Electric cars have been around in a usable form since the 1870s. However, if they haven't managed to become a viable alternative to ICE after 150 years, I would suggest that they are never going to.

Aside from the Ioniq 5, Rivian, and for higher end, the Taycan or Lucid. I can’t think of any other electric cars I would actually want. I will say, the E-Tron GT car looks pretty cool.

I picked up my non-foundation cyber beast six weeks ago and added on FSD. It is the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. I live near Miami Florida. It has been awesome for beach trips, kids, activities, road trips to Disney, etc. I put on over 5000 miles in just six weeks of ownership.

The list just shows what a ludicrous state that the UK EV market is in. The Chinese have models that would wipe the floor with almost all reviewed, but of course, you're discouraged from buying them through sky high import duty and taxes.
As someone that lives in a large Tesla hub area the only teslas I would consider would be the redone model 3 performance or a model S with a factory or extended warranty. Thing is as far as looks and not being associated with Elon cultists I would rather have a Taycan Turbo or Turbo S in the garage and maybe a Audi Etron GT RS if I was truly on a budget. The fact you can get a used Taycan with a factory warranty for 75% less than their chip shortage pricing is amazing as a Swedish person as we LOVE bargains….though I will be cross shopping the Taycan Turbo with the Model S plaid once we move into our new house and I get a wall charger installed.
So you moan about the price of the Astra, how boring the Explorer is and then fill the top spots with overpriced cars most of which will probably be gone by the time VW group has gone down the pan and that most won’t bother with. You’re not on Top Gear anymore!

This list is really strange. I got the sarcasm and the attempt at humor when you were ranking some of the cars, but still, some choices are just off. I can't agree with most of these rankings.

Agree with everything apart from the RR Spectre. That’s in a class of its own. An S+ if you like. The door issue is a minor characteristic that I’m ok with. That issue can be ironed out. A car brand that was built for an EV power train long before it was ever available. Looks amazing from every angle. Given a lottery win and THAT is the only EV I would ever purchase and would gladly daily it.

Regarding future videos and editing: I would really recommend to not put the massive boxes with car names in the middle of the screen when they're covering the cars. Put them in the bottom 5th of the screen (like subtitles). Would be much better imho.
Putting the taycan as A tier because it depreciates, while putting the cybertruck as S tier despite the fact it wouldn’t be allowed to be sold in many countries because it’s unsafe for the roads. Feels like a whole world of misplaced priorities.
Understandably a personal list but how could you possibly not give the Renault 5 a high rank? The baguette holder being an option isn’t even worth mentioning?! It’s utterly incredible and far superior (to my disdain) than its cousin the A290 which looks the business.
Looking to update my current BEV, to in fairness to Ford.... I went to look at the Explorer and Capri... For a £50,000 car my wife and I were super unimpressed at the interior. Horrible scratchy plastics everywhere and dreadfully average seats. 👎👎👎. Not even slightly interested. However, Hyundai Ioniq 5N.... What a weapon, quality fit and finish.... Totally worth £65k! If only we could actually afford one..😢

Horrible scratchy plastics everywhere and dreadfully average seats. 👎👎👎. Not even slightly interested. However, Hyundai Ioniq 5N.... What a weapon, quality fit and finish.... Totally worth £65k! If only we could actually afford one..😢
The objectively most efficient EV pickup truck with the largest bed, best maneuverability, best soundsystem, least amount of scratchable paint, most driving comfort, best software, etc. ... "doesn't make any sense as a pickup truck"..
