I know what you mean about the flies JB. Just had a week out bush and they were relentless from Sunup to sundown 😝. Did some night detecting and found some bits on ground previously walked over, so I'm a convert to night detecting now ☺. Drove up through Mt Augustus and Gassy Junction a while back and there's some nice looking ground up that way.

@@JBHELI my missus and I would one day before we pop off would love to ride in a helicopter and try out our luck at detecting that would fulfill a man’s dreams as my best dream yet is snoring along side me now and believe me cobber that rotor blade makes sweet music compared to my Sarah lol you are the lucky man lol nah just kidding over here with all my heart ❤️

Finally got back and finished the ep. Great vid. It is giving me some encouragement to get out and give it a hot myself. Heading out to Coolgardie and Kalgoorlie to check out some of the mines that have probably been picked through 4.5 thousand times. Hiring a GPZ 7000 i think it was. Any tips?
Awesome mate!! That's certainly prime country. Go slow and steady, and try to identify where gold has already been discovered before.....people leave lots behind.

I use a Led Lenser.....but it does interfere with the coil somewhat. If you can find an old halogen light it would be much better. 👌
