They can finish it quick for the fans who have asked for it, then move on to the longer shows. First of all I would just like to say that at 3:39 it has to be veccna as how did the demigorgon lift the chain from the wrong side of the door with out powers that we then only saw again from vecna and 11 and also the mystery figure that we see at 3:15 is also him but they didn’t quite know what he would look like yet

Weird that Shane said the monster in the opening scene looked like Tyrant from Resident Evil with the long hand and it turns out that’s basically what Vecna looks like 3 seasons later

Good to go back and watch it again. If you listen closely you can hear the clock chime in this episode when Will sees the Demogorgon. Vecna has been around the whole time.

In 1983, I was Steve Harrington's age, so this show just rocks my world in so many good ways. Words can't describe it, so I'll leave it at that. Great analysis of what's going on. I wish I could go back in time and watch it all again for the first time. It was such an awesome feeling. Next best thing is watching you guys do it. Obviously I'm years late to the scene of your reviews, but I love the series so much, especially season 1, I just can't get enough of it.

People always say it feels like Spielberg and King, but Hopper’s investigation and all of that makes it feel like a Michael Crichton written Lovecraft story.
One of my favorite shows as far as production and directing goes. The artistry is REAL.

Fun fact: the actress who plays Will's Mom also played years ago in Dracula ( the one with Gary Oldman). But really great reaction guys! I only have watched episode 1 yet but I like the show and am excited to continue.

First video I've watched of you guys and I just laughed when they're explaining that the characters will all probably have D&D attributes and the guy in the middle just looks at the camera and his eyes widen just a bit with a smirk lol, that was great. i like you guys' analysis too! I have seen every episode at least 10 times and now I'm watching people's reaction videos to get more into the show and I like hearing everyone's theories about what is to come!
Oh, I'm glad you bought up the pace of this show at the end of your vid. That is something really appreciated with this series. The season is only 8 episodes. Each episode you learn vital new things but are still left with more questions than answers. I can't deal with shows that drag it out forever. I think the Duffer Brothers recipe for this was genius (the whole show is genius, but this is one of the outstanding things for sure).
no spoilers here. I gotta say the thing I loved about this show the most was that the plotline was seamless, there were no plot holes. (i could say a bit more but i don't wanna spoil anything for you guys.) enjoy the show, guys. i'm so glad you're doing this.

Wish I could agree, but there was a bit of lazy writing that got me triggered. I really can't stand it when writers have relatively intelligent characters do stupid and un-characteristic things just to create drama or suspense. In this case everything after the deer was just stupid.
Opinions I guess. I loved every second of this series.
Mavoc it's not about the actions. it's about the plotline. how things connected. how eleven was interwoven into will's story. the explanations that they gave, be it outright expositional or just visual, actually satisfied me, while the unanswered questions (like wtf is up with will) left me thirsting for more. i think they perfectly balanced it. you create a world and let your characters loose in it, but sometimes you don't have control over the stupid decisions they make. i mean come on 70% of the cast are minors. they're supposed to make stupid decisions, not consult adults and etc. for me Stranger Things is one of the most satisfying series out there, plot and character wise. but it's all the matter of opinion of course.

Yeah... there's no sharks with knifes in Stranger Things season 1 or season 2 but there is a Demogorgan and Demodogs(Demogorgan dogs) and also a shadow monster i cried half of the time watching Stranger Things especially with the things that happened to Will all the way through this and when they found "Wills body" i burst out in tears I knew it couldn't have been his body because Eleven said he was alive but I still cried plus when El saw the body she looked unsure and confused but also sad so it made me doubt the fact he was alive

Couldn't agree more. Haven't missed having cable for years because of how much Netflix is rocking. Did get HBO Now to watch Game of Thrones though.
And still having both of those is cheaper than any cable package. Only reason I have cable still is for AMC The Walking Dead.

Started watching this show about 2 weeks ago. Was bored with no new TV stuff, so I started it at about 10pm, the show had me and I could not stop watching it until I finished the whole thing in one stretch at about 7am the next morning. It was an outstanding series and though I would have loved more episode then 8, it was paced perfectly to avoid having to sit through a ton of filler like a normal tv series on networks.
