I recognise that you are going to fair amount of effort recording your adventures in port and I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for your effort to show us around. I am finding these videos in particular very interesting, having never been to Curacao or Aruba. I am all about trying the local food and alcohol.

Man, my husband and I are so bummed we missed you! We were in Curacao last week on Celebrity Beyond and the bridge went fully open right to the other wall for 45 minutes! So we had to wait, although we could have taken the ferry by the time the gate opened the boat was just getting there. It was very cool! It was 42 with humidity though. We also went to lunch at Pasa Bieu about ten minute walk just a street beyond all the shopping you went to across the street. Sign says Old Market Pasa Bieu with locals in a amanzing open kitchen market experience. It helps to know Spanish. If you need help with the boards in front of the stores you can always them. My husband and I had Iguana soup and I had Goat stew. It was amazing! You want "the true local food experience" you go there! It was delicious! Oh and definitely do the lego tour!!

It’s built over a sand floor and there’s a self guided history tour as well that is very moving and educational. The synagogue is stunning and totally worth the trip. Once you cross the swinging bridge, continue on that street, past the " CiCi", and you will come to a square that has a clock, like a swiss clock on the side of the building. On the hour, the clock strikes, plays music and little Figurines march out, then go back inside. Quite a treasure. Also love the Dutch shop you went into. Always something new to explore there.

Re locks. In London UK there was a bridge over the river Thames where people put locks. They were all along the rails of the bridge. Millions of locks commemorating people. After many years of this tradition the government cut all the locks off and banned the tradition because the weight of the locks got too great and affected the stability of the bridge. True story. Your review of Curacao was wonderful. I’ve been there twice and loved every minute of it. Sailing in on the Celebrity Constellation, early in the morning, I thought I was sailing into a different place. They refine oil from Venezuela on one side of the island. All of the flaring from the refineries made it look hellish. Curacao also had a roll in the European slave trade. There is incredible history on that island as well as incredible beauty. My favorite restaurant hangs over the Riff Fort walls and overlooks an infinity pool and the cruise ships. I’d rather go to the Caribbean than Hawaii.

Also, I’ve traveled to more places than I can remember & I used to live in another country. I’ll try things that are local to the area but it’s always interesting to go to a McDonald’s or Burger King in other countries just to see their local take on the menu so in a way you are still trying the local food.

I have heard of many really enjoying this Island. I love these taking us on tour and real trip things. It is just nice seeing people safe and not over crowded and seeing things...knowing you are going to get a taste of each place either with safe walks or tours and your low key way of showing us how....well it is just fantastic. Idk..nothing is like walking around with same time touring..as you experience it and we just all enjoy you guys so...thanks Tony.
