Great interview George I'm an independent biker and a former Marine like you just from a younger generation. Was born in 1969 so your old enough to be my dad. Much respect to you and sharing all your insights it's absolutely fascinating look forward to part 2
Just audiobooked George’s book, ‘Exile on Front Street’. Great book, and also read Jay Dobyns book, ‘No Angel’. Never would have imagined I’d see this! Thanks for this!
Glad to see you on your own RUclips channel. You were always a great story teller with a memory like an elephant. Glad that you're putting them on video for us all to see and hear for posterity.
Sorry George, but i have no respect for Jay Dobbyns, or the organization who he used to work for and wound up stabbing Jay in the back. I don't hate Jay Dobbyns, but i don't respect him, no more than i don't respect Anthony "Tony" Tait. I have no respect for law enforcement that targets outlaw bikers. If of a member of each was hanging on a cliff and i could only save one, I'm sorry, but I'm saving the Biker, not atf. I can't stand that organization.
I read jay dobbyns book years ago. What's funny is all the charges were dropped. I think 1or 2 stuck. All these hot shot govt. Marshall's got destroyed and wasted taxpayers $$
@j.d.865 that's why and one of the biggest reasons why not many people like them. When it comes court time, every person is pissed because we the people have to pay for it. The bonuses that these undercover douchebags get from convictions The money comes from us!
@MeLoNHeAd00 he was a cocky arrogant blue and yellow. Who couldn't nab George Christie whom I believe was never guilty of anything. Christie was too business savvy and smart intellectually to mess in illegal activities. And it showed.
George is a STAND UP GUY!!! He PERSONALLY saved me a beating in the " Ban Dar " night club, in Ventura, Ca. Scumbag pool player, decided he was going to put a pool cue across my head, when his two Fellow Hells Angeles, took the Dude, outside, and taught him some manners. I bought his entire crew Beer for thanks.
Great interview!! I have total respect for you both but I was half expecting George at some point to pop out a gun and cap Jay and then declare "okay boys, job done, I Took care of Business" 😉
Sonny Barger was good friends with my dads side of the family. Otto hung out with my Grandfather in Fontana back in 1948/49/50. Otto was providing security for Lucky White and His Dude Ranch Playboys. The biggest country western swing jazz band in San Bernardino, Calif. from 1946 thru 1954. Sonny came around in the late 50s and was often at the home in Baldwin Park. Great people, Great men, Great honor. The Hells Angels MC was providing security for one of the greatest country western bands long before the Englishmen arrived from London. So I've got that goin' for me. 🤣🎸
Glad you are here. Please tell people one percenters don't exist nowadays. No biker should have a diamond patch if they have just one of the many documents you need to ride. They conformed to law and wear a diamond patch. It's crazy. They try to be what y'all used to be.
As a 20 year old cop, brand new they put me undercover.. I had never bought drugs in my life but I was good at it. I did that 4 years and then finished my career out at 45 years old. Looking back I am ashamed I ever did that and had I been wiser and more mature I never would have. Fast forward I’m still friends with all the ones I had to arrest. I just wanted to make a point as a grown man I never could get trust to break it like that again and drug war is just the government wanting their cut.
Grew up in Ventura in the 90s, and I have to say that it was a safe town. That was in part to George and the Ventura Chapter. I can't speak for how it is now, I avoid the commie state.
Thought the room you were in looked awkward for a HA and an undercover cop to meet and talk. But then I realized thats actually why it’s perfect and works haha great meeting
Hopefully he asked Jay again and get a straight answer "Did you pick the wrong patch" I think hes asking do you wish you had been a real 81 and not ATF.
I think it’s awesome you can sit down with him just like Micheal sat down Rudy Giuliani. I bet at the height of your outlaw days your wildest dreams would’ve never thought you would sit down with the guy wanting you locked up or the one locking you up.
George it’s not hard to see how you managed to garner so much respect from your club members, a no bs and respectful person that I could listen to all day. I hope you have a lot of success from telling your stories. This story was hilarious at times tbh hahaha, great story!
I met Jay Dobbyns in Tucson at DMAFB. It was my job to dispose of unserviceable munitions which we took to EOD on a monthly basis. BATF would bring in confiscated guns to be destroyed 😢😢. That’s how I met him.
I read Jay's book and thought he was an arrogant not so great guy. For me a typical "fed" with a power trip. Now just 20 mins into this I see that he has been humbled and I have a new view of him. Good to see he has some integrity and takes responsibility for his actions back then.
I have a friend..figured out he was a rat ( that didn't effect me or my crew) I am far removed from all and any illegal activities...I watch myself around him and think very lowly of him..... Not sure if George understands this feeling
Friend of mine retired a feared detective. He had 20yrs on me and called me in his last days. Explained how he was only doing his job to feed his family. He almost broke up (crying ), telling me that he WISHED he could have joined a club. Somewhere our nation has lost its soul. Sounds a lot like Jay.
@@mikevaldez7684 Mr.; a simple term of respect used in reference to those who have earned it. all evidence being visible, i doubt thats a term you would ever need worry being used when speaking to or of you.
I used to ride around in Mesa Mike’s very recognizable black pickup that he gave to his uncle after he went into the “program”. It gave me the creeps worrying the truck would get recognized. His father was Roger K., now deceased. IYKYK.
Awesome interview! You made a comment that I liked allot, when you told Jay that we were allot alike. Because its about a choice is all that make us different, just like most clubs out there as LE we are primarily military and want brotherhood, we just look for it in different places... I could serve for 20yrs with a brother in arms and when we get out I become a LE and he becomes a patched club member, are we really now so different? Its just a choice, that defines us..
This is gonna be good

This is a very intriguing interview for many different reasons. Thank you Mr. Christie for being humble enough to share this with us.
Glad you have your own channel now George. Been watching your interviews and have seen your story on tv. Good stuff. Looking forward to more.
Getting closer to death has a way of transcending barriers.
Best part… when George says “you’re out bad, like me” and ole girl says “oh my God” behind the camera… great interview, both of y’all!!
Out bad he then talks to a snake is he working for government trying another way to discredit and bring down the HA
Thank you for saving me the typing 😂❤
Nice presentation, Boss. This venue is gonna be interesting!

Great interview! Nice to see them talking to each other..much respect to these men!

I thought I was hallucinating when i just came across this !
This popped up in my. Feed. Had to watch. It was a good interview.
Holy shit George… starting your channel with a bang! Wow… kudos!
I love the fact that 20yrs later these two men can talk there stories as Men and actually look as they enjoyed there time together.
Glad to see you finally got a RUclips channel George. Great interview. Jay is a stand up guy... so are you!
Both are retired members of Outlaw groups that they lived for and were both betrayed by their people that they thought were their brothers.
I wouldn’t say Outlaws, I would say Outliers.
They’re men of adventure, pushing the boundaries.
They were Hells Angels. Dob was an undercover. He betrayed the club and lied the entire time in the club.
@@randywhitford288 the BATFE&A have been Rouge for decades, that's why I was referring to them ad Outlaws as well.
I thought you meant the ATF is an outlaw group because it's unconstitutional
This is a crazy sitdown
This is genius for him to launch a RUclips channel to. George knows how to market lol. This is gonna be real good!!!
Great Episode Mr. Christie !
Congratulations on your channel !!
Cheers !!

Good interviews! I think many Cops and Bikers have a lot in common and, unfortunately, many get betrayed by their own organizations.
