@@michaelfranzese This is great because you hear it straight from the main sources involved. Not an “anonymous Justice Department source” or “a person familiar with the thinking of those involved with the situation at the time.” God how I hate the news and the way they manipulate words.
I have only been in NYC once, but I heard the way Giuliani cleaned up NYC during his time as mayor was nothing short of incredible. Time Square was just one example. It used to be seedy, dirty, and generally a place you didn’t want to bring your family. Giuliani and NYPD completely changed the way other large US police departments reduced crime and allocated resources. NYPD and Giuliani implemented COMPSTAT and it revolutionized law enforcement. The idea was to get up to the minute crime stats and using it to identity trends and hot spots in the city. From there, more police personnel and resources were proactively allocated to the problem areas. It really worked and NYC was drastically cleaned up. Unfortunately, that idiot DeBlasio has allowed all the gains that were made to be lost and NYC crime rates are alarmingly high again.

It's true, Giulani reformed NYC like no other Mayor. I know, I grew up there, and as a kid, my stepdad snuck me into the XXX theatres that ruled Times Square. I saw XXX rated films as a kid, and now, you can never imagine Times Square looking like it looks now. It's like Disney World there. My mother is still in NYC, Spanish Harlem, and I go back to visit her all the time, and each time I do, I have to get off at Port Authority, and still am amazed at the change. Giuliani has to be credited for creating what Times Square looks like now. And as for Franzese, much love and appreciation for what you are doing. -dc

The mob would be stupid morons to whack a prosecutor or anyone like that as it would bring the full force of law enforcement down upon them and that is REAL bad for business.

@@theunholinesswithin70 You aren't taking something into account. It is the reality of sin being in the world. God who is Holy Holy Holy hates sin and must punish it. You say He hides from His creation. We ought to be glad in a sense He doesn't handle sin when it is committed because we would all be thrown into Hell. Romans 1 says God's power in creation is self evident so much that to dismiss it doesn't make sense. We can know God exists, but we can't know for sure if He loves us or not. That is why He sent Jesus. Jesus lived the perfect life to die for our sins so our sins could be judicially paid for and also so that the sinner can be declared not guilty even though we all are. Blaming God for creating life in the first place makes no sense especially because you can hear the Gospel at any time and be saved.
