Crisson is a great place. They are about 30 minutes from me. They sells all sorts of prospecting and metal detecting equipment as well as doing the gold panning out back with a pan or trommels and gold cube etc. Their gold is all lode mine crushed ore so very little black sand. I love it there.

Jason, what a coincidence, I just did a Crisson Gold Mine Nugget bucket (yes, I spent $395.00 for it). My sister lives about 30 minutes from the mine. I wanted to rent the trommel and run a load of paydirt, but I was there in February and the trommel was shut down for the winter. Anyway, my total was 4.93 grams with two huge nuggets each weighing 1.76 and 1.75 grams. Then there were a few smaller pickers and some fines. Fun place, I visit Crisson Gold Mine and the Consolidated Gold mine every time I visit my sister, or is the other way around, I visit my sister every time I go to the gold mines...lol
I get confused too… especially after a few swigs of honey shine 😎

Oh man, that shine looks delicious. Have you tried lighting any of it on fire ? I made a bunch awhile back and was able to light it up. Supposedly that’s when it’s 80 proof or higher. Anyhow, great job on the gold cleanup and I’ll see you on the next one.

I thought that pic looked like Dahlonega gold..lol.i live about 12 miles south of Dahlonega an been going to Grisson mines over 30 years..Dahlonaga gold is the purest gold in the world..just beautiful..we are planning a trip to UP Michigan next year any advice would be appreciated.
