Beautifully done! And I enjoyed learning about the Merc as well.
Rory was basically in my backyard, I commute to this area three times a week. That said, someone should have warned him about altitude sickness. We advise people not to go "to elevation" for their first week or so here, but I understand he probably only had a couple days to shoot this piece. Great job by the videographer to capture a lot of the beauty and unique wildlife that's unique to our area. This was fun watch!
Altitude sickness got me good! Absolutely ruined me the next day. -RR
@@AutoTraderTV haha I could see it creeping in when you got to the lake! Hopefully you get to come back during the summer and drive to the top, plus drive iconic Pikes Peak just an hour south of where you guys were.
I did that once. Straight from the car rental at Denver International Airport into the mountains. Instant altitude sickness and nose bleeds, especially since I usually live 1/4 mile from the beach.
This was completely unexpected and the coolest car review video I’ve ever seen. I absolutely loved this, thank you!

Much as I love C&W and I’m never not amused by them. Your review gave it the gravitas of a David Attenborough BBC2 documentary from the hey day of the BBC’s finest. Young C&W came across as that rather garish ITV programme that your mum and dad always turned their nose up at.
Mum and Dad are long gone now and I love the finer things in life including my own little AMG. Great car, great State and Great review.

Living in Colorado, it's usually safe to subtract 50-70 miles from the EPA estimated range. People say 300+ range is overkill, but I want a reliable 250 range for ski trips (which is typically cold with steep grades). An estimated range under 300 is too much of a gamble
It will be the half of the range in winter time unless they put in a heating for the batteries

History and a modern car. Nothing beats the story that tells us how country roads in America lead us to an awesome isolated town in the mountains on a new Mercedes EQS SUV. I would have loved to see the story climaxes with John Denver's song, Country Road. This is lovely!

The future of cars is very bright, once all these cool features start to funnel down into what’s considered ‘standard’ features it’ll be a great time to buy a car. A time where you won’t need to sell your house and live in the car to be able to afford modern tech. P.s nice informative vid ❤️ could watch these all day - good going Rory 😊
@@Jedimack7 True, and I completely agree with you. But I am also hopeful that all manufacturers will be trying to outdo each other to the point where they will all add these things and charge extra for it - but to stand out some will realise biting the bullet and including things to stand out from the pack as standard options, will be a thing.
I remember when simple things we take for granted ie reverse parking sensors, abs, power steering, seatbelt reminders and even power windows was a hot feature to pay for until the odd one or two started using the fact that it comes as standard as a selling point - someone like Ford is usually first to it. I’m talking a long period of time obviously but I’m hopeful things speed up :)

I'd say it's more refined than a Range Rover. It corners better. And is more comfortable. Off road it can probably go most places the Range Rover can. Perhaps I'll do a head to head one day. -RR
