    Excellent video. The only thing I could mention is the spring guide doesn't really need to be tight on reassembly, you can use it to adjust the tension on the spring to make the needle movement easier. Most people turn it in until it stops. But making the tension lighter can make longer airbrushing sessions easier on the hands and reduce cramping.

    Thank you for educating me on painting and all the steps to go along with it. I remember when I was young my older brother got a Wing gundam master grade back in 2002 or 2003 and it was so cool and I got a Zoids model but now that I’m older with grown man money 😂 I finally bought a PG RX-78-2 Unleashed coming next Tuesday and your videos helped me understand do’s and don’ts on painting you’re the best on explaining! Thank you again!!!!

    I have heard it said that you should never pull a dirty needle out the back because it can leave paint inside the mechanism that can be very hard to get out. Pulling it out the front will prevent this. Have you heard this?

    Hello frostedsnow :)
    I use same airbrush.
    I have Proconboy platinium 0.2mm, 0.3mm and 0.5 mm (trigger). It's a good choice.
    I never use a ultrasonic cleaner :p
    To buy spare parts, such as nozzles and needles, for this brand of airbrush gun, I found an American store : Spray Gunner.
    He also sell a set of tools to disassemble parts of these airbrushes.
    Good morning from a french Korean's child :p
    Best regards

    if anyone is having issues with the airbrush tip feeling clean but when using you notice that the airbrush spits, get paper dental points soaked in thinner or the solution of your preference. since it's paper it's not gonna damage what's already a delicate part but will absolutely help to clean the tip

    I have a Tamiya airbrush, so its recommended to use a thinner to clean it instead of the airbrush cleaner solution??? I use acrylic paint. Thank you.

    • @BigAndTall666

      Both, airbrush cleaner for acrylics first, then lacquer/cellulose thinner, finally destilled water... That procedure leaves the airbrush spotless! 😉

    I use a ultrasonic cleaner after every project. Any advise with that?

    • @ghostrangerp.8819
      @ghostrangerp.8819 3 года назад

      You really don't need a ultrasonic cleaner...it's only for people who are sloppy and don't do maintenance, I do my own maintenance on my airbrushes...I clean them more thoroughly then they do on this video...and yes you don't need to tighten the parts by tightening the parts you wear can wear out it out in turn making it useless in time....

    • @davidkoloc1313
      @davidkoloc1313 3 года назад +1

      @@ghostrangerp.8819 I Tighten parts to the positions and tensions they were set to when manufactured, especially when reinserting/seating the needle into the nozzle. Too much pressure here can flare the thin metal of the nozzle. Just enough so no liquid passes through when there's airflow is enough.

    • @ghostrangerp.8819
      @ghostrangerp.8819 3 года назад

      That depends on the manufacturer airbrush that your using not all airbrush are the same....I guess you haven't been around the block....you must be using about just 2 airbrush....that's the problem.....when you use a multitude that rule goes out the window....
