    Born in Netanya, Israel, Rabbi Yaron Reuven began his American Dream as a little boy, when his family immigrated to the United States. He went from a newspaper boy at the age of 10, to a well-known self-made Wall Street multimillionaire by the age of 23. During his time in Wall Street, he owned his own private brokerage firm, a hedge fund, and an international insurance agency. He was featured on CNBC, Bloomberg and Chinese NDTV due to his success in the financial industry.
    At age 26 he faced a 7-year battle for his life when a simple surgery went wrong. From that moment his life would never be the same. This moment marked the start of a series of miraculous events and an exciting pursuit of truth, ultimately resulting in Rabbi Reuven renouncing his lofty position and success in Wall Street, after 16 years, to become a full-time KIRUV rabbi. His Teshuva story is sure to catch the heart of every listener.
    Rabbi Reuven’s shiurim are in English and Hebrew. His classes are focused on spreading the truth and divinity of the Torah through MUSSAR, scientific proofs, and many other methods to reach each individual listener. Rabbi Reuven is the leading educator on the topic of wasting seed in the English language with over 30 hrs of content published online.
    Rabbi Yaron Reuven is a proud member of the Igud HaRabbonim (The Rabbinical Alliance of America), a national rabbinic organization founded in 1942. There a thing called "lucid dreams", which basically consists in being conscious of being in a dream (when you are sleeping). This can be trained (you can lookup videos and Ted talks on this topic). Maybe this is a way in coping with "wet dreams"? Meaning you would be aware of being in a dream and stop doing what you were doing in the dream and what was causing you to waste seed. Thank you so much Rav Reuven for your work may HaShem bless you.

    • @sharonsamuel5578
      @sharonsamuel5578 2 года назад +1

      Yes but in lucid dream you can control your dream and how you feel about the dream while your dreaming, up to some extent. But the background and theme and story in your dream is not in your control. It mainly depends upon ones subconscious and emotions one experienced in his past situations.
      Conclusion: what ever one do to control his lucid dream or state of lucid dream, it is not enough for him to stop sexual thought or satans wife to enter into you. Because if one doesnot guard his eyes or intentionally experience the sexual content in this day time, the subconscious is not in conscious minds control anymore. unknowingly that person wastes seed when he cant control that subconscious mind.

      @@DavidProvost777 Thank you for your insight. It seems I may have conquered this one already, time will tell. I would like to believe that if one has taken a new path in life, a path follows Hashem's ways (to the best of the person's knowledge and abilities), then maybe there's a possibility that He will forgive past errors and start with a mostly fresh slate.

    Shalom Aleichem Rabbi! I could strongly relate to this video and it's timing couldn't be more perfect. I struggle with the sin of nocturnal emission personally, yet I avoid anything sinful and always make sure to guard my eyes and control my thoughts. I say Shema and recite Tehillim before bed, but this sin still occurs. I have fasted and occupied myself with prayer a great deal to try and do teshuvah but it still occurs (especially on Shabbat out of all days!).
    I myself fear to sleep a great deal, and try to avoid it as much as possible. But tiredness overtakes me much of the time unfortunately. However I suffer from medical issues with my prostate also (I'm 22) since puberty, which can cause me to have an emission with no arousal or stimulation even during the day at times (the worst time has been during prayer!). This condition also causes a great deal of physical pain as well as emotional.
    I have tried everything to prevent this sin yet I feel powerless. I greatly worry that HaShem has punished me for some other sin perhaps and this is my fate. But on the other hand, I strongly doubt he would punish a sin with something sinful.
    At times I feel so depressed because of this and even distant from HaShem. I feel like I'm unable to serve him correctly and this takes all my drive and purpose away from me. Even to the point where I wish I was dead.
    Please help me Rabbi, what can I do to stop this and why does it keep happening? I just don't understand, am I evil? Is this punishment from Heaven? Perhaps it is for a sin from a previous gilgul? Please help me understand, because I am so confused regarding this.

    Am I allowed to tell people about this if I am an average person? I am trying to spread the awareness as people around me I am certain have this problem... I am fed up with the ignorance. The Rabbi said before that you cannot rebuke people from your own ego, so how can I know? I just want people to change just as I’m changing.

    Rabbi, how can a wife make a correction for angering her husband (I heard once that when a man gets angry he also wastes seed); should she do the Tikkun Haklali at dawn for 40 days?
