he said “i love you” but tony said that howard never even told him that he liked him 🥺 i wish they kept this in the movie so that tony would’ve known that his dad actually did love him
If this was in the movie, then that would cast a completely different light on Howard. And the spin-off TV shows would've had to work on this scene to show how Howard could've had this secret side that he rarely showed others.
this comes off a lot more organic and real, people never quite know how to say or formulate things when theyre really important, it always takes a few attempts to get the message out.
Wish this was what made it in the film. In the actual film, he say "What is and always will be my greatest creation... is you." That syntax is way too heightened and unrealistic for an off-the-cuff rambling to the camera. "You are...and always will be...my greatest creation". More natural, honest in how it comes across, and thus more heartfelt.
Unfortunately something I’ve notice is that parents of past generations don’t show affections but that doesn’t mean they don’t love there kids. They just show it in ways they were brought up.
@Adam Paliath probably why they didn't use this version of the scene. At least with the other scene, it is consistent that Howard is a bad parent to Tony when he's actually faced with the kid instead of implying that Tony is remembering Howard to be a worse parent than he actually was.
Howard just wasn't overly affectionate. He loved his son. He was probably just overly critical of Tony because Tony was so much like himself in his younger days. He saw Tony making the same mistakes he did and wanted him to be better.
Good scene, but I can see why they cut it for the other scene. This one went a little over the top in mooshy. The other won was heartfelt and he didn't need to say I love you, just you're my greatest creation.
A lot of people on here saying I wish they would have put this in the movie when in reality if they did, it would have just went right over their heads. Smh. Most people, self included don't pay attention to something as emotional as this until it's showed as it is like right here in this youtube clip. Then it hits home.
Sometimes reminds me of my dad when he's not being a drunk guy and giving me a hard time makes me want to launch a career make enough money and don't want to go with him or my mom ever again not even a message will ever bring me to that level.
Howard Stark 0:41 one day you'll figer out. and when you do you do something bigge. Live your life and know it. your the future 1:01 you know I'm most proud of? you. my son. your are. and always will be. My greatest creation. I love you ❤
I like this version better. It's raw. No music. Just someone leaving a sincere message. The original one is also good tho. But if i was directing things i would leave this scene in with no music and use the soundtrack they used for this scene for something else.
Yeah, it was hard for man like him to let his emotions show, he had to show it in this manner which is why he had a dysfunctional relationship with his son.
@@bhimsinghsherry It is a great scene indeed but in the same movie Tony had said that his father was cold and calculative and that he never told him he loved him. Also in Homecoming he had told Peter that his father never really showed him support, so in my opinion it would be different from what he remembered from his childhood.
@@mariatavoulari2195 I think he didn't show it publicly . But kept it to himself. So it makes sense for him to put a recorded message to express his feelings
Just like Howard left a message for Tony, Tony left a message for Morgan
Wow

he said “i love you” but tony said that howard never even told him that he liked him 🥺 i wish they kept this in the movie so that tony would’ve known that his dad actually did love him
Tony said his father never said he likes him before he saw the recordings
Tony told Howard "Thank you for everything" and hugged him on Endgame
Subtleties are the thing in the MCU.
After all, "love" is at its best in action, not in mere words.
Im so annoyed and sad this wasn't put into the final cut..
Well It needed Thanos wiping out half of the Universe first for a final meeting between Howard and Tony
@@KYoung-kj7hr why
@@condensation5184 Because if Thanos hadn't won in the first place, adult Tony would not have time traveled where he met his dad.
Well it's a bit awkward because he had a whole camera crew in there. Would be too emotional
This version sucks... dude are you kidding me.... lmao
howard leaves a message for tony.
tony leaves a message for morgan.
my dad leaves a message for me. :')

nawww this scene sucked
This actually brought some tears to my eyes I really wish this was in the original cut of the film
nawww, this scene sucked
The poor kid actor awkwardly trying to lie limp
i never thought about that
That's why probably they didn't select this scene

too bad howard's actions didnt correspond with his words.
Parents can seem that way. He pushed Tony to greatness hard and true greatness was achieved. Was he wrong?

I agree.
They should have kept this. Very touching.

I’m sorry
I heard 3000 in my mind

marvel needs to stop making me cry
0:42 "one day you'll figure it out"
Tony's Pyjama looks like a little motion capture suit
If we knew that sooner they'd be testing us for mysterio
They had this in the novelization! It always boggled my mind why they'd cut it out.

No dislike, the spirit of Marvel
This is very obviously inspired by Walt Disney’s plans for EPCOT
Aww 😊 it was so cute how he held tony they should have actually put this scene :|
The actual scene seems more realistic to me because it seems more like Howard’s style: blunt
Tony’s Pajamas resemble a Mocap suit.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH 😇🙏
This is cannon idc
Tony would cry
Sometimes reminds me of my dad when he's not being a drunk guy and giving me a hard time makes me want to launch a career make enough money and don't want to go with him or my mom ever again not even a message will ever bring me to that level.
Maybe I'm the only one, but I like the one they used better. Reminded me of my old man.
if they had showed this scene tony would’ve had a mental breakdown
This was after "Potts" visited him in 1970, so Tony had has this message better.
currently sobbing tbh
This scene is very powerful than the original
I wish they didn’t cut this scene.
I will not cry...
I'll get the tissues
This should've been in there
They should have left it in😭😭😭
I hope this is the one posted. In the endgame, he did say there's nothing he wouldn't do for Tony. Sorry for spoiling this for some people
Kinda reminds me of Walt Disney
I think that was the point tbh
this scene would have been great to see in the movie throw in some music to go with the scene would be great too
This hits different when tony hugs him at the end of endgame
I like this one better

feels more wholesome carrying him during the message
This cut is better in My opinion
Why the actual fuck are deleted scenes better than the real cut, this needs to fkin stop. This is why Thanos did nothing wrong.
Whose cutting onions 😑
Whole city power
Ahhh if they just but this scene in the film but noo they want uss to cry
I don't understand but sah quel plaisir
someone should do an edit with this one and replace the original

I dont know but time travel is fine for me.
Perfect scene but a little out of character for his dad
yeah but Howard really did love Tony so It does make sense why he would've made a video saying I love u instead of saying to Tony's face
Yeah, it was hard for man like him to let his emotions show, he had to show it in this manner which is why he had a dysfunctional relationship with his son.

Yes..who do you expect to be the baby, Steve Rogers?!
ISTG MARVEL YOU HAD ONE JOB, FIRAT YOU DONT GIVE THIS SCENE AND THEN YOU DONT GIVE THE SCENE WHERE TONY KISSED SPIDEY ON THE CHEEK IN ENDGAME
the absence of the phrase "Im limited by the technology of my time" make this alternative seems a very anti-climatic tbh...
