  • G'Day, many thanks for having a look at my video. Today we're going to experience my discovery of The Walkaway Gold Mine. I had a Secret Map that led me to this fabulously rich high-grade deposit. Also, I'll show you a bit about the Australian bush, it's not all about the shiny stuff. This video is more than a decade old, way before 4K HD, but you still get the fever! OK, please Subscribe, Like and Comment as I have more fun and games for you. Cheers ... PS ... Oh sorry I had to upload this video for a second time because some bits were lost in the first upload. Very sorry to lose your comments, please do so again! CYA

I want to say thank you for your amazing videos. I’m binge watching them! Absolutely fascinating. Love the “how to do it” and the way to approach researching with methods etc. always interesting to watch someone dig a nugget out of the ground but the how to do it 101 knowledge is the true gold. Love the way you respect the environment and wildlife as well. Really love those bonus segments. Thanks again. P.

Hi PC, many thanks for your Comment, and insight! Yes M8, I get bored seeing people did .1/grammers, worse is seeing trash getting found! Guess that's what you get with those that don't look for their own gold. Ok, sure, when a new machine comes out, it's wise to use it to get the bits others/yourself couldn't hear ... I could of/should of made a career out of doing just that (like a new machine comes out what, every 2-3 years?), going back to my old patches ... But I have to say, I get depressed when I go back to areas that I've hammered ... Give new country on a lovely winter's morn, I feel alive! Ok OK ... Enough ranting ... Cheerio, P101 ...

So refreshing to watch a true Prospector in action someone that's not making video to sell equipment for the suppliers and claims to know everything there is to know about prospecting even though they have only been doing it for 1 or 2 years it seems that the more followers they have the more.they believe they know.

Hi GV, many thanks for your comment. I appreciate you pointing this out, it is illegal to use machinery on a lease ... unless it's your own, or you have contractual rights with the mining company. I too have leases and agreements with mining companies thats why I know how difficult it is. Might be a good idea to point out to people in some vids that even with permission from a mining company that you can't just jackhammer, blast etc where you like. Each location, method and amount of soil moved etc has to be approved by the mines dept first. Otherwise people might start doing this everywhere. Just a thought. Some very good stone in your vids and good work finding them.

But more importantly, I like the thrill of the chase. BUT ... digging a hole is good because you know exactly where the gold is. Oh, and also ... I didn't want to have a 15 minute video of me digging a 2 gram nugget. I have to condense all my years of prospecting into a watchable format. Hope you cross-over heheheheheee.Cheers ...
