Hi friends! Today I am sharing my swatch and review of the new Holo Taco I Need Space nail polish collection for spring 2024! We have 5 new polishes in a variety of finishes from iridescent flakies to "crushed holo" and more - I'm pretty surprised at the color story of this collection but I really love it! I just love to see a space theme that manages to not include a blue, purple, or silver, I think this one is so creative and a fresh spin on the theme! Great video as always!

I love this non-traditional take on both Valentine's and Space themed collections. I passed on the box but bought all 5 shades. Most excited for Solo Mission and Orbite Me. Love seeing new, unique formulas outside of her bday releases. I thought I preferred collections with the same formula but between this and the After Party collection, I'm sold on multi-formulas!!
Yeah I enjoyed the one formula collections but I really love to see the range of what they can create!
I didn't even realize it was a valentines collection until i read this and that makes me actually like it more
Alien infatuation is the sister of Spirit Fingers from the Safiya Collection and I CANNOT WAIT to see them side by side on my nails. Love the warm tones for this, even if the box reminds me a tiny bit of meat😂❤

I am so intrigued by these colors! Not what I expected but I actually like them even more in this color scheme haha!
I’m a big fan of mixed formula collections for the same reason - something for everyone!
While I don’t see myself gravitating towards these types of colors until fall, they’re beautiful - I’m Rover It is going to get a ton of time on my fingers this year!
Ooh yeah maybe that's why I like them so much, you know I LOVE fall polishes hahaha
one thing i do appreciate about Holo Taco's super glittery formulas is how easy they are to remove compared to other glitter polishes
Oh yeah! Glitters with a colorful base are usually much easier to remove!
I ordered the collection, and I love the colors. My favorite is Waste of Space.🖤
You're right about it feeling like Mars. This collection is specifically Mars themed. The box is meant to look like the surface of Mars. Even if it does look like Lady Gaga's meat drass. 🥩😂💀

This is by far my favorite holo taco collection - so good to see more complex “indie” style polishes. I adore I’m Rover It and Waste of Space, very much my colors. Also, with the hair, makeup and outfit your look is SO on point today and perfect for the collection vibes!!

Cristine said it was Mars inspired! So, you were on point! I think this collection is very different for HT & it's been *interesting* watching the reaction from the fan base. Honestly, it's the first collection of theirs I would be tempted to get. 😅
Haha I can definitely see the vision!! I haven't heard any feedback about it because I'm avoiding browsing social media until I finish the new SJM book LOL but I'm curious to hear what people think!

I wasn’t impressed by I’m Rover It when it was first teased, but omg it is actually gorgeous. Love how saturated it is and that pink base with the orange to yellow shimmer is giving sunset
Yay! This is the kind of collection I've been waiting for from Holo Taco! A beautiful mix of finishes and different types of glitters, not just the same fornulas in various shades.
Definitely impressed with all of these!!
I work in the space industry and the reddish theming makes me think of infrared astronomy. Space observatories often image in the infrared spectrum because it lets us see through dust to stars that would be otherwise obscured and it also lets us see back in time, so to speak - the light from the earliest stars has been Doppler-shifted to become red and thus can only be imaged in the infrared spectrum. JWST's NIRCam images in the infrared spectrum and is responsible for some of the most famous images we've gotten from it :)
Your swatches are. So good! It's the first time I realized the one polish was red and not orange.
I'm actually pretty surprised all the pics I've seen look orange/copper! It's definitely a red tone for me!

I bought this collection immediately and I totally thought about you when I saw this drop!! Like these are definitely a very unique twist on a space themed polish collection
Definitely a fun twist, I'm really glad they went with this theme tbh because it's so beautiful and it matches my current red obsession LOL
I was surprised by how much I loved this once I received it. My fave was Waste of Space.
2nd fave was Orbite Me but with Freezer Burn on top. It becomes this wicked cool purple.💜✨️
Alien Infatuation was my favorite for being as you said a gray-taupe with a lovely green pop of color.
I saw someone say Solo Mission looks like “sparkly hot dog” and now I can’t unsee it 😂

I actually love this collection way more than I thought I would. The iridescent flaky is stunning. I really want them all. I'm gonna be picking these up.
I really like this collection! I picked up Solo Mission (in part because of how gorgeous it looks mattefied), Waste of Space and Alien Infatuation. As a deliberately single girlie, I love that it was a different take on Valentine’s Day and also a different take on the space/galaxy theme. I’m totally a sucker for cool purples and blues, but it’s nice to add some warmer colours to my collection!
I'm in love with Waste of Space.
I also love when their collections have a mix of formulas. I picked up alien infatuation, the other shades are gorgeous but I definitely have similar shades in my collection.

Yeah I'm honestly surprised at the website pics because I think the colors lean more red and brown irl for sure! I like them even more than I expected to tbh!

Totally agree re Crushed holo formula. We've had the barista collection and now this burgundy colour. Super ready for blues, greens, purples in the same formula!

Holo Taco never disappoints with their reds and it is my favorite of this collection.
I thought this was a really cool and unusual collection from holo taco - between this and the Safiya collab, it seems like they’re branching out more and more, fun to see!
I never comment but I (somehow) only just recently realized how warm toned I am and that's probably part of why I don't always love how polishes look on me compared to the promo photos, and I just wanna say how much I appreciate all these reviews! I am a bit darker but we're similar amounts of warmth, so I consistently get a better idea of how colors will look on me from you. Plus, your lighting setup is better suited for showing off how they'll look in everyday life.
Also we're both fans of the unloved ugly-pretty colors like Not Pressed, lol
Waste of Space really looks good with the three coats!
I bought this already (bc I buy every Holo Taco release) but I’ve been waiting for your swatches and review cause I knew you’d be doing one! Your swatches are more realistic than Cristine’s so I get a better feel for the polishes from you.
I was so excited to see this release from holotaco!! I love that they're going for some more warm tones. And experimenting with formulas! I thought Alien Infatuation would be my favorite but Waste of Space really came alive in the swatch.

I avoided I'm Rover it bc the promo pics made it look so close to mooncat's whiskey sunrise that i couldn't justify getting another and i was focusing on colors i didn't have, like Alien Infatuation. also, love your shirt!!

As usual, I am so grateful for your reviews. You have changed my mind on so many polish shades , especially those that don't necessarily photo well in their promo photos. Rover was a hard no for me because it was too warm toned and too orange, but seeing how beautifully red it really is is making me think about buying it. 🤔

I love space and love warm toned polishes, so I love most of these polishes and the vibe of the collection overall. Alien Infatuation isn't my cup of tea (greenish grayish colors look really funky with my skin tone), but the formula is fun!
What a great collection. My favorite is alien infatuation. I love the gray with the green shimmer. I think it would also look totally cool as a magnetic. All that green shimmer pulled in the middle and the gray around it would be so amazing.

I am surprised by how much I loved this collection.. I ended up purchasing the limited edition box bundle. I think my favorite might be the grey polish with the iridescent green yellow shimmer. So so pretty!!!

I really like this colour scheme. HT has a whole lot of cool toned polishes so I'm happy that warm skin tones have this fun collection! The box reminds me of marbled steak rather than space hahaha. I believe their royalty sale is in April, so I'll wait it out. I'm not into collecting boxes so nothing to lose for me lol

Can't wait for this collection to show up in my mailbox! I'm dying to try Alien Infatuation (#greengang), and Waste of Space looks so dang cool. I don't usually reach for the warm shades, but I think I'm Rover It and Orbite Me might go into heavy rotation. The only one that doesn't really excite me is Solo Mission because I'm not at all into neutral tones, but I'm willing to give it a shot!
I think those flakies really make it more exciting than the average neutral! I'm curious to see what you think of it in person!!

I *love* the traditional cool toned galaxy theme, but this take is super fun and I think it's great. It has all the Mars vibes, but also reminds me a lot more of the colors found in Hubble and Webb photos of nebulae where stars are "born" since there's almost always some gorgeous deep warm browns and reds. It's a great take on the theme 👽
I see this more of a Mars collection for sure instead of general Space. I bought Waste of Space and Orbite Me…and I might have to get Alien Invasion too. Lol

I loved this collection and I got a kick out of the “meat” box. I don’t do skittle manicures so that isn’t a factor but I enjoyed the variety of formulae and the warmer palette. I also appreciated how gorgeous these polishes were matte. I don’t do matte very often but it’s nice to know that it is an option.
