS is having delays and much more because they will be holding 29 million tax returns and will process those manually. And until now my tax returns has not yet been processed. Ive sent a copy of my tax return that I filed with the IRS on the same day I got the message from NVC requesting documents. Almost 1 month later they have not reviewed my submitted document and my wife's petition process is on hold and I dibt have a clue of when it will begin processing again. Im a US citizen born and raised in California so my wife's process would have priotity. So why do they not review my documents and continue the process

You need a VISA application to get the green card and employment authorisation document (EAD) so you can work legally. You don't get citizenship, you get permanent resident status. Later you can become a Naturalised Citizen. All of this happens through the USCIS. Contact at their website for your individual pathway. You should contact the US Embassy/Consulate where you live in whatever country that may be.

I actually don't know anyone that's used them so cannot comment on their services...but I do see some complaints against them on the Better Business Bureau site. Another service that I've heard good things about online is Boundless Immigration (but again I do not know anyone that's used them).

Should you look for a lawyer who is certified in immigration law?
There's no such thing as a certification in immigration law. Every lawyer goes to law school and gets a JD - after that they choose what they want to specialize in and build work experience around that. So you want to make sure that they have a law school degree (JD), are licensed to practice by the State Bar Association and ask them about their prior immigration experience. Most immigration attorneys practice immigration law exclusively and that's what you want.

My husband paid a lot of $ to an IL when he petitioned me and adjust my status. The IL just gave us the forms and he sent it through Fed Ex to file it. That's all he did for 2K IL fee.
