Michael doesn't interrupt people when they're talking. Some interviewers cut people off, but Michael lets people talk which is a good characteristic trait
He stated in prior interview that he learned how to be a good listener.
@@juicyfruit6311 That's good though because lots of interviewers always cut the guests off.
Respect
That’s good also because Mr Brasco likes to talk 😎
He was raised that way. That's the best way to be. Respectful and patient. But into what the other person is saying. You cant hear the other person if you're talking...

Not as long as politics is a path to wealth & power instead of a part time service based job like it’s supposed to be.
"politicians, lawyers, and judges have a license to steal, we don't need one" Don Carlo.
Politicians are the real criminals. Because they have a choice to serve the people or the rich that built the system/world.
thats a very good comment/statement
The ex mob and ex fbi agent are able to talk after years with respect. Two politicians from opposing parties never. What does this mean about politicians? Greetings from Polish
The politicans in poland really hate each other? Its not really the case in germany. I think 99% of the politicians are cordial with each other and do talk. they dont hold no real grudges and dont get really heated. But thats a bad thing in my opininion it doesnt really seem like they would do a whole lot, when they are friendly with each other 99% of the time.

he does have a hit on him, that shit is serious
@@gavinriven7377 the mob does not want attention, you kill someone like Joe... you get PLENTY of attention.
@Pterinochilus John your right.
Great to see two legends from different sides talk to each other with respect and hold no animosity for the past. This is a real sit down with two well known individuals with class and respect.
This interview is a gem, other content creators should take note, This is how to do an interview properly, dignified & classy,A rarity these days.
Im sure if your a multimillionaire, you can pay 5-10K for these sit downs.
This is THE most fascinating, tremendous interview (SIT DOWN) that i could ever have imagined…it’s like a sequel to Donny Brasco. Amazing how life unfolds. God Bless you both 🙏
Joe may have been able to separate his job from his feelings, but he sure retained alot of body language, speech patterns, and mannerisms from being in that deep.
That has to be the way he really speaks. First of all it’s probably why he blended in so well and second of all I’ve never heard him not talk that way. Seems consistent
I'm sure he grew up in the same neighborhood as a load of wiseguys. So they will all grow up with similar mannerisms, accents etc I suppose. Like the other person said, it's exactly why he infiltrated so easily.
Maybe its a New York thing? He is Italian American like all those wiseguys afterall.
Joe is an Italian 🇮🇹 from North Jersey.....😊
He was of the same background as the wiseguys, American Italian, New Jersey guy, knew some guys etc
He’s done more business with Joe OUT of the life than when he was in it. That’s crazy to think about
This is not the "sit down" we deserve, but it's the one we needed.
For a zoom call, or whatever, it's awesome. Well directex!
I like your profile pic...who is that? Willem?😂
@@evanabbott2737 indeed... Cheers, man.
@@onerandombruh nice!😂👍
Joe Pistone is one brave, devoted, hard working and selfless giant. Bravo sir. 👏
I've been waiting for this for so long!
Joe Pistone is a legend! Thanks for bringing this to us Michael.
@@michaelfranzese I really enjoyed it, can't wait for part 2!
Hearing Pistone talk just further proves how great a job Depp did playing him. Got his whole swath down to a T
Just imagine living like a mobster among other mafia members for SIX years and all the time knowing you wont ever be jailed or caught because you are a FBI agent. What a story
No, only worried that someone finds out who you are and decides to kill you and/or your wife and child.
I could never do it. I’d faint from fear and anxiety. Geez.
Yeah but you would always have to worry about being killed at every second.
Pistone or any undercover agent runs the risk of getting indicted if they cross the line whether it was intentional or even if they didn't know it
@adamirishconundrum851 that's more of a thing now than it was back then though. He had a bit of a wider line that he could walk, I think.
The fact that you both can sit in the room and have a cordial conversation is astounding to me congrats men
"He didn't want to get his agents tainted." Look at em now. They have fallen so, so far.
Unbelievable!! Franzese with Joe Pistone?? This is incredible! Thank you, Thank you 😁👍
I just cant stop laughing man...like literally the men from exact opposite worlds chatting like homies and genuinely respect each other.. these gentlemen 👌🏼
These 2 could have reversed jobs and they both would excel.
Welcome to the Golden Age, The Eran Of Love and Peace!
@@MrAitraining yeah crazy to think that way both are street smart, both are smart smart i guess Pistone could also be ruthless if need be the only thing that separated them was their path of life choices but at the end of it all Pistone is still in witness protection while Franseze is a rock star ... kind of ironic end of that tale.
More often than not there was an unspoken respect between LCN and FBI.
@@MrAitraining & sometimes they are one in the same..& sometimes people aren’t who they pretend to be 🤫
You can see a sense of joy or mutual respect whenever Michael speaks to someone from that life, like too old vets trading war stories, you just notice a little smile across Michaels face like “Hey I knew that guy well” or “Hey I remember that bar” pretty cool to see man
Micheal seems like a Historian/Journalist. The guy is ready/prepared for each video. It’s beautiful.
Fascinating interview.
Joe is so direct and candid. Interesting how emotional he became at one point.
Two old adversaries with a lot of mutual respect.
Incidentally I think a lot of modern day tv interviewers could learn something from Michael here. He asks the right questions and just as importantly he listens to the answers.
Can’t wait for Part 2.
It's sad how old Johhny Depp has gotten
That’s not Johnny Depp
Marriage will dk that to a man.
😂

r/wooooooosh
Not Johnny Depp ... 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 .... Is this guy serious...
The thing is that Michael does a great job at interviewing because he actually sits back and LISTENS to what other people have to say instead of constantly hearing himself ask questions and answering for the guest.
