I approve of your stong hint to Mooncat to release whatever collection Space Oddity came from. It's officially my fav Mooncat polish!
Right?? We NEED it. Specifically in green, and orange, and turquoise. And every other color too 🤣
Dragon scales, and supervillain are in this same finish! LOVE both of those as well!
Wholeheartedly recommend Mooncat's shade Millenia for anyone who wants an actual galaxy on their fingernails, definitely my favorite polish of all time! It's a black base with a scattered holo and a magnetic pigment that's prominently a spacey blue that shifts to a beautiful magenta. Seriously gorgeous

Velociraptor shocked me, it’s not typically a polish that I would go
for and I actually only purchased it to complete my MC collection…and it’s become one of my absolute favorites! It’s stunning in person.
I’m a grandma of many, so I didn’t think I would be attracted to these polishes, but WOW, they are all gorgeous!
I find “crelly” formulas so unique, especially since a lot of the ones I’ve tried self level and really transform between 1-3 coats. I can’t get over them!
I absolutely love a good crelly polish! Especially when there's glitter in it haha
Crelly polishes are great. My favorite crelly polish is a Crystal Knockout but MC has really nice crellies
The real metallic finish is not something you see that often anymore. I actually like it 😊 I know some don't appreciate the streakiness, but if you're careful it's not that bad, I think.
Dragon Scales & Supervillan also have the same formula as Spaceoddity. I own Dragon Scales and it's the polish that I get the most compliments on. I just purchased spaceoddity & supervillan today, excited to wear all 3 of these polishes together!
Into the Wishing Well is & Moonfairy are two absolute favorites of mine from mooncat!

I would also like to nominate Ghosts of Hecate as a must. I absolutely love that nail polish.
And I think in my opinion the more textures and combination of finishes is the most unique type of nail polish.

Ghost of Hecate is one of my top polishes of all time.
I love shimmery chrome finishes using large particle shimmers and I want every color to be made in this finish! I got Bluebird Lacquer’s Rollin’ with my Chrome-ies during a PPU and am now obsessed. Foil, metallic, chrome and shimmers that appear lit from within are my favorite.
I said the same thing. I also have that bluebird lacquer polish. OH MY GOD. OBSESSED.
I got a bunch in August. Just did cuticula from another planet today, which is a really cool shimmer as well, but now I really want to put the bluebird back on. Lol.
Pomegranate Seeds has such a Persephone and Hades vibes, and I love it! Mooncat rocks!🎉❤

My favorite Mooncat polish is Sealed with a Hiss. It’s SO gorgeous and photos do not do it justice!
I would say textured polish is the most rare finish. Like the sneaker texture polishes you Stan. ❤

Moonfairy is absolutely spectacular! If you don't have it get it!! I wear it pretty much all the time! I can't stop looking at my nails whenever I wear it

SIN EATER!!! Yes, you’ve talked about it before but it’s worthy of mentioning way more. It’s such a perfect hue, texture, shimmer, and finish. It’s my go-to polish.

even though you mentioned *not* to mention them, i think polishes that mix in like 20 different things are the unique ones. so for example a jelly multichrome with a shimmer and holo and reflective and iridescent flakies. and to go even extra, lets just optionally say the magnetic version on top of that.
i dont remember off the top of my head, but there's several mooncat, kb shimmer, rogue lacquer, painted polish, cirque, or ILNP polishes you've mentioned being "something you've never seen before" in your collection, so i think those would qualify as unique enough.
Flight of the Monarchs reminds me of an Arizonian sunset. I'm guessing that the sunsets in Las Vegas are very similar a sunset vibe. Mooncat is absolutely awesome! Thank you, as always, for your review and swatches! As far as the most rare (or unique) polish finish, I think, is a ghost shimmer with reflective glitter. 😍
For me, thermal crellies are super unique! Like having the perfect balance of flakies, speckles or glitter and then a good thermal change on a smooth formula, that’s a very unique polish for me!
Velociraptor is such a cool polish. I think that's the one I'm most excited to get with my order!

I made my first mooncat order last month thanks to you. 😆 I got a few colors from the Alice in wonderland collection, and WOW. I was so impressed!!! Ohhhh and Dragon Scales. It was one of those polishes where I looked down at my nails at least a hundred times during the day just to stare at it! So I definitely picked some up right at 9am for today’s sale. 😅 I’m glad I ordered Space Oddity!! I’m so excited for it.
I need to stop watching these videos… but I won’t. 😂 Now I want pomegranate seeds and space oddity. And now that I’m looking at them, I want to see a gradient with them. Ugh. Love your eyeshadow here, by the way!

Mooncat is one of my fave brands for nail polish their shades are to die for, they just came out with a power puff girls collab and the colors are pretty good. I have a bias towards their green, red and purple shades, I looked at my collection recently and all I saw was the hulk 💀

Love Mooncat - I would recommend Boa Constrictor if you don’t already have it. Perfect for fall/winter! I think the crelly finishes are very unique and really enjoy wearing them. One of my favorites is “The Blair Witch” from Red Eyed Lacquer that I got through PPU. It was my intro to crellies ❤

If you add a coat of Velociraptor over a black base, you have the perfect Halloween mani. I prefer it with a glossy top coat but matte is beautiful too. :)

Through your channel is where I found this brand and immediately fell in love with the unique colors and their story. And shortly after I got my first set their formula became the one I love the most. Dark Horse was one of the main reasons I bought the Midnight Rodeo collection, and I remember how much Flight of the Monarchs jumped out to me.

I’m wearing Flight of the Monarchs right now! Used it for monarch butterfly nail art. I agree about midnight drive, I’ve had it for almost a year and just wore it last week and wow I was missing out haha! I have a lot of mooncat and ordered about 10 more this morning lol I had my eye on a few and was waiting for the sale. Great picks!
My last order I got antivenom, Mercury's tears, Fallen angels, and heart of stone. You've got to get Antivenom if you love green. It's a very pale almost white base with a green shimmer. I'm in love with all of the polishes at mooncat and it was so hard to pick which to get.

I got my first order from Mooncat today. My nails are natural and look amazing polished with Fake Halo. My daughter has Mermaid Bait. Mermaid Bait is an amazing colour too.
I wish people reviewing the nail polishes would mention the colours are most vibrant in natural sunlight. We walked outside into the autumn sun (we live in Australia) and the intensity of the colours are so much more powerful! The effect intensifies.
I think shimmers with contrasting colors are the best!!

I didn't think of using Catfished as a topper. Looks great. I found Moon cat at the end of last year and have been so impressed. Flight of the Monarchs has to be one of my all time faves. It's so beautiful. I'm so glad they bought out the Oddities collection. I think they all need a collection around them.
I hadn't thought of using it as a topper, either, but it was already sitting in my cart for my next buy. I have a lot of turquoise, but there's no reason not to get one more!

I have to agree with a lot of your top 10. There is nothing else I've ever seen like Velociraptor. That entire prehistoric collection is my fave. Midnight Rodeo collection is right up there too. I put everything I wanted in my cart last night so that at exactly at 9 am EST I could speedily check out. Just in case something I wanted sold out. 🤣

I picked up 3 of these polishes: House of Hades, Flight of the Monarchs, and Spaceoddity. SO excited for them. But I also ordered 16 total 😅 To be fair, 5 were for friends. I let them join my free shipping.
As for most unique/rare, maybe full coverage flakey polishes? I think that's what makes polishes like Spaceoddity feel so special.
Crackle formulas! That was such a fun thing this year when Holo Taco released one. I haven’t seen that since the early 2000’s and had the OPI ones in every color I could find.
My favorite Mooncat polish has to be Mortals Be Warned. I'm surprised it's not on your list. That purple multichrome is just perfection. Thermal is the most unique in my opinion and one that I always grab whenever I find one. I would love to see Mooncat drop a thermal, all of their other mixes are so perfect I think they would kill it.

Moonicorn, Velociraptor, and Dark Horse are my favorites. I actually have all of these except the purple creme. Thanks to your videos. I became a Mooncat addict as well. I had a couple from them, but when you started swatching, I was so hooked. They have the most beautiful and different combinations. It's like they said let's just throw it in, and who knows. Then it's amazing. Maybe the eeny meeny miny moe it. I don't know. But whatever they do it works.
Haha agreed, they definitely go with such unique combos! And now that we've seen some of their "rejects" in the misfits collection, I want to see more of what they made that didn't get approved to be in a set haha!

Recently I bought a thermal jelly with rainbow glitters. The thermal switch was from a light brown (almost cream) finish when warm to a dark brown when cold. I think that’s the most special, rare and cool polish I own. 😍
Ooh I've never seen a brown thermal, that sounds gorgeous! And great for when you can't decide if you want to go with a light or dark brown haha! Which brand was it??

I got six polishes… ok one is technically the top coat but IT’S SIX BOTTLES SO CLOSE ENOUGH! I got Flight of the Monarchs, Bermuda Triangle, House of Hades, Pandemonium, Strangeberry, and Speed Demon Top Coat ❤
My favourite Mooncat polish (and finish!) Is "Raaawr!" from the Prehistoric collection. The shade of purple is perfect, the flakies are perfect, the way it dries down matte and looks almost like a little speckled easter egg, and it LASTS so well, I can keep it on for longer than any other polish, just occasionally redoing a matte topcoat to keep it sealed in. It and Siren's Deceit are the two mooncats that I'm halfway down my bottles with, but Raaawr definitely is very unique compared to the rest of my humble collection.

I don't have any Mooncat yet, but boy I remember that Dark Horse! Just gorgeous! I love your look in this video! That bad necklace is so cool! As far as your question---I would just love to see lots more duochromes like KB Shimmer does. The ones that go from black to red or pink to gold, etc. I see very few in over the counter brands, and I just love them! And GOOD GLITTERS, toppers or otherwise! Love a good glitter and we need more!
Ooh yeah. Honestly all the indie brands I've been using lately are spoiling me so much for drugsfode/mainstream brands. I'd really love to see those bigger brands do more unique finishes! But surprisingly I think OPI has been doing some funky ones so hopefully the other brands will follow haha!
