Perfect band to jam to. Everyone views this band the wrong way. It's a lot of fun to do solos over their songs because they're mainly a rhythmic band that has a massive tone. Can't wait for their next release!
I like it. Good raw vocals, beefy, sludgy guitar tone (although I would personally get a baritone 6 for this style and save myself the carpal tunnel/tendinitis). Bass tone really sat well in the mix. I think a lot of people miss the point of this.
I was touring with Ektomorf when they made this video. They had just introduced 8 strings to the band. The sound quality of this studio is shit, for whatever reason, and completely kills the vibe of any artist who plays there. The people who run it are fantastic but the room is weird.
