Found out today that il be having twins after I had been sick for a while, went to a doctor and they did an ultrasound only to be told that it is two heartbeats. I legit almost fainted. It's my first pregnancy at age 32. Please keep me and my buns in your prayers. I am so scared.

I has twins with my first pregnancy at 21 years old. It was Pre-ultra sound days and both were heads down and I delivered naturally. God Bless you!!

I lost my 11 week old daughter last year to SIDS and I just prayed and prayed for a miracle a sign ..ANYTHING to keep me going.. I didn’t want to be in a world without my sweet baby girl and a couple months later I was pregnant with twin girls!!!!! My girls are now almost 8 weeks old 😊 it’s been Such a blessing and they are my light at the never ending tunnel of grief❤️

I cried when he told me 37 years ago I was having twins and it wasn't tears of joy it was tears of terror but it didn't last long i had boy, girl twin's so much love they gave me.
LMAO!!!!! that sounds like me! When I found out, my bf and the staff were all celebrating. I was so horrified that the nurses ended up doing a group prayer for me. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ok tho. I'm coming around a bit more each day.

This seems to be the case for alot of ppl. My mother gave birth to fraternal twins after a miscarriage with her first.

I had twins 7 months ago. When they told me it was twins I broke down and cried saying I can't do this. My husband was awesome and said , you can and will do this. They are amazing and perfect. Alot of work but amazing

To Lauren: my mom was pregnant with triplets and had a miscarriage before that. She tells me that Pregnancy with multiples gets so much extra help and so much extra attention from doctors (since they are rare) that my mother said the pregnancy felt a lot safer than 1 since you have so much more smart eyes to help you along the way.

I found out I was having twins at me 12 weeks appointment BY MYSELF. I was screaming “no no no no no no” over and over again. Now they’re 18 months and literally everything. I have an older boy too. I wouldn’t change a thing. Congrats!!!
This took me back to when my husband & I found out we were having twins. It was an answer to prayer. We felt all the same emotions. We now have 5 (12, 8, 8, 6 and a 10 month old foster baby we’ve had since birth). I was always told that God gives twins to those who can handle it. It will be amazing and tiresome in the best way all at the same time. Congratulations! 💗💙
Having twins was such a blessing for my family. I was very fortunate to have them natural and no complications. I did have extreme nausea and fatigue, but, I ate like a dang horse! Love you guys, can't tell you how excited I am for you!!!

Absolutely!! I have an identical twin sister and it’s always made me feel a little extra special. And I thought it would be awesome to have twins but I did end up having 5😊 All separately, lol.

I have miscarried two of my five pregnancies. I totally understand the mixture of emotions. You want to be excited, but you also are guarded because you don't want to get your hopes up only to be sad again. Thank you for sharing this sweet moment. I love how real you guys are. ♥️
I feel you! I still remember my appointment four years ago when we found out we were having twins... My first reaction was i only want one, then i said my life is over my third reaction was i can never ever go grocery shopping again! The boys are almost 4 en our eldest is almost 6. You can do this!!

Welcome to the twin club Lauren and Arie!!! I have fraternal boys (22 y/o now), Cameron and Gabriel; Gabriel looks just like his father and Cameron looks just like me. But oh!!! The fun you will have. I want to share their 21st birthday message with you:
Today I have the honor of wishing not just one, but two of my wonderful boys, a very happy birthday. All birthdays are special but twins’ birthdays are uniquely special because these birthdays celebrate the arrival of two individual persons whose lives were created at the exact same second and then born only minutes (3) apart.
21 years ago on this day I was blessed with the two of you. And with that blessing came so much fun and so many smiles: dressing you alike, hearing those sweet giggles, watching you communicate and understand each other’s toddler gibberish, watching you graduate milestone grades four times together and within mere seconds of each other, and just last week, watching you both stand with the same dear friend at his wedding. Really...the only not fun moments I can remember were the twin chicken pox (started the same day, same hour)- that was TERRIBLE!!! And the five, long years you both thought you were professional wrestlers - and not tag team partners!!! I was certain any day was going to result in a broken bone and/or the loss of my sanity.
You are not the mirror image of each other so it’s easy to tell you apart, but you’re both wonderful, young men with kind and loving hearts.
Happy 21st Birthday Cameron and Gabe!!! I love you more!!!!

I had twins and it's fun. The first 6 months is a little hard because they eat at the same time. But it's worth it. And good family helps. I had them little early which is normal. Hospitals know how to handle twin pregnancies these days. They will be a double blessing. God knows what he's doing He knows you can handle it. It's meant to be. Double the Love. 💟💟
Twins are the best, but I'm biased since I am one, it's like having the perfect best friend right from the get go!!

Congratulations!! I have 10 month old twin boys and while I was absolutely terrified when I was pregnant, they are THE BEST!! It truly is such a miracle when you look at those 2 little nuggets smiling up at you. It’s going to be wonderful!

I am a identical twin and my mother who was also a identical twin said of all of her children, we were her easiest. We always played together and filled the house with years of love and laughter. I have an identical twin! When I gave birth to my 3 girls all single births I cried because of them having to be born alone. I felt guilty about that. I couldn’t imagine! In 3rd grade our teachers separated us to find our own identities. We cried and searched for each other everyday and did not thrive at all. Being twins is our identity! My twin has a dance studio and dances her heart out. I have two left feet and have enjoyed sports my whole life. We are polar opposites but have the twin bond. At 43 we still talk our made up twin language that nobody can understand. Comes in handy sometimes! I’m so so so excited for you! Twins are the best! 🥰 we are the oldest of 7. My mom said we were the hardest the first year but then after that we entertained each other and didn’t require as much attention as a single toddler. Anyway! I could go on and on! Biggest thing is to remember being a twin is their identity! They will figure the rest out! Good luck and congrats! You are beautiful parents!

I had pretty much the exact same reaction when my doctor said that there are two. Congratulations! It’s such a wild ride. The first year was exhausting, but watching them interact and love each other makes all the challenging times worth it.
It is possible that they could be identical instead of fraternal twins. I have a twin sister and we always thought that we were fraternal because we were in two separate sacks like your babies are, but after taking OB in nursing school we decided to get a DNA test and it turned out we were identical. Identical twins can be in the same sac, or in their own sack, they could still be identical if there are two placentas. It all has to do with when the zygote splits. The only way you could be 100% certain that they are fraternal is if they are boy/girl twins. It probably doesn’t matter much to you guys now but my sister and I were really excited when we found out lol. Congratulations, twins are the best! ☺️
Same here! I was told my twin girls were fraternal but after I learned they could be identical and they looked the same, we did the at home DNA test and sure enough they are identical!

I have twin girls who are 2 next month (like you, it was a complete shock). It’s been the hardest 2 years of my life but my goodness, it’s also been the most rewarding, fun, challenging, incredible, most beautiful and most amazing two years of my life. Worth every exhausting and stressful moment. Yes, you have to do things slightly differently to single baby parents - e.g when they start walking, it’s sooo hard taking them out on your own as they’re off in every direction - but honestly, twins are the best and I would never change my two for anything. It’s just incredible ❤️

Can I make a suggestion keep your twin babies in the same crib as long as you can it keeps him more comforted and they sleep better I always kept my twins next to each other in the same crib and to this day they are still best friends I would put them several inches apart and then I would go in to check on them and they would be spooning it was so precious

Congrats! Di-Di actually doesn't mean fraternal! I have Di-Di twins and they're identical! All fraternal twins are Di-Di but a percentage of identical twins are Di-Di as well. So there's a chance they could be identical too! You won't know until you know the genders or if they're the same sex, you'd have to do a blood test to find out if they're identical or fraternal.
Thank you! I was just checking to make sure someone said something! I am a Di-Di twin. And my parents were told because of the two sacs we were fraternal. We went 30 years believing we were fraternal until we had the twin zygotcy DNA test. Turns out we are Identical 😜

Yes! Twins! I have a twin its such a blessing to have someone who you live with and is the same age. My parents say that we were a pain but at the same time we had each other so sometimes we left them alone. I love you guys and I hope everything goes smooth
I also was pregnant with twins but lost one at 11 weeks. It was measuring a week smaller than the other one. Still have one healthy baby in pregnancy and due in may. So I wish you the absolute best !
