Good morning George!! Thank you for the vlog!! Hope you're doing well. I heard of Doug through Sonny's book The Life and Times of the Hells Angels. Can't wait for the continuation of your life story!! Much love and respect!! 81 FOREVER!! ❤️👊❤️👊
Sandy Alexander, was President of NYC Chapter, did a pretty good job! But like so many things, greed/power pops - in... He had 0ne very untamed, homicidal member, who carried a Big Blade. With this persons size and around 300 lbs., he probably did not need a weapon. He showed it off on the Geraldo Rivera Program on national TV around 1972... He pulled it on Robin Williams, the opportunity made it self available, in an elevator just the two... Over Robin making a Joke on Stage - something pertaining to '81'.. NOT a Wise choice!! I Must Say.. This same person was at a party later on in Northern Ohio... What happened truly saddened many. Me Cj, feel it best of George Christie, maybe explain the rest. When I given a version of events it crushed me like a beer can.

@jimfoley8014 Can you imagine Doug "the thug" Orr (1946-1986) and Armond Bletcher (1942 - 1975) as a Hells Angel tag-team in a bar-room brawl?? Holy cow... they'd wipeout an entire city!!
@@jimfoley8014 I don't know a whole lot about either Doug "the thug" or his contemporary Armond Bletcher outside of what Sonny Barger wrote about him in his 2002 memoir... but Sonny did note that those two (along with Terry the Tramp) were quintessential HAs. Another former HA that comes to mind (though I cannot think of his name off the top of my head).... was fellow that went to prison for beating up a dude from rival biker club.... did his time... got out... applied for and successfully received a "certificate of rehabilitation" from the governor of California (one of the very few given out)... then went on to get his pilot's license and became an accomplished pilot... though I think he perished in plane crash in Australia or something... but don't quote me on that.

When he was released from prison, he received a certificate of rehabilitation from the governor, one of the very few given out. He went on to become an accomplished pilot and raced airplanes. Norton also designed special aerodynamic parachutes and formed his own aviation company. Norton died while delivering a custom twin-engine airplane to a client in New Zealand. They had stripped it out and installed extra gas tanks for the long journey across the Pacific, but when one engine went out, the weight of the cargo was too much and his plane crash-dived into a wave. We received the last transmissions from the Coast Guard and apparently Norton had lost altitude fast and disappeared somewhere down under".
