Can you start asking a question, it's a tough 1. If the P is an informant, then who was calling the shots. Why do so many Cali P's end up on public shows. You'll never see A O.A. do this. The Bikeriders is the closest you will get. #1 is protecting the culture, it's not the same culture as Cali. This is a culture we grew up in, love, and don't wanna see changed. Not speaking for A O.A just myself. Make that very clear. Sylo but I speak for me. Is 81 a Gov Black Op?
I worked with Norman for 3 seasons on Walking Dead he would never on purpose disrespect someone. He was a good soul very kind to the fans coworkers and more.
There are clips online from an interview Norman did and his explanation for the teeth is that he didn't want to look like Daryl Dixon in the movie, so the teeth were a way to drastically change his look.
I watched an interview and I believe Norman said he didn't want to be "Darryl" and asked for the teeth so the audience doesn't just see Norman Reedus as Darryl again
I have never been in an outlaw club. I am a full patched member of a CofC recognized group and what I really liked about this movie was how it showed how an original club started to become something very different as the club grew and expanded from it originals. That seemed to me to be spot on and a very interesting part of the story.
I think Reedus said that the teeth were an artistic liberty taken and I think he also said that its supposed to be a sort of endearing joke for motorcyclists of the time, something about them being seen as grimy and filthy by the general public. Either way, irl funny sonny sounds like a cool dude and I loved how Reedus Played the character in the film.
I just saw Bikeriders, but just saw it today with my great friend! I loved it told my story as an ol’lady in that time period in Fairbanks, Alaska & my friend was the East Coast!! It was a beautiful time in my life livin’ the life sitting on the backseat with my ol’man. ❤❤ I thk he did great job of making those days seem real. It wasn’t supposed to be another SOA movie. I loved the way he did the the sets from the TV (even down to the show “Bewitched “ the clocks , the clothes the music 🎶 my friend & I were shaking own ft & singing the songs etc ❤❤😂. I was on the streets since I was 12 yrs old & been on the outside of several Clubs from that Club to Tx Club to AZ after I moved there after Sonny stripped patches from a family member who rode with that Club that went to jail instead of joining Club. He has since died but I learned a lot. 😂. I loved the days of hanging out with friends, getting food ready for the Club I to was it by the 16:36 sound of roaring engines in my ear my arms around my Ol man & the wind in my hair. The sound of the bikes rolling by my street now brings both envy & great times gone by. I’m now almost 72 & alone but this movie today left me feeling Great !! I rarely go to bike events now that I don’t do tattoo contests at my age & even those contests have changed everyone has tattoos and not the old school ones that I had done many yrs ago. lol. Women didn’t get as many tattoos has I have. It’s fun to run into bikers who remember me from those days just saying’. 🌹❤️‼️Times they have changed & even will continue to that’s just how it is😂😢. I'm not a biker by any means. However, I grew up living in trabuco canyon. Every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday was Cooks Corner. I've been going there since I was an infant. I have 1 Hells Angels story . I was about 8 years old playing pool by myself. This guy came up, in a hells angel vest, with Vice President on it , saying " okay , my table now" I didn't know what they were, I'm an 8 year old little girl. So I said " you can play me for it. " he goes " I'm not playing no little girl " bartender even said , if she isn't done, you gotta play her for it. So we play . 20 minutes go by and here comes another guy with a vest , slams $20 on the table and says " I bet she kicks your ass. " laughing. So I took the bet. There was 1 stripe and the 8 ball left. I called " 8 ball corner pocket" sunk my shot , grabbed the 20 and got a burger before rejoining my mom and grandma outside . About an hour later those 2 guys walk out and over to our table. My mom and grandma are sitting bricks. The VP looks at my mom and says " you got one hell of a kid there" and leaves. Every so often I notice a member riding behind my car . No way they remember me , but it's almost a comforting sight . My grandmother was also at the hotel the Angels and Mongles threw down at in Laughlin.
In the bikeriders you could see Danny lyons had a vandals patch on the scene when they got in the fight with that Gary mc when the member said a vandal scratched his bike then Benny came over and decked the guy haha loved that scene but Lyons had a patch on there could only see it briefly in few scenes then later didn't have it on
I had an experience years ago, me and several other guys were in a van heading west in January and got a flat just out of the South Side of Chicago. A number of clubs flew past us, didn’t offer to help, didn’t even stop except for one club. The Outlaws, I’ll never forget that as long as I live. 15FF15 Respect for Charlie.

it was a very goood movie .. it wasnt exactly what i was expecting i was expecting them to learn more into the crime side and wild side of the life from how the trailers made it seem .
Lol, unless you're military, we all civilians. Gangs and MCs don't make you not a civ. Not special, for making up your own rules with your bike bros. 😂😂😂😂😂 This comment is hilarious. "Civilians" What you an alien?
Bike Rider movie well acted. This movie took place also 20 years after the Hollister rally that changed MC's. Even in the 60"s still easy just a start a MC just before the Hollister rally. In the movie the original members didn't like the younger members ways. Tom Hardy played a good leader. Austin Butler character want both his love. He ended leaving the club and got the woman. If the Hollister rally staged autograph didn't hope how would MC's be today? I think they changed slower. Growing up in 70's we rode mini anywhere meeting different riders. We also would jump our bicycles like Evil Kneivel. We all got along. I wish I could have met the real Funny Sonny and had a beer with him. I think Funny Sonny would have like the days before Hollister All clubs got a long drink beer together, race bikes for beer. When my dad was young he heard a pack of bikes coming. One bike came over the hill first. The rider was stand on his seat. Than the other 11 bikes came over hill. A sent to see my dad said. There is another bike rider that's in the Sturgis museum hall of frame. Look up Gloria Struck. She started riding when women couldn't ride. She never gave up . She couldn't did hotel or motel room cause she rode a bike. Label an outcast She I guess rode up to 90 years old. The later years Gloria rose with her daughter. Would like to here more stories from George and Old John. Especially bikers before the Hollister rally. P.S. maybe cool places to ride to.
Great content as usual, I liked the movie, im there to be entertained but also depicted the difference between the 60s and 70s, which was not only the biker culture but the change in our culture as a country forever

I’m not a biker but I have read hells angels by hunter Thompson and the info on the real outlaws MC is easily available, I just felt that the movie really was tame and sanitized some of the the things those MC’s did back then and made safe for a modern woke audience, the reality wasn’t so politically correct ie the total lack of German paraphernalia from wwii
Sose, always enjoy your interviews. People criticize the storytelling device having a female tell the story, but in it’s defense it tracks in the sense that a member, a man wasn’t going to talk about the club and tell their story to an outsider. That’s not how this works. It makes sense that a wife of a prominent member that wanted her husband to get out would divulge all kinds of details that would provide enough information to tell a compelling story.
Hi there. Do you know where I could buy a copy of the picture with Funny Sunny on the back of the Outlaws’ bike? 🏍️ I’ve looked everywhere on the internet. Thank you Sose.
The awful teeth were purely Norman Reedus' idea. He wanted that look for his character's representation on screen. The prosthetics were made and he went to shops and bars etc. with the teeth before shooting to make himself comfortable with the prosthetics on and also to just fck with people 😂 in an interview he said that he wanted to go in the opposite direction in terms of looks because "there is already a lot of handsome men in the movie" .
Sose. I saw an interview with Norman and he said the teeth were his idea. He said that he did it because they had a lot of good looking guys in the movie and he wanted to go in a little bit of a different direction
Norman Reedus brought the idea of the teeth. I saw in another interview with him that he said he wanted to change his look and not look like Daryl Dixon. It took me a few seconds to recognize him when he first rode up in the movie.
I have an off topic question. What would be good etiquette for passing a club while driving, (as I typically drive faster than traffic), and wanting to pass a club, I will not pass a patched club of even if I am in a car without getting the go ahead, but how would I communicate that I want to pass w/o being disrespectful? I feel that flashing headlights shows a lack of respect.
from greasers in the early 60's to post vietnam and dope in the early 70's They should make a sequal into the late 70's n 80's when ludes stopped and the crank started! starring Gary Busy!
Norman has expressed in multiple interviews his respect for the history and asked permission to ugly up the character because there were so many "Pretty Boys" and wanted to go the other way in depicting the character
Those two clearly had enough respect for each other to set their differences aside and realize they had more alike than different. Peace be upon you Sose AND EVERYONE reading this.5:20 pm cst
@DemonsRow Norman seems as humble as they come and he loves the life, I bet it would be possible if you could get in touch with the right people. If not in person maybe like a zoom call or something
Imagine trying to keep an accurate historical record for over 70 years when most of the best stories everyone was drunk ,high , and as much adrenaline as humanly possible was coursing through their veins….

Norman says in an interview he wasn't wanting people to see his character from walking dead in this movie , so he did the look of funny Sonny different than it was wrote in the script
14:38 glad he brought up how this mentality of "copycat' stuff from movies is kinda dramatic considering a lot of the original MCs were inspired by movies like the wild one

it was a very goood movie .. it wasnt exactly what i was expecting i was expecting them to learn more into the crime side and wild side of the life from how the trailers made it seem .
The life style isn't what it once was
Love the nicknames of these men😅
If you ever rode in a motorcycle club I think you can understand the movie better than most civilians.
Yes I thought the same thing walking out of the theater
Civilians clown
And your point is?
@@jizim8947 G4y comment
Lol, unless you're military, we all civilians. Gangs and MCs don't make you not a civ. Not special, for making up your own rules with your bike bros. 😂😂😂😂😂
This comment is hilarious.
"Civilians"
What you an alien?
Great show, keep them coming.
Thanks, will do!
Once again you always keep it real brother !!
Great content as always Sose George is very articulate and a wealth of knowledge about MC culture the HA’s in particular
thank you
Sose, great videos since day one keep on rockin em
I think Funny Sonny would have like the days before Hollister
All clubs got a long drink beer together, race bikes for beer.
Y’all have to see Norman Reedus show Ride! If you haven’t already, it’s dope
No i havent gotta check it out
Thanks good content, love it ❤❤❤
Glad you enjoy it!
Great content as usual, I liked the movie, im there to be entertained but also depicted the difference between the 60s and 70s, which was not only the biker culture but the change in our culture as a country forever
Freakking brilliant follow-up! Really cool you have these knowledgeable historians of motorcycle lore you can pool from.👍
Glad you enjoyed it!

Shining the light of love on the culture. Thank you for the open minded approach. More truth less fiction. That’s why I’m here.
Appreciate you
If you want to know what was behind the idea of the teeth , you should interview Norman Reedus, they were his idea
book it
The Bikeriders was excellent!!!
Don’t know how accurate his portrayal of Funny Sonny was, but his performance was my favorite part of the movie
that biker photo i want on a shirt of funny sunny. best picture ever of bikers and with 2 clubs honored at same time.
Americana at it best
I’m not a biker but I have read hells angels by hunter Thompson and the info on the real outlaws MC is easily available, I just felt that the movie really was tame and sanitized some of the the things those MC’s did back then and made safe for a modern woke audience, the reality wasn’t so politically correct ie the total lack of German paraphernalia from wwii
It was all about that
Fantastic content as always 🤙
Glad you enjoyed it
I loved the bikes before the days of aftermarket parts. Gas, oil, a leg kick, spark and go!
😂
Cool story about MC .. awesome movie 🍿 😎👌
Sose. I saw an interview with Norman and he said the teeth were his idea. He said that he did it because they had a lot of good looking guys in the movie and he wanted to go in a little bit of a different direction
Yea ive been hearing that
Good content SOSE. Keep em' comin' player.
Thanks, will do!
The most important thing Norman ever did was getting a Provari and quitting smoking. He saved a lot of lives with that.
Norman Reedus brought the idea of the teeth. I saw in another interview with him that he said he wanted to change his look and not look like Daryl Dixon. It took me a few seconds to recognize him when he first rode up in the movie.
Saw it Friday, really enjoyed it
i seen george in the early 90s at pismo beach hanging out at Hartys bar and grill
Great interview keep up the good work
Thank you
Another good one Sose. I didn't see the movie yet.
Appreciate you
Awesome video, thanks Man just what i asked mutch love and respect #ghostin
Much love
from greasers in the early 60's to post vietnam and dope in the early 70's They should make a sequal into the late 70's n 80's when ludes stopped and the crank started! starring Gary Busy!
Thanks. I'll definitely see it once it's released in Aust 16:36 ralia. Too many said they didn't like it, but what would a non club rider know.
💪🏽💪🏽 love the history and knowledge let's go!!
Norman has expressed in multiple interviews his respect for the history and asked permission to ugly up the character because there were so many "Pretty Boys" and wanted to go the other way in depicting the character
Those two clearly had enough respect for each other to set their differences aside and realize they had more alike than different. Peace be upon you Sose AND EVERYONE reading this.5:20 pm cst
appreciate you
Another great episode Sose.
thank you
I saw an interview Norman said he did the teeth thing because all the other actors are good looking guys so he wanted to be different.
I would like to see you interview Norman
that would be fun
@DemonsRow Norman seems as humble as they come and he loves the life, I bet it would be possible if you could get in touch with the right people. If not in person maybe like a zoom call or something
Nice, thanks for some info about him
Appreciate you brother
Imagine trying to keep an accurate historical record for over 70 years when most of the best stories everyone was drunk ,high , and as much adrenaline as humanly possible was coursing through their veins….
Sometimes seeing a story from a different perspective is refreshing. Patched membership don't always tell stories..if you know, you know..🤫
Sose. Been loving all your videos since I found your channel not long ago. But what song is your intro song. Sounds badass!
Thank you jacob lizotte check out his RUclips
@@DemonsRowhell yeah. His music is dope! Remember the song name?

P.S. Happy 4th of July,i'll be spending it on the road
Nice ride safe
Norman says in an interview he wasn't wanting people to see his character from walking dead in this movie , so he did the look of funny Sonny different than it was wrote in the script
Great show Sose ⚡️
Thank you
14:38 glad he brought up how this mentality of "copycat' stuff from movies is kinda dramatic considering a lot of the original MCs were inspired by movies like the wild one
I'd like to know about Indian Larry when you have time if possible?
i go to his events def will
yo i seen someone else comment this on facebook and i cant stop thinking bout it ... none of them ever had glasses on ha they burning fast as fuck going down the highway eyes wide open no squinting or anything 😂 i know its a movie but that did make me laugh
that's funny cuz I always tell my graphic guy that when he does my covers. I'm like bro their on bikes why no shades lol
@@DemonsRow lol real shit man
