    I really love boat neck tips with blue and white stripes. My grandmother (who was a very stylish and chic lady) wore blue and white striped boat
    neck tops very often when she was young. I think it’s very lovely and timeless, and I think it looks great on you as well!

    I have a tummy too . . . on 'bloated' days I manage to look pregnant ;) I feel it is what it is, but also like to disguise it, so I feel that this would probably be perfect for me. I actually have the pattern but have never got round to making it. I think I will now after seeing how great it looks on you! I also LOVE your high/low hack, and agree, it does look cuter! TFS, glad you're back! xx

    I like your red & white striped print. You're right it is hypnotizing with it worn out but really cute with the front tucked in. I like the high/low look too.
    I have a tummy too so I really like your fashion style.

    They are all cute tops on you! I made one too out of a knit that the sleeves are just too tight...and it has some polyester in it as well. I can’t stand it on....it makes me just cook. Maybe in the Fall I’ll like it again. Drape is definitely the key for the Mandy!

    Great tutorial, Suzie. I was going to suggest adding a side slit but you beat me to it :-). With your modification it reminds me a bit of the toaster 2 sweater except I actually prefer the Mandy's neckline. I've had the pattern ages but never made it - however your versions will definitely make me take a second look. Thanks!

    This was great thanks. I’m still waiting to have my Mandy pattern printed out and I’ve always wondered about the difference between this and the Hemlock so I went back to your Hemlock videos and now I cam see! I’m going to try them both to see which I like better. And yes side slit tutorial would be great. It looks so good how you’ve done that and I think might make the half tuck styling a bit easier as well.

    Hi Suzie, I love all your tee's and you can't beat stripes with this top. It just seems right for the style somehow 👌. I have made one in pinstripe grey and white drapey jersey and I love mine but now I have seen your cropped at the front version... I want to try that now and I love the splits 👍. Those lovely blues and reds look amazing on you Suzie 😍😘

    Thanks for addressing that finishing bit on the neckline. I think you were talking directly to me as I’m probably the only person that couldn’t wrap their head around that.
    I would love a tutorial on the split seam. I just added my first one to the Frankie t-shirt and actually went to your chanel to see if you had already shown us how to do it. I looked at a rtw top that had that detail and now after seeing yours I think where I went wrong was concealing the raw edge without having modified the seam allowance.
    I also checked your site to see if you had any Frankie tees on it for inspiration and couldn’t find any. If you haven’t made that one yet, I urge you to consider it. We have VERY similar body shapes and taste in style and that t-shirt is now one of my very favorites. I think you would love it.

    I LOVE your striped fabrics and color choices as well. The top is darling on you. The side slits don’t turn out great at the top of the slit. I’d love to know how you tame that! Top stitching helps of course.

      So satisfying isn't it? Yes, they released a multi-size option at the end of last year because so many people asked them. When I made this video it was still only one size. Great that they added the extra sizes isn't it?

    They look great. As an absolute beginner, I'd love it if you could do a tutorial on the whole pattern if you could find the time. I take it this would be a good beginner pattern. PS: love the colour of your BuJo on your desk too. PS: should add that can this be sewn fully on a regular machine rather than an overlocker?

    Love it! It’s my personal favourite too, I have about 6 in my wardrobe 😱. I’m quite curvy in the middle and I think it looks really so stylish on. I love your strippy collection 😍😍😍

    Hi Suzanne, T shirt looks lovely on and easy enough for a novice like myself to run up. Question: Would there be a possibility of you doing a tutorial on how to make a pair of trousers? I can understand negative comments with regards to your "belly", can be off putting....but, hey we've all got a belly....kids and in my case the menopause.....I'll say no more....!!! Thanks again..Ros

    Loved your video, as always! Your style is so appealing. Just wondering... do you ever consider getting a coverstitch machine--with all the knits you sew? I'm mulling it over and cant decide if it's worth it🤔 I don't always have the best of luck with twin needles.

    I’m late catching up with your fab vlogs (summer hols) but I’d love the side split tutorial please!
    And do you think you can wear the pattern in the cooler months? Would you say it could rival the Linden sweatshirt? Thanks ever so!

    • @Threadquarters
      @Threadquarters  6 лет назад

      Working on the side slit tutorial, thanks! Personally I would prefer this pattern for warmer months because I think it suits very light drapey fabric. If it was made up in a sweatshirt or ponte, it would be too boxy for me.

  • @jude4381

    I have a question on the neckline. Instead of taking in the neckline by 1/2 inch after the shoulders and neck are finished, can you just sew the shoulder seam angling down to 1/2 inch at the neckline before you finish the neck hem? Or better yet, adjust the pattern before cutting out? Thank you for answering this, and have you done this on your other Mandy Tee's?

    I printed out the pattern and the 4" square came out at 33/4" square. Should I add some allowance to the pattern or print it out again.? It is so cute. thanks

    • @Threadquarters
      @Threadquarters  6 лет назад

      Hmm, if you think the top is likely to be quite oversized on you then I would just go ahead as is. The sleeves might need a tiny bit more width though as they are quite tight.
