I remember when I lived in Pensacola, and Steve Hill was preaching at the Brownsville Revival. If Steve was unsure of something he said, he'd look at Dr Brown and say, is that right Mike, and Dr Brown would say that's right. Dr Brown really knew the word back then, and now, I get so much information from him that it isn't funny. I'm very grateful for him. Such a blessing.

I really like this! It is great to have someone flush out the current prophesies. 1 John 4:1 says, "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world".

Let me summarize this for you: This video is mainly to counter cessationists who attack the prophecy of the assassination. He also gives a few guidelines at the end about how to judge prophecy and a few counter arguments to arguments people have given to prove this is not prophetic. Essentially leaving the door open to this prophecy perhaps being from God, but not really taking a stance one way or the other and not having given much more research to it.

Mike Winger gives a much more faithful & thorough review of this man & his so-called prophecies. I was disappointed to hear Dr. Brown say that he had not looked into this man's track record. That being the case, how can he claim that someone else is disqualified to ethically comment on these things?

Thank you for this. I had some of the same thoughts but some other channels I really respect were saying no this is definitely not a real propesy and were literalizing everything which really broke my heart especially since many of the other things he said haven't even had the time frame to be thoroughly tested yet.
I am not willing to write this young man off yet. I am going to do more praying and testing and asking the Lord to help me discern.

It's simple; they're false prophets. The Bible is clear on that. You don't claim that God said something, when he didn't. God is never wrong. Now this didn't apply to your trucking story, but to those that attempt to prophecy on command and fail

I have a question: for the first part of the video (the first 13 minutes or so) when you’re giving examples of prophetic words, how do you know when something is a prophetic word or word of knowledge? I was always taught that a word of knowledge is like a piece of information or something that you would have no knowledge about a person that is correct, and that a prophetic word was when you would speak something about someone’s future. Now im confused lol

Dr. Brown, when read in first century context, there appears to be a good explanation for Peter's use of "it shall be in the last days" that is directly tied to Scripture (LXX). In Luke’s report of Peter’s Pentecost address in Acts 2.17, Luke ties Joel’s outpouring of the Spirit with what appears to be the preamble to Isa. 2.1-4, ‘it will be in the last days’:
Isa. 2.2: hoti estai en tais eschatais hēmerais (Οτι ἔσται ἐν ταῖς ἐσχάταις ἡμέραις)
Acts 2.17: kai estai en tais eschatais hēmerais (καὶ ἔσται ἐν ταῖς ἐσχάταις ἡμέραις)
Only the initial conjuction is changed to help it fit in the Lukan context. If so, then not only is Joel’s promised Spirit outpouring now offered, but, evidently for Luke, this is tied to the promised last days exaltation of Jerusalem and to the direct inclusion of all the Nations in Israel’s eschatological blessings (Isa. 2.1-4). This verse, then, may well be Luke’s proleptic hint - at the start of Acts - that even the Nations would soon become partakers of Joel’s gracious outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the last days.

Honestly, I don’t understand the reason for this recording.
    Deuteronomy 18:22
When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.
If one prophecy is false and another true, is that prophet from God?
It’s all clear to me. I know where you stand when it comes to Donald Trump. I believe that’s what is driving this. 🙂

Just because you can hear from the Lord does not mean that you always do. As prophets we need to learn to apply filters that mean we do present stuff that is 100% accurate. The problem is that prophets are not doing their homework in regards to this and putting out words that might have some correct elements and some incorrect elements - mixed bag prophecies. That is why the Bible instructs us to "weigh what is said". Brandon Bigg's prophecy was a "tickertape prophecy" that is a prediction of events, even then it didn't have a when component to it, it was just a "what" prophecy. It does not mean that God wants us to follow me or any other prophet with faith in the man. Our faith is in the Lord. Brandon admits in his latest video that he added to what he saw in his "vision". Our response to prophetic words should be this: consideration and evaluation. I for one believe that Brandon did get something that was from the Lord in his trump assassination attempt prophecy. Troy Black got a vision from the Lord of the rockets flying out of Gaza before the Hamas attack on Israel. Consideration and Evaluation, we need to weigh what is said and as Troy says over and over take what the Prophet says to Jesus and ask him if it is the case. It also helps if we grow as Prophets and present what we recieve with appropriate caution and in an appropriate way and take responsibilty for it.. I believe the Lord is saying. Or I think the Lord is saying this, what do you think? So how do you evaluate a predictive prophecy BEFORE it comes to pass? well the prophet needs to have built a reputation in relation to prophecy of consistent correctness. If you haven't you shouldn' tbe prophesying "thus says the Lord" but rather, there is something I think I may have got from the Lord (much more caution) - maybe pray about this and see what the Lord says to you. Prophets should have leadership covering of at least a local church. That doesn't mean that God isn't calling you to be a prophet (office of a prophet) if you don't yet have that situation. It's what you should move towards. There is a need for the current RUclips lone gun prophets to exercise more caution in presenting their prophecies and their own filters and discernment and more collaboration from them in checking and testing what they get before "throwing it" willy nilly out there.

Hey Michael Brown… if you were consistent with your theology on prophecy you wouldn’t have to do all these round abouts to figure out if it’s true or false prophecy. Granted, ITS FALSE. You say you’re not NAR, but you sure love to mix yourself with them, and justify a lot of their practices. I love how in your conversation with Holly you claimed that their description of NAR doesn’t exist. No Mr. Brown. Your own description of NAR doesn’t exist. You don’t want a broad brush painted? Then stop making excuses for heretics and false teachers. You’re enabling the wolves. I applaud you 👏🏼

@@ichoozjc the Bible doesn’t say that about teachers it says that about prophets. And yet according to God, a true teacher, who does not act accordingly in being diligent about interpreting accurately has reason to be ashamed and feel the disapproval of God.

      ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭15‬ ‭
