Hi, it's Otto/Australia, just saw your report, yes it's Mercedes, but they are also sneaky on how a car is equipped. Many decades ago a panel beater who was Germany, Mercedes trained and worked there as such moved to Australia and any Mercedes model he did know inside and out. A Merc that had a smash, he did get to repair it. By dismantling that car he noticed it had panels missing that should have been there for safety aspects. Yes, Mercedes had to put them in for Germany, but they left them out from the cars they exported to Australia and those cars sold in Australia did cost several ten thousands of Dollars more as they were sold for in Germany. Because the safety aspects in Australia did not require to have all that, those extra panels were simply left out. This panel beater never raved again about how well advanced Mercedes was about the rest, this experience cranked his spirit. He wanted nothing else, but a Mercedes car for himself, but instead he went and bought a Chrysler Valiant Charger V8, the same car that Australian HWY cops drove and I followed, I bought myself a fast and very powerful Chrysler CM Station Wagon. But my family involved and we drive this days Hyundai and KIA cars and love their looks and how they perform. Keep up the good work, you and your wife are doing, we already booked another South Korean holiday - our hire car we also booked already is a Hyundai Kasper.
