He's made it clear that this is fiction. It's a made up story to generate the "feelings inspired by the book" when he saw it as a college kid. He didn't want it to be associated with any club or to portray real people. It was his interpretation of people and events from his experience with the book (which I own and does not give much source material at all. They were real people and real events but just a few pictures and paragraphs, not enough to build a movie around unless a TON of shit was made up to fill a script.). So I would doubt it's meant to serve as even a loose historical interpretation. I think the kid is there to represent the new breed, not an individual, to show how the club had changed, how the original guys got older and outgrew it all while being replaced by the kids who were just getting started. The fact that the original members didn't even ride to the fight and sat in their cars was a big part of that. They just didn't have it in them anymore, they grew up and didn't live the same way, think the same way as they did and the new kids were just murdering raping assholes without any kind of honor or respect. It showed the end of their club and the beginning of something else entirely as the end of their story.. for the purpose of the fictional story, not a biopic. That's how I see it and from what I've read that seems to be what the creator is saying too.
It was a representation of Harry Taco Bowman the whole movie has historically accurate points in it with creative freedoms taken just like they did in the last of the Mohicans and other movies that start off with the words used inspired by in true events that's why the timeline doesn't make sense plus it's easier to make a movie without people knowing its The outlaws unless you know it is because we and the biker community know but it's easy to be sued by an organization like the hells Angels do if it's too close to accurate

@@johnoutlaws6692 where are you getting that info? When I googled “outlaws mc founder death ” there are several sources that say he got shot by another member.
Ok regarding the “kid” in Bikeriders. I see a lot of comments from people that believe the kid represents Taco Bowman. My question is. Did Bowman come to power in that way? Also is the story about The Vandals presented fiction or fictionalized from the book? I looked at the book and do not recall any story like the one presented in the movie. What really sticks in my craw is how Johnny was viciously bushwhacked and the club did nothing at all in response. I could see something like that taking place and no real response happen because he was not a good leader or a respected leader, but the character didn’t appear to be like that. Any thoughts anyone?

Wow, interesting. I had no idea that The Kid was based on a real-life character. Just talking about the movie character, The Kid was a POS. Let’s go wheelie some Harley’s I’m down
I don’t think it’s Taco but when I seen it, I immediately thought the role was modeled after him tho
Thanks for the warning, I’ll be back after I see it
Def
What was the name of the movie you guys are talking about
The bike riders
Taco ! Was arrested down the street from my sisters house in Sterling Heights, Michigan by the feds , I saw Taco for the first time in Hell Michigan at the Dam bar, Chicago chapter in Michigan chapter pulled in to the bar like an army, good times in the early 70’s but dangerous for club members
so I watched " the bikereiders" ( I also read the book along time ago ) last night and thought it was well done, I know people have a problem with the femnale narration, if it helps "kathy" the female protaganist or "narrator" if you will is played by Judy Comer who got her start in 1 of the best TV shows ever made from Brittan called "killing eve" with canadian actress Sandra Oh ( she started in greys atonomy ) I dont think killing eve made much of a presence in the USA but here in Canada we get blessed with incredible shows from england and hooooooooooooooooooooooly f**k Killing Eve is 1 of those amazing shows that blows your mind and all Im gonna say about it is Judy Comer from "the Bikeriders" plays a pycho russian assasin WATCH THIS SERIES you wont regret it
i be honest with you. If movies dont have that british accent i dont like them as much lol
@@DemonsRow I get that , but this was a british with a british accents the only 2 that dont was sandra oh cuz shes canadian and plays a cia agent on loan to MI-6 and judy comer who is britsh but pefectly plays a russian, so whats crazy bout the bikeriders movei is sh is britsh but perfectly does a mid-west accent I was stunned by her performance but "killing eve is a british show with Brit accents trsut me dude you will dig it
I agree. The kid also had the thin mustache taco used to rock. I think it was like a nod to taco of not a representation of his real life exploits. Granted I’m on the outside looking in and don’t know shit about the mc histories. I’ve only hung around a few clubs in my time but never got into it
Good movie. Thats gotta be Taco from everything I’ve seen or read about him. I hope it doesn’t take a bunch of weekend warriors and make them think they are tough guys like SOA did.
Yeah after the kid brought the gun and killed Tom hardy I was like no honor and a back stabber the scene where the kid was wearing a bandana on his head I was like yup that's taco and he is expanding aggressively
Yeah exactly, such a lame move to bring a gun to a knife fight. I don't get how dudes see the kid character as cool, his actions were cowardly
He also at I had the bandanna at the end like Taco.
I watched Bikeriders and Johnny mistake was bringing a knife to a gunfight. Also, he allowed too many random members from other chapters which was another downfall.
His boys shouodve been strapped
Missed the point that they took off their colours at funeral for AOA.
🎉
18wheeling ghostin thumbs up 👍
always ghostin brother
that’s so messed up Johnny kept it real knives and fist and the kid just shot him I was like wow and the fact that everyone just went with it is crazy. And you got a HUGE point I didn’t realize, if you stab a prez no way in hell are you joining that club 😂
Thanks for the spoiler alert! Gonna watch the movie later today then revisit your video!
Hope you enjoy it!
But why did you highlight Michigan when you were talking about Milwaukee?
Because your a better editor then me so i had to prove that by making a mistake so you could point it out
@@DemonsRow -LOL, the ONLY reason this was so obvious to me was because just a couple of days ago I was filing some paperwork for a Medical Institute or a university hospital and there was something really off about the logo. ADHD.... can also mean hyper focus. I stared at this stupid logo for like 5 minutes trying to figure out what in the Arby's oven mit was going on. Then I just googled the place and it was obviously the shape of the State of Michigan incorporated into the logo..... but on the scanned in copy, it was like Bizarro Michigan. I felt so stupid, I passed it around and no one else knew what it was either, until I told them. Sometimes work is boring.
No crying spoiler today! Haha jk
I think you right, they just relocate people and timeline a bit to make it fit, but also not fit 100% too. Good call. ✌️
Lol much love
EDUCATION. Thanks SOSE.
appreciate you
Taco world have been a little kid
Wow, interesting.
I had no idea that The Kid was based on a real-life character.
Just talking about the movie character, The Kid was a POS. It wasn’t just that he was wild or anything, it was he was disloyal and low-down. Johnnie gave The Kid a chance to prove his worth and he blew it. He showed that he will turn on anyone and in the end, he proved it again when Johnnie accept the challenge that The Kid literally brought a gun to a knife fight.
Johnnie was the representation of one set of values, not exactly noble but fair and The Kid represented a lower, ruthless set of values that was unredeemable.

Just watched this last night. Idk why but I’ve never cared for most motorcycles. Except for choppers. I’m 41 now and feel like I should have gained some interest of while younger but never was drawn to them like I am now. Not to mention I’m just a little skinny guy and am mechanically challenged. Some say that I’m mentally challenged too.😅 anyway, I found your video interesting. Sub + 1
lol Appreciate that, thanks for subbing!
How was the movie? I was thinking of renting it on Amazon
It was ok

Well, who did Johnny play then in the bike riders? Is he a fictional character?
......Would have been way to early to be "Taco?"
Stairway Harry
Really didn’t like that kid who shot Johnny. Haha
None of us did lol
Too much hype surrounding this movie.
Taco atlesst the kid in the movie he was wrong for what he did, Johnny boys should of def been strapped, had benny been there that woulda gone differently some what, dudes did nothing after seeing that and then the 2 who jus kept riding with the crew it was def the responsibility to handle that kid
Yea that ending was not done well
who was johny?????
whats that intro song?

Don't keep up to much with the group but if he hasn't been named I feel like my old neighbour was the snitch that possibly got taco put away. He had a huge outlaw tattoo on his back so can't deny connection. But his story was he was sent to md to open chapter but never seen no bikers round him. Didn't even have a vike himself.
He showed me pictures of him with taco both personal and in a published book about the outlaws
I don't know shit but I know that the story isn't really historically accurate. As someone who works in the film/video industry, and is somewhat privy to certain events as recounted by old timers much liberty was taken in this film. I wondered this myself if Toby was meant to be Taco as just an homage and that could very well be but I do know that this is not how Taco got in the club...but like I say...I don't know shit. If you say you heard this from me, I'll deny it.
The Kid has absolutely nothing to do with Taco. Johnny Davis left the club at 1967 and lived peacefully till he passed in 2018, and Taco became the probate at 1970, they even never met each other. "The Kid" is the previous pres...
I disagree i think the kid was a glimpse at taco even if timelines didnt add up
@@DemonsRow Do I understand you correctly, you mean, he was like a reference, synthesis referring to Taco, right?
Club Club Club
The Kid is Taco
Taco bowman was never in the milwaukee chapter.
I said that
in that side by side the real dude kinda looks a little like Mickey Rourke imo idk why i dont see any hispanic
