There was a dude that penetrated the Hell's Angels....That is pretty impressive too. (Granted, the Italian mob "wrote the book" on American gangsterism, but given the reputation of the Hell's Angels as a criminal organization, that is nothing to scoff at either. The MOST IMPRESSIVE feat would be a dude with platinum blonde hair and piercing blue eyes penetrating either the Bloods, Crips, or MS-13's higher echelons😂😂)

A great interview to be honest, one of the best I've seen, Had watched it a few years back, and re-watched it a few weeks ago, and what a great context and perspective we get from here, from the iconic Pistone and the Donnie Brasco legend. Really shows how much he had to endure personally, and to get rewarded with almost to nothing, and risk with such a sacrifice. True legend.

I mean, I’m sure that not everybody gets to be a “made guy”. They only make the best of the best. Well, Joe Pistone must have been the best of the best since he was about 6 months away from getting made. But he did it as an undercover agent.
Then too, look at what Sonny said about him as he was voluntarily going to the sit down where he knew he would be killed. He tells the bartender that he’s going to a sit down that he may not come back from. He calls his girlfriend and tells her that if she sees Donnie: “tell him I loved him and I’m glad it was him, he was just better than us.”
That’s not acting. That’s not a front put up by an undercover. That just proves what a great guy Pistone is and what an amazing job he did. 🙏🏻

@@cm-yu6gu There is no strength in the mafia. If they were mentally strong, they never would have had to resort to a life of crime. They'd have been able to educate themselves, adhere to a STRONG set of morals, and compete with the rest of the law-abiding world for jobs. If they were DEDICATED and RESPECTFUL, they'd be faithful and loyal to their wives. They are the weakest people in the world. That's why they have to cheat. And even within their own sick, immoral murderous society, they can't even adhere to the rules, which is why they end up killing each other all of the time. They are not infallible, they are the most fallible beings on the earth. There is no honor in the mafia, just dishonor. They're like animals. They kill each other, they're too weak to live by the rules that the rest of society has crafted. They're nothing but a bunch of psychopathic, sociopathic degenerates. I don't know why some (stupid) people glamourize them. To say that there is only one difference between Pistone and the mafia thugs is an extremely wacky, off-the-mark statement. He had the moral fiber and the strength to be who he was as a man and be on the right side of the law, PLUS he was smart enough to figure out what makes these mafia degenerates tick. He knew how they thought and he was able to easily outsmart them. So anyone who thinks that the mafia guys are smart is an idiot. They're not smart. If they were smart, they wouldn't need to live lives of crime. It doesn't take intelligence to use guns, knives, threats, bribes, blackmail or intimidation. That's why they resort to those tactics, because they have no brains and no talent to achieve things by the rules.

Wow, Patrick! What an amazing interview and you probed him well with some great questions! Joe Pistone is indeed loyal and devoted to the FBI. But not that it isn't impossible, I seem to find it hard to believe that within those 6 years of being Donnie Brosco, and only seeing his wife every 4-6 months during that time, that he didn't have a girlfriend on the side. His wife is an ace and truly deserves a medal! And, it's a shame that the FBI didn't pay Joe more money for his phenomenal loyalty and dedication.
