We got to love dear old Rigby for finding your gold hoard, but you did awesomely, Jason! Makes me and my gritty preteen daughter want to go down and try our beach. Jason, you and Rigby have yourselves a really awesome gold season! Many thanks for what has been a terrific video, saved to our playlist! Best from Wendi and Molly.
Beach Beach Beach Beach Beach!!!! Wooo! I see how slick that setup works and wonder if the big VDR sluice would let you do double or more of the material, but then it is a roll of the dice how far you have to walk to find a deposit. Hmmm, I wonder if you could add an "e-bike conversion kit" thing for bikes to your cart to help make it easier to walk with. You could move more weight with less effort. Just a thought. Clearly a quad with a trailer would be ideal, but I doubt you are allowed to do that.

Rigby for the win in finding the spot to dig. And you can't argue with the results you got once moving into those "rocky-edge line". Kudos Jason on all the gold!
Our family had a cottage on Lake Huron for years. I remember black sand from beach clean up in the spring. We had sand bars in shallow water that moved and turned durning the spring, summer and fall. Winter would put everything back to where it was the previous year, except for radical changes in water depth. Have you ever sampled the sand from the sand bars, especially the ones that turn during the year. I was out in the Kewenaw Bay, inside Rabbit Bay that had a nice sand bar and also one on the other side in a old settlement outside of Lance that had a county park facing north with a sandy beach about a mile long. I just thought that since these sand bars are churning most of the year there had to be a time and place where the heavy stuff (gold) accumulates. If I still had the property I take my auger bulb planter that I welded up with 4 ft sections of threaded Rod compliments of Detroit local 636 pipe fitters (it fell of the truck). They like my government jobs, I’m an engineer and always gave them a set of drawings for them to crumple up and throw into the corner of the office. They drink PBR too.
Well that was fun. Rigby found an awesome spot but what I think is most awesome is that your new system enables you to reduce the weight and volume of your equipment for those long hauls. Heck yeah! 👍⛏
Hello from Australia, your very entertaining. For your sluice with flour gold floating ontop of water we use rinse aid (dishwasher cleaner no foam but sinks gold) .
Great day at the beach ! The 3 amp pump , and 30 amp battery seem to work great 👍. I am guessing that the 3amp is a wide open full blast pump ? The slower speed that you pump would be a lower amp usage ? Maybe 2 amps ? Nice smile in the pan 😀 😊 !
I'm going to be traveling the North shore of Superior in the coming week. Have a pump and battery on its way and I'll be looking for those black sand beaches along my trip! Thanks for the Great Lakes shore videos. I'd have never thought to look. 🤘🏻
Awesome brother I wish I could get to our beaches half of them washed out already pretty much like cliffside's most the way around the north east side of Ohio thanks for sharing dude awesome really enjoyed this one 👍🇺🇸✌️
I owned a forest for thirty years in Taylor County with a lot of glacial deposits. You could find silver ore merely by looking for it. Magnetite was everywhere (common in Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin) . I left 10 pound chunks of it in the forest. At the time, I wasn't interested in it! Similarly, I found handfuls of semi-precious stones along the Lake Superior shore in Superior, Wisconsin.
@@FlourgoldWizards I have only recently been viewing your video. I love it and your dog, Rigby! By the way, my brother, Jeff has the Yellow River meandering through his property outside of Bruce, Wisconsin, southeast of Rice Lake. Might be worth a look.
Have you ever tried Lake Michigan? Ok I have a pump question for you. Do you use that particular 1100 GPH pump on your aluminum powered sluice? Also where can I get a speed control switch? Awesome video!
That 1100 gph is a little mush for my aluminum one . Lake Michigan hasn’t shown me nearly as much …. Speed controllers can be found all over the internet for about $10 👍🏻✅

It might be different across the pond, but the black sand I find on my beach is like 90% magnetite. I know people don't like to use magnets while prospecting because gold can get trapped with the black sand, but with some water and stirring, or one of those magnetic seperators, you can avoid that. Even if some do get trapped, it could still be worth it. It would be really cool to see that sluice running just sand and gold, with the black sand removed. That would put a smile in pan in a hurry :)

Just watched this video of yours waiting for the snow to melt here in E Idaho. I'll be working the banks of the Snake river just across the street from my house to test the new equipment I have. I have a package deal that fills all my outdoor pastimes, all within a very short walking distance Hunting waterfowl. Fishing for big Bass and monster Trout, and gold! C'mon Sun!
Really like that sluice. Light weight and does the job for you. Beach mining is a definate different way of mining. Not sure I have your patience to work all that very fine black sand and gold.Very nice clean up, Rigby found the perfect spot.😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
I finally was able to get some Great Lakes Gold! Your videos had me chompin at the bit to head up north, so we did! Had a blast and filled the bellies with Smelt, and even found a little color. Hope to bump into you sometime brother.
Dood! It is awesome to see you and Rigby together in action! I'm not gonna be one of those "know-it-all RUclips commenters" but I will say that when working with fine gold like this, those small pebbles and rocks tumbling down the sluice run can and do dislodge gold from the riffles. I know this to be true from (1) Jeff Williams and (2) seeing it happen during extensive testing of Gold Cubes and other prospecting equipment. It is also recommended to do clean-ups more frequently as your gold is literally battling the black sand for position: a place to lay down. I only say this because I want to help you be even more successful in your golden pursuits! Much Love to you and Rigby from La La Land, California :O)
I agree 100% !!!! That run was more just to test how much material we could run through it with that heavy black sand …. Turns out it can really handle a lot ✅ Next time i go we’ll have a classifier!!! Thank you very much !!!!🐺😀✅
So far I have not found much at all but microscopic flour gold on the beaches on Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. You got a really nice spot there. Amazing. I think I would be making camp there. lol
Love your latest Video. Just like being there on the Beach with Rigby and you. Last year I did a lot of testing with the full size VDR Sluice Mat from Infinity Prospecting. You caught some amazing Gold but as you know, if you had classified it, it would have been even better. My testing last year showed that without classifying down to at least a 1/2 inch mesh the bigger rocks will disrupt the Vortex and Noticeable Gold will be lost. I would classifie down to at least a #8 mesh for the Beach sand. Job will done Jason!
I agree 100% !!! Even 1/2 inch would be quite suitable for the water flow needed to clear that heavy black sand. That VDR mat is very effective 👍🏻 Thanks Kurt ✌️🍻
Jason you make me laugh. Rigby good job finding the gold. I have to climb over a two hundred foot cliff to get that kind of gold. But I have fun and my cell phone does not work there. Yea. Be blessed and hug your dogs and beautiful family. Thank you

I'll be working the banks of the Snake river just across the street from my house to test the new equipment I have.
I have a package deal that fills all my outdoor pastimes, all within a very short walking distance
Hunting waterfowl. Fishing for big Bass and monster Trout, and gold!
C'mon Sun!
Sounds great!
Great video I had a few theories on the beach mining and what you found falls right in place loved it
We love when a plan goes well !!!!
I think a stiff metal rake would move those small rocks out of the way to make access to that great material easier😎😃✨
Probably would!!!
A nice, elegant system. More portable than what I have to use. :-)
Just a little….🤣🤣🤣✅👍🏻
Rite on ,Rigby definitely has that Golden touch. Awesome.
Thanks Gibby!!! Rigby is the best !!🐺👍🏻
Do you ever look in the pump?
Not yet 😀👍🏻
Size of equipment and portability factor is key indeed. Coupled of course with capture rate. Well done Wizard.✌️😎
Agree 100% ✅✅✅👍🏻🍻
Really like that sluice. Light weight and does the job for you. Beach mining is a definate different way of mining. Not sure I have your patience to work all that very fine black sand and gold.Very nice clean up, Rigby found the perfect spot.😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
There really aren’t many other options for gold around here so we might as well get good at what we have !!!! Thanks Chuck !!
I would be curious if you rerun the tailings if there's any missed gold.
There are always a fleck or three…. 👍🏻
That was an awesome spot! Hope Rigby got something special for that! Great set up, looked like it ran well, and all that GOLD😍
Rigby always gets a little something…🤣🐺✅
Surprised you didnt weigh it...great video again jason!!!!! I learn something new every time! A big thankyou to you and Rigby!!!
Much appreciated!!!
Wow some really nice beach gold! And nothin beats having the pay dirt right next to the sluice
Got that right…. Its hard enough walking on dry sand much less carting around pails of it !!!!
Always have a blast coming by fam. Keep on having fun getting that au. Gold Squad Out!!!
Thanks Jason ✅👍🏻✌️🐺
I finally was able to get some Great Lakes Gold! Your videos had me chompin at the bit to head up north, so we did! Had a blast and filled the bellies with Smelt, and even found a little color. Hope to bump into you sometime brother.
Smelt is the real gold !!!! Im glad you found some gold !!!! 🐺😀
Great to see you back in your element. Super clean out! 😄👍🏻🍻
It’s good to be back there!!!!
Turns out it can really handle a lot ✅
Next time i go we’ll have a classifier!!!
Thank you very much !!!!🐺😀✅
So far I have not found much at all but microscopic flour gold on the beaches on Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. You got a really nice spot there. Amazing. I think I would be making camp there. lol
Oh we’ll be camping there alright….🤣✅✅✅🍻
Nice Kobe Rigby!!! Awesome beach gold!!!!!
He’s the man !!!! 🤣🐺
Thank you
200 ft ??? Yikes ✅
I'm way behind on viewing! That was a great find Rigby made! Nice system you've got now for that sand! Beautiful day and thanks for sharing!
We’re gonna use the heck outa that beach system!!!! Thanks for watching and commenting Rick ! 😀🐺✅
Nice run you had. Would love to find a beach like that.
Process of elimination!!!🥵✅🤣

You need a 🍺after listening to oldies for 4 hours.✌️
And some earplugs… Rigby has horrible taste 🤣🤣🤣✅
Wow. What a great day out on the beach. Rigby found some great deposits. I don’t know how a dog can always find gold like that… maybe you help a little bit… I hope he got an extra beef stick for that.
He always gets a little something…. 🐺😎👍🏻✅
Jason, awesome honey spot. That light weight battery is the bomb. What a great video. 😊👍👍👍😊
I cant imagine carrying another lead acid battery around!!!!

I’ll take it !!!🤣🤣Thanks Allan ✌️🐺😀
I need some waders like that. Where did you get those?
Fleet farm!!
The layers were amazing, and then you hit the 3inch rock layer...was fun to watch.
PBR CHEERS 🍻
Would love to sit there for a week lol
That beach always serves up a different dish !!!
Pabst 🍻
Looked like a really awesome day..No blanket needed for Rigby.
That black sand warmed up like an electric blanket!!!!
Well I’m glad you listen because the gold does tuck under the rocks
For sure ! It’s a little more work but well worth it!!!
@@FlourgoldWizards yes that's so true
