Unless you've already done so, for safety sake you should triple distill ethanol lest you accidentally get alcohol poisoning, Jason. Please take great care with your distilling and brewing. And wear a face mask when grinding. If it's quartz rocks, there's the risk of getting glass on your lungs, and then you'll be in trouble. Just saying, so you take care please! ~Wendi 🌻

@@FlourgoldWizards Sipping water won't make any difference. Did you check the ethanol content? You could be sipping 180 percent and it'll be your kidneys and liver that'll F up. You triple distill using charcoal. I know this because in the past I made whisky moonshine, and it tasted like Talisker. Yeah, I've always erred on the naughty side - but you take care, cuz ethanol should at least be cut with water in the final stages! You know I'm medical, so you do as I say. ❤

@@FlourgoldWizards Story time!!! I still have the equipment, but last all-grain beer batch was 2015. I would have kept up with it but all grain brewing takes most of the day so it was a social thing. We'd set up the smoker and get a brisket or pork shoulder smoking @275 degrees at 5 am, set everything up, have friends show up for lunch (BBQ burgers and dogs and smokies), get the mash going and drink previous batch while this one did it's thing and hang out. After what? 5 hours it was in the primary, in the basement and yeast pitched and the meats were just about done as we finished cleaning up around 6-7pm. Sausage, chicken wings and ribs added during the day at specified times. Great fun. The last one was in January at -20 c (-4f) me and some buddies hanging out while the ladies visited in more hospitable conditions inside (smarter too) with the kid-lets tearing around swapping out men and ladies as kids tested parents will. lol . Big. Fun. BBQ meal, everyone went home with leftovers. Those were the days man. Glad you've kept going. I have the best thing for a mash-tun? (sigh it's been too long already). you know the braided metal cable around plumbing hoses? You cut the ends off, keep the metal braiding and attach to a soldered mess of 90 degree soldered fittings to get I think 7 lines and you have the best sieve for the mash in the cooler ever (too fast for what you are doing). My absolute favorite brew was something called "milds" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mild_ale "Until the 1960s mild was the most popular beer style in England". I don't care about fact checking lol. I wanted to say in the 60's they went for less alcohol 3.5% beers and you could drink all day and barely be buzzed before the 90's XXX 7.1% ice! days. Well I have a recipe for a brown ale 3.6% avg that tasted (in a good way) like mild coffee and chocolate and was my best brew ever. I've been doing home brew since 96. sadly after that beer batch in 2015 and 2017 wine most people moved cities and was too much effort to do alone. Sadly I don't bother anymore (except smoking amazing meats, those I keep for me! lol)

Jason stop chugging the moonshine 😂. That’s a unique still you have there. I didn’t realize that you were going to put so many different ingredients in there. You made a honey beer and distilled it into a honey liquor 😅. You should invest in a better fermenter. Cheers 🎉🎉🎉

Those last 3 little specimens you could have given them a light acid bath and that would have removed all the dirt and the gold left behind all attached would. Have been worth a small fortune because it would have been unique..
