Viscous: having a thick, sticky consistency between solid and liquid; having a high viscosity
Vicious: deliberately cruel or violent
I thought it sucked at first. You know what? I understand what the writer / director was trying to do here and I think he did it. Now, the crowd of patriotic people who collect guns, survival gear, and actually train are looking for something specific. They came into this movie with certain expectations and those expectations are going to disappoint them. I know because I'm in that crew. Reflecting on this movie I see that you have to just walk in the theater expecting to simply watch a movie. The director, I think, is trying to make the audience feel absolutely horrified using a scenario that is absolutely terrifying: it exposes how we all have an inhuman, demonic monster inside of us and how we are capable of such horrible nightmares that can easily be perpetrated against our own neighbors. That is really what this film is about. This is a horror picture. This is not a political story or a "what if" movie. It's the worst kind of Horror film. It's the kind where the people you think you have faith in and can trust can just look at you and pull the trigger without hesitation. I got the message
