I am an identical twin girl who had identical twin girls at 38. I had 3 ultrasounds due to some bleeding but was assured there was no issues it’s just a part of my uterus was shedding thinking that I was still having my monthly period. When I was 3 months along I had a lot of bleeding very bad cramps so I thought I was loosing the baby. My husband was there and the nurse said I need to go get the doctor so we thought for sure I was loosing the body and I started crying. When the doctor came in he looked at the screen an said I hope you have a lot of money and we both said why what is wrong? He said well you have two in there! I said to him son of a bitch I don’t believe this I’ve already had 3 scans prior to this one and we only heard one heart beat. Well the was he explained it was if you are an identical twin girl there was a large percentage that I could have identical twin girls. We chose with all our kids not to find the gender of them because we wanted to be surprised. They came out by c section and the were ounces apart and look so much alike we put baby bracelets on them pink pearls and One shot pearl for baby A and two white pearls in the pick bracelet for baby B.
Congratulations on your twins girls. Finding out you’re pregnant with more than one baby is such a shock. You had a worrying time but I’m so pleased everything was ok for you 💕

I had my son at 35.. he is two now... it is definitely different having a baby older in age... I had a daughter at 19 and it just feels different when you are older🤷♀️ congratulations on your twins.....

Wow! How amazing, i had twins as well but they were always the same size, boy and girl, they are 18yrs old. Did you ovulate twice but 3 weeks apart? Im 44yrs old and we are struggling to have another baby with another 8 losses since our other daughter was born June 2020. Congratulations on your new pregnancy and cant wait to hear what happens with your twin pregnancy journey. 🥰

I am an identical twin girl that, at 38 with no fertility had identical twin girls. I had 3 ultrasounds due to bleeding issues, they only saw 1 baby but the baby had a really loud heartbeat each time. Then at 3 month I started I heavily bleeding an so they did a vaginal

At 12 weeks I had an abdominal scan where they saw the second baby, measuring 3 weeks smaller

Hi congratulations for the twins. I'm pregnant with twins but I want for the first scan they told me I have twins it was 8 weeks but they didn't saw one baby. I went other one for 10 weeks still not see one baby for now I'm 12 weeks but not going for scan yet but I believe God all will be there ❤

Hi, thank you 😊 they had their own separate sacs. They weren’t conceived together and they aren’t identical.
Wow! It's amazing 😊 I'm asking because at my 8 week scan it showed two sacs but one is smaller, and smaller one is empty. So the smaller one isn't viable but I almost wonder!! I'm happy either way but yeah ❤️ that's such a miracle

How many weeks were you
I was 12 weeks when they saw the 2nd baby. It was a few weeks later they started to realise the babies were conceived 3 weeks apart ❤️
We're Geriatric at 35 in Australia 😅 I was 38 too 🙏 First time Mum
It does make me laugh, geriatric 🤣 when they first said it, I was like “excuse me?!” Haha. Oh well call us whatever, it seems more and more women are having babies in their late 30’s and 40’s now and I’m here for it! Obvs! 😂 x
If you want to get pregnant dont rely on apps to tell you when you ovulate.
Because if they were correct then i wouldnt be pregnant right now.
If i was using the app to get pregnant it would have taken far longer! I ovluated on my period apparently going by my due date! Crazy

im 7bweeks, went for my scan today, so the doc first thought im pregnant with twins because theres two black spaces forgot the term...one you can clearly see the ons baby the other one is not so clear....the doc concluded that, that space was for baby to grow into..i dont knw, im quite anxious and cant wait for my next scan in four weeks time
Hi Samantha Congratulations 🎉. The first time we saw our twins was at 12 weeks and twin 2 was clearly 3 weeks smaller/younger.
