Pee Wee is as real as it gets. I met him years ago in Reno. Got his book a cpl days ago and let me say, GET THE BOOK! Couldnt put it down. Plus it was interesting to hear him talk about some of the people that I also encountered over the years in being in a MC. And I can say, I get what hes saying. peewee is a legend in vegas, when i was in the teamsters working, i saw everyone wearing peewees speed shop shirts, back in 2020.

Yea it’s the same EXACT SHIT WITH HA IN NYC 3td street I was in a support club for 4 years and we had to go to there clubhouse we had to jump when they said they’d come to our CH and never pay for a drink hit on ol lady’s and that is when I then put my energy into the direction of a the 1% club which I became affiliated with UB AN WAS being offered and I turned it down at this time I was in a smaller club and wouldn’t leave them for UB which after My diamond was disrespected we we had another offer the 16s and the rest was history until I finally walked away after looking myself in the mirror and hating everything around me and how the loyalty? Brotherhood? Unity ? Honor ? Respect ? Was few an far between …..

Crazy you say Humboldt Iowa, I have a small family and they all live in that area. Very small town for those that don’t know the area. I remember going to a bar there once and there were some really rough looking biker dudes there, and my cousin said mind your business, and don’t even talk to those guys……they’re serious serious dudes and you DO NOT want problems with them. Turns out they were Sons of Silence and they apparently have a clubhouse somewhere around there.

There you go, 2 different x club guys getting along. How come they don't unite and become one. They all have the same cravings. I guess the patch can make enemies and no patch make friends forever. This is an example of how 2 enemies can get along when the almighty patch isn't there to divide. It would be great if every biker who gets tossed from there club join a club of all x bikers, soon this new club would be bigger than HA. Maybe these clubs think twice about nixing members for nothing.

They view the ones that walked away as lesser men, but what I’ve learned is that the biggest cowards have lived off of a standard for the longest instead of up to one. Hiding from life’s hard tasks in a costume. There is absolutely nothing difficult about riding a motorcycle and politicking from a barstool.

When I heard the title you've chosen for the book I immediately started laughing like a maniac. Ol lady thought I was on that shit again. I spent 10 years starting about a year after getting out of the army slipping into the hard-core biker life, which cost my first marriage to crash and burn 6 months into my hang around phase butI missed the warning sign that a really good woman who loves you and after 4 years prior to club association started things were golden, 6 months after you start into the life she tells you she sees where that is going to take you, she loves you too much to watch that happen so she's leaving and to make sure she doesn't fall for any bullshit from me she's moving 4 states(1,000 miles) away then walked out the door, and drove away...and me, a guy with a reputation as being very intelligent, known for being able to do the "Abridged version" read on people or situations, figure out who's about what and what is happening , I can figure all that shit out and then like a soldier who finds out information about the enemy go brief the guy in charge of me, and yet My ex blasting off caught me 100% flat footed and slack jawed.. I guess in the beginning we become so fixated that getting a patch becomes an obsession., blocking out what used to seem important. After 10 years in the life and figuring out that, at least in my experience there are 2 kinds of "Brithers" in a club. There are the ones who are legit tough, physically strong, mentally solid, and they join because the want to feel like they are a part of something bigger than them, they want to look around and say to themselves, "Yep, i an exactly where I belong, and I've got a bunch of brothers that I belong with." This type of Brother takes the "Right or wrong, a Brother is never wrong" as something to live by. If you call him at 3 am and ask him to come over for a bit he shows up with a couple shoves, plastic sheeting, and disposable coveralls just in case they are needed but couldn't be mentioned on a phone. He will walk into an ass beating knowing it's coming because you ain't getting your teeth knocked down your throat by yourself. I had 3 guys in the club that wee exactly like that. 2 are dead one is in federal prison serving triple life. I won't name him but I promise you both know him and probably share my opinion of him. The other type may or may not actually be a badass tough guy but they look, act, 🎉and sound like, they are. Sure, they can scrap and they are certainly capable of really hard violent actions. They are actually more likely to escalate the violence than the first type of brother...For reasons. They usually grew up with nothing to be proud of. Living with one irresponsible parent whose never around and can't remember what the other one looked like. To survive they started at a young age of bring able to meet some one, and figure out the angle to use that person in a way that they can benefit from and won't immediately be obvious to that guy that he's just a tool for this kind of brother. Other people he will immediately classify as a mark. A one time use only, he'll have something, money, a dope connection, something that whe the time comes that asset can be taken through intimidation and then the mark is told to be gone and not to come back, ever. (You can't have the dude you just took something valuable from hanging around and telling people you may need at some point how you fucked him over even though you were friends at the time. This type of brother can be very good to have on your side. He's intelligent, he's no nonsense, and in reality these guys are the most dangerous people in the club. Having always felt like he was on his own, never in a place where he felt like he belongs, and a lifetime of figuring out the angles and the marks, surviving because he could be very friendly, si friendly people couldn't tell he was using them for his benefit but once all that began to click people will still deny they got played, they will convince themselves they just misunderstood everything and there friend didn't intentionally fuck them over. He's the type of guy that will kick a dude in the balls then make the guy believe they were kicking a venomous spider off of their junk, you should buy him a drink for being a good guy like that. These brothers desperately want to belong to something but after 30 years of life that required keeping enough distance with everyone that noone could get involved in the scams, cons, and robberies he was running.that way of living has made it impossible for him to ever belong in a group of people where trust is key.but he had developed a plan to use them as soon as they met each other.
I saw both types existed right away but it took 10 years to admit, that 2nd type, most the guys in the life you ever met are going to become him if they aren't him already. That was when I finally admitted that the lie I had fallen for the most completely and had affected me the most severely was the lie of, "Hey brother, you need something just call, I'll be right there. Brotherhood is what this club is about, and without that we have nothing." That day I admitted to myself that the last 10 years were all asmoke and mirrors show that sold us on something that most of these guys said without ever thinking about what it means. It was all a lie. Thar day I pulled my own colors, walked into my chapter presidents office dropped them on his desk, said,"I told your predecessor that I was sure about making the move from prospect to full patch, I understood what the commitment was about, and I had always held up on my end, never told anyone, sorry this isn't a good time for me, maybe in a month I'll be able to help you, but this club is not what I agreed to join and made a commitment too. That club must've died when we buried the man who made me think about whether I should make that commitment. Semsd then almost everyone, maybe 4 exceptions, everyone else has consistently said no, sorry I can't do shit right now, too much on my plate right now maybe in a moth, or something similar. Now I'm losing everything, house, land business, family, my self respect is hanging on by a thread and my desire to be involved in this club is completely gone. I'm walking away, hope this works out for yall better than it did for me, but either way I don't feel a need to ever talk to any of yall again, and its probably the best thing for all concerned as my capacity to be social and talk to people is gone, I wouldn't be any fun to be around.
He didn't say a thing, showed no feelings of any kind, and I watched my back for quite a while, expecting some sort of visit at some point it never came. Of course I rarely make the 45 minute trip to their city, I don't ride Harleys anymore (I do have an 80 mph tractor supply minibike that I stuffed a 479cc Briggs and Stratton Vtwin into) and my guess is I'm out of sight, out of mind, I'm not causing a problem and they certainly have real problems to deal with. I gotta say that I don't think that any book ever written had a better, more appropriate, or more truthful title. Congratulations on your ability to figure that out, so many don't figure it out until they are 10cyears into a life at a federal facility, some never do figure it out, and even worse, a lot of guys died before they had a chance to figure it out.

Both of you guys should get out and do an outreach to "young bikers". Both of you have seen the small club life, the big clubs trying to bully you, the fight to become part of the top team, and the realization of why this choice we made was not a good one. Great job, both of you.

Why are the HA throwing out long time members?
They no longer serve a function in a club that due to federal agents, modern surveillance technology, the Patriot act and what it means the government can do without probable cause can no longer operate the way they used to. The old heads were visible, obvious, and in your face symbols of what the 1%er MC is, or used to be. The days of being an orginization that has known criminal activity as part of its standard way of operating, and then each criminal advertising their connection to those criminal activities by wearing a uniform, it doesn't work anymore. After John Gotti finally got convicted, with everything the feds learned about mob activities, structure etc... the Mafia all but evaporated for a little while. They had to learn new rackets, build new ways to "Earn for the family" build bridges to gain entry into their new business partners pockets. Yeah, there are still some old school Mafiosi shaking down crooked contractors, rigging bids running a shalom, etc... but the ones making the big money are sitting in a stock brokerage office everyday wearing a suit, looking like everyone else but they play both ends, an insider top here, a pump and dump stock there, intimidate their way into being made a partner that looks legit on paper. They also muscled their way into a lot of legit businesses as partners that allows them to use these business as a way to hide money from less legit activities. They learned that being a blatant mobster attracts federal agents, being blatant while telling those federal agents to go fuck their mothers created an obsession to send mobsters to prison. Gotti proved that.
The MCs, mostly they say that the criminal activities are no longer tolerable because it will destroy the clubs eventually. They say they continue to wear what they wear out of a sense of tradition which as a guy who lived that life, then left that life when it finally became clear to me it wasn't what it was supposed to be anymore an in some ways it never was what we all joined to be a part of. Are the Clubs really leaving the criminal stuff and gonna be social/riding clubs,... or are they taking a page from LaCosa Nostra and going low key, staying off the radar and simultaneously taking money earned in rackets, scrubbing it clean and then using people with clean records and no known connection to organized crime to slowly and steadily become a truly legitimate part of the modern business world? Many of the Jewish gangsters who ran the underworld on the east coast from Cuba to Canada starting in the late 1800s unti the 1930s and were all bur vanished from organized crime by the 1970s funneled illicit cash into honest businesses slowly enough to allow an unnoticed transition to being just another Jewish business man from NYC. The Mafia is in that process now, the MCs....I don't know, I obviously couldn't say if I did know but the reality is nobody will take "We are no longer involved with the stuff some of our members might have been doing " as true if there are still guys known to be involved with that stuff riding around and wearing the colors. If a group of politicians came out and stated, "From now on all of our elected officials are going to be 100% honest, fully transparent, and we will end political corruption in DC, but 4 years from now all the corrupt politicians are still in office, everything is still a giant shit sandwich are we gonna say, "well they said they will be honest and leave the corruption in the past they would lie about something so important socI believe them." Nobody without a massive brain hemorrhage would say such a thing. But I would be more likely to trust the 1%er over a politician. The 1%er did little to hide illegal activities, they just tried to hide legal evidence of it, but a politician that makes $180K salary for 16 years but has a net worth that started a$105k in a bank account now has a well diversified portfolio that shows a declared net worth of $87 million and their 3 kids without any real job all have millions of dollars as well. Maybe politicians should start wearing colors and instead of elections the just have a huge brawl like the Mongols and HA had in the casino a while back. It would be better entertainment than campaign lies. 41:21

So funny how different experiences are depending on where you live. Growing up in New England i had literally the opposite experience. The outlaws would treat you like a man and show you love, and 81 were absolute scum bags who extort you,try to take your ole lady etc. I think all big clubs get a big head when they run the area, and behave completely different when they are the "smaller" diamond in the area trying to grow in a new area

Mooch has to be the only person in history to be part of two of the big 1% clubs and never have to prospect, which is unbelievable. It was easy for him to walk away because he didn't have to earn the patches.
I normally don’t reply to messages like this but since you worded it relatively politely, I’ll bite. First off, the term “patch over” was created because it’s relatively common for clubs to go patch for patch with certain clubs. There are many clubs members out there who didn’t prospect. As far as not earning it, I was a very active Mongol for almost 15 years. Started many chapters, created some different programs, and put in a lot of work during those 15 years. So saying I didn’t earn it is ridiculous

This is what you can achieve when you skip the ridiculous attitudes and concentrate about what it’s all about: Motorcycles, riding them, partying and respect each other,… quite simple actually but for some fuckwitts apparently not and they are allowed to make the headlines and will for sure be the downfall of a lifestyle I have loved my whole life !

Depends on the club and who is in leadership. Some club stuff like merch gets given back out to other members. Patches are usually destroyed

Clubs need to recruit from a different pool of talent and have a more militant approach to lifestyle and discipline. Too much partying makes you mentally weak. Clubs should be like a paramilitary organisation where you go as a young man and be a better man for it, learning combat and leadership and how to act as a man in a 'brotherhood'. Everyone I know who has been through the lifestyle its spat them out after chewing them up, dead or still in jail
atm its like a social club that attracts junkies, prostitutes and mentally unstable
