Thanks KD, appreciate your input Mate. Yea I know, just have a go, suppose the Bushwhackers of old live on! I've heard stories of a couple of guys, one goes and befriends the prospector, and says "I know of a patch, come with me" ... And the second guy moves in and fleeces the po' prospector's camp whilst he's away ... This was happening in Leonora a few years ago ... Like with my Rat, they are ever-so-friendly! Cheers, P101 AKA GG ;-)

Hi, another great vid. We may have accidently stumbled on the pink parrot a few weeks ago while exploring areas of our 40e away from our camp. Hole in the ground with a fence around it and full of water. 4 pink galahs sitting on the fence. Rehab nearby was looking good. Also I am not sure if those birds are Red Chats as we have always called them red capped robins. Beautiful birds. They seem to like sitting on our woodpile. We also had an unfriendly Willy Wagtail that objected to us. Kept up a real song and dance and swooped us a few times. Must have had a nest nearby. We do enjoy your videos as they are much more than just detecting and digging. We don't mind catching up with fellow prospectors to have a chat but would never work an area they are on without being invited.

G'Day Ian, thanks for your Comment, I appreciate it M8. Hey good detective work! It looks like recent work at that patch, it was me however, I walked around and scrapped a few noises, nd dug a bit before I filmed. I called this chap a rat because the next day he showed up at my camp, by following my tracks, hey no sweat. But he then proceeded to follow all of my tracks, and the final straw was when he followed the track I had made like an hour before, parked his quad bike a hundred metres from my truck and started detecting. I could hear him scraping the rocks with his coil, I can not imagine doing something like this, been in the bush many decades and have met people like this, thankfully most are respectful and give others space, and their peace and quiet. I remember the Mt. Four Acre strike back in the 1990s, the whole town was out there, there was gold everywhere, and a free-for-all, when it was over there was a mountain of trash everywhere, and looked like a war zone. ... OK well that's different. Ok! Cheerio ...

@@prospecting101 so still a lying title, to get clicks, ("rat stole my gold") and still a deceptive narrative, we can judge your character from that...including a misplaced sense of your entitlement to what really belongs to everyone...we get the picture thanks...
how's this for a different narrative...the ground should be either pegged or pending ground, you should not be there if it's pegged...maybe it's pending and the guy keeping an eye on you and the ground is the person who has paid up money to apply for it, maybe he wants to be sure you dont use mechanized equipment such as generators and jack hammers to get to the deeper gold which belongs only to him... maybe he is looking for the person who drags around a motorized dolly mill and leaves their tell tale signs of rock residue all over the country side... i have yet to see any of you "story tellers" say up front that you are on vacant land or pending land to explain to viewers that you cant just go where you like...if you dont say that then are you really teachers and informers, or are you just encouraging criminal activity...(to leave out the important information shows a lack of respect to people including the so called "rat").
