I love watching real og makeup artists doing their makeup. It’s normally the exact opposite of what most beauty influencers do. As little product as possible, many thin layers… so good and you know it will look pretty in real life, not only on camera
And they aren't trying to sell you something every single second. And you can see just the true expertise these OG makeup artists have over the beauty influencers who have no formal training, they just do their own makeup.
@@jess.0J I agree, plus they don't keep saying "I'm obsessed" about a new product every second. It's about the right products, but ultimately we need the techniques to apply them with. Erin is a real artist who has genuine love for the art.
Erin, you manage to be both incredibly glamorous and delightfully down to earth at the same time - a stunning combination underscored by your friendly and articulate descriptions, your buoyant enthusiasm, the respect you show for artists and art, and your beautiful authenticity. As an 80s teen, I gazed at Linda and pawed through Kevyn’s books with wonder. Thank you for this excellent video celebrating both. 🙏🏽💕
I found this book at Barnes and Noble when I was 17 in the 90s when I was a insecure teenager & didn't know much about makeup. I learned so much reading them. Those books were my beauty bibles. I actually cried when Kevyn Aucoin died in 2002. He was my favorite makeup artist. 💄💖🎨💅
The way a Erin's 30 minutes video just flies... I love how you teach, I learned so much from you. So grateful for you to put out such amazing informative content. Watching your videos makes me fall in love with my job all over again, they just provide so much more excitement with all the extra details and information you add in.
When I was like 15, I saw Linda Evangelista at Schipol Airport. It was like 1998 so no phone cams or social media. This was post supermodel era. She wasn’t instantly recognizable but I went up to her and told her how big of a fan I was. Told her how I was also from Canada. All she said was “mm hmm” and kept walking. She didn’t look at me or acknowledge me. It was hilarious. I just Homer Simpsoned myself back into the bushes and waited for the embarrassment to dissipate 😂
She was probably like that because she did have stalkers. One of them threatened her and her son. So she was probably on her guard when a stranger approached her.
@@erinparsonsmakeup she was cool and casual and makeup-free and traveling solo. It sounds like I hated the experience or something but I loved it. She’s Linda f’in Evangelista and that’s exactly what she delivered
I think this has been your best video so far! I'm just a Dude that admired your creativity. In this video, y😮our respectful & loving references to Kevin were a nice revelation into your natural kindness. Thanks for being such a talented, inspiring & inspired Artist.
I’m a 90s girl, graduated in ‘97. I wasn’t into makeup at the time but I loved old movie and books. I vividly remember buying Making Faces at Barnes and Nobles. I’ve gotten into makeup as a creative outlet the last couple of years and I was so excited to pull out this book out. Kevin Aucoin was truly talented and way ahead of his time! ❤️
I thank God, for the fact that I can put automatic subtitles, because I follow you from Italy, and I think that your culture and passion for makeup go far beyond being a make-up artist❤
This was such a fun edit for me!! I have been carrying around my copy of Making Faces for over 20 years so I truly enjoyed every moment of it, thanks for including me in this video celebrating Kevyn Aucoin, Erin! ❤🥳
You are literally the best advocate for Scent Bird. The way you describe the notes and fragance is so chic and poetic that I listened to it intently like it was just another one of your regular content. Love it! 💟
this look is what I based my "everyday" look on since these books came out! you can go lighter or heavier depending on your needs or what you like but WOW its stunning on EVERYONE and goes with every look!!
This type of makeup look has always been my favorite go-to; not necessarily "dramatic", but defined liner and lashes with a touch of color on the lips, while the rest of the makeup is more of a defining/highlighting/contouring the shape of the face while avoiding the flat/featureless "pancake face" look.
Erin, what i love most about your videos is the artistic aspects. Sometimes others in the beauty space take make-up wayyy to serious in the sense that it should be this way or that way or a right way or a wrong way. But your videos and your channel and you show that makeup is fun, its an expression of art. I learn so much from your videos and have so much fun watchign them too. Thank you Erin!!
This is incredible!! As a teen I would go to the book store and sit in a corner with Making Faces for hours. I remember when Kevyn was on some show on E! doing makeup--I don't know why, I don't know what show it was but I remember the three looks he did to this day. What a genius. Thank you for recreating this one! I love your content so much!
If Mr. Aucoin was still here, he would love your work. I am sure of it. I have his books too and I always thought he was an amazing genius! This look is so beautiful, classic, clean and soft. I appreciate your tips and tricks and have rolled some of them into my own makeup routine so thank you for the inspiration! And I just bought a new KA eyelash curler LMAO!
Omg! 😮 A new Erin video!! I've missed you so much. I got my fix from watching your shorts repeatedly and your IG stuff. Take any break or time you need, just know you are loved and missed until the next one. ❤❤❤❤ Also, your videos are so awesome and educational that they are absolutely worth the wait. Welcome back.💋💋💋
Thankyou so much! I’ll finally be able to explain what’s been going on. I moved into the mountains so I’m fully set up again. I do post on Tiktok almost daily 😊 sadly shorts over here is only a minute and I struggle to get my content under 2 min lately 😅
The way your nose completely transformed in what appeared to be 3 seconds with a little swoosh of color is serious mastery. Would you be willing to do an in-depth tutorial on nose contouring? I too have a crooked nose, and it's always been my biggest challenge. Love your videos, Erin!
I’m so obsessed with 90s makeup, women just looked so soft, natural, and sophisticated. It wasn’t overdone. Definitely going to try this makeup, I could never figure it out before ❤️
what I love so much about this, is your detailed expression of techniques you use, the references you pull and the non-viral products you work with - it's so educational and lovely to see. your passion for makeup and technique always shines and it's so inspiring to me. I wear makeup all the time but I always learn so much from you, and I'd love to thank you for that!
I saw Kevin Aucoin, Linda Evangelista and you holding that iconic book in the thumbnail and clicked so fast! I'm so excited to watch this. I was a fashion magazine obsessed teen in the 80s all the way into the 90s when I was in my 20s. I pored over each magazine, knew every model name, read every word, and scrutinized every pic. Kevin Aucoin's work was the icing on the gilded cake for me. He is very much missed.
As a makeup artist of over 20 years- you never cease to inspire me to rethink the craft!! This was absolutely stunning- and Kevyn was an absolute master. I am running to find Taupe blush that had been hiding in the bottom of my kit. And THAT LIP?!!!!! Deceased!!!!❤
I remember watching George Michael’s Freedom 90 as a lil kid and instantly fell in love with Linda. She was our standard for beauty in the 90s- hands down.
Some of the best videos on RUclips to me are people sharing things they love and have an obvious deep personal history with and passion for. The whole experience of telling stories, giving advice, pulling references from the books, the uplifting joy for your craft is so wonderful to watch. Loved ❤
I remember noticing when makeup changed in the 90s as a teenager. It was very noticeable and it wasn’t until I was a grown up person and found out who Kevyn was that I realized it was he who caused that sea-change. What a talented, amazing human. And as is so often the case, he was gone too soon. I assume this crowd has already seen it, but if you haven’t, “Larger Than Life:The Kevyn Aucoin Story” is an amazing documentary about his life and genius. I highly recommend it!
Kevyn was brillant and so sweet .He created an Edie Sedwick Look with his famous smokey eyes and pale lips .I so much miss Kevyan .He was so one of a kind artist! Love your stories !

Linda has always been my favorite super model….I still love seeing her all of her looks. Thank you for sharing your talent with your subscribers. Have a great weekend!
I had drinks with Kevin once in West Hollywood. He was fantastic, so much fun . Sadly he passed not too long after that night. I was obsessed with his work. He was and will always be the Master. RIP Kevin❤️😘
I had making faces as a young teen and i was obsessed with that book, i had no idea who that was at the time but i fell in love with the makeup looks..i lost that book and now as a 42yr old i wish i had it again..every time you bring that book up it just brings back memories of sitting in my room reading that and wondering what I'd look like all made up ❤ stunning look on you, beautiful as always Erin
Those books also made me become a make up artist, Linda’s picture is also my favourite. The level of nostalgia and joy this created is immeasurable. Thank you so much 👑❤️🌸
I remember learning who he was, and loving his looks! He changed the way we do makeup to this very day! Thanks Erin!!! I'm so impressed by your knowledge, and the sweetness of sharing your love with us; and teaching too.
Kevyn was such a titan in the makeup space with his talent and his support of diversity not just of all skin tones, but of all sizes and body shapes and such. Nobody has been able to fill the space his passing has left behind and while there are still a few legendary makeup artists still out there, Kevyn's passing really felt like the end of something special.
I’m your #1 fan!! YOU have changed MY life, I’ve secretly loved you and tried many of your looks on my clients!! You’re legendary!! My hero! I talk about you all the time so if your ears ring all the time…..it’s me. 30 years in the industry and you, out of allllllll the people in the industry YOU have changed me and how I do makeup on others! My parents got me Making Faces in 1997 for Christmas and it was a huge part of my life for so many years( and the second book too!). I’ve got so many fond memories of trying to recreate those looks late at night on the weekends with my best friend.
This video is absolutely inspiration, not only to get those books but also to recreate this look. Not only does both Linda and Erin look amazing even Kevin's male friend this may truly be a universal makeup look. ❤️❤️❤️ Much love Erin keep being a sensational makeup artist.
I remember Kevin Aucoin's books from my teens I was just so in awe at what he did. Love seeing you back on RUclips doing more long form makes my heart so happy!!!
I heard of Kevin and owned his books and I loved his looks for Janet Jackson (was my favorite, but she's gorgeous!) And of course Linda and Naomi ❤ I can literally say that he was the reason I got into cosmetology and have been a stylist for 30 plus years 🎉 I love our industry ❤️
My cousin bought Making Faces and brought it to a family gathering. We poured over it (1997). At the time everyone told me I looked like Juila Roberts, so I copied her look in the book by bleaching my eyebrows. I actually liked it and think about doing it again just to see, especially now I have grays in them. Great video as always! When they get posted, it is like an event. Unfortunately, I am at the bedside of my 17 year old (Friday, HBD, Amelia!) while she is recooperating from open heart surgery. We watched the video together and both agree that we need to 1) step up our make up game, and 2) Erin is absolutely goregous without make up, too. Thanks for brighting up our evening during a challenging time. ❤
I didn't know about the Art of Makeup! Thank you for shining a light on it. I'm completely obsessed with his other books. He would have been so amazing on RUclips
Linda Evangalista was and still is iconic, I remember her name being synonymous with art and style alongside Naomi. I never met Kevyn but had heard stories from my favourite drag artist who did, he will forever be a part of drag's success, a legend who made legends.
Your approach to makeup at large is well beyond what one might expect. (You’re right, Linda is a pro, but very interactive and knowledgeable. Even silly sometimes). Anyway, you really are very remarkable. Such a fantastic and passionate artist. Also, highly skilled in application, esthetics, fundamentals and such a keen eye for the tiny details.
I'm not a makeup person, nor do I really think thr looks in the book are that special. *BUT* that's why I love watching your videos. You're so passionate about makeup and anyone with a passion like yours is so interesting to watch/listen to. It amazes me how you can look at what I find to be "just" an ordinary makeup look and be so mesmerized by it. I learn alot from watching you, and it makes appreciate makeup alot even if I don't know anything about it.
I love that you love Kevyn Aucoin! It was SO fabulous to be alive and watch these iconic make-up artists create beautiful looks on already stunning humans! Everyone and everything was fabulous and over-the-top and it felt like a Renaissance where artistry was front and center. Erin, you look so much like Linda with this make-up look that I had tears in my eyes! I mean your own “face/canvas” is already perfection, but then we watch you magically Gild the Lily and you just look like a goddess/muse that someone should sculpt or paint! Adore this video! Well done!
I'm glad you said something about tightlining causing dryness, because you are 100% correct! Each upper lid has around 30 meibomian glands, and each lower lid about 25. These are where your tears come from and your lids distribute them to keep your corneas healthy, moist and comfortable. Tightlining essentially stuffs these glands with product so they can't do their important jobs! I wish more people understood that they shouldn't tightline!
No, the meibomian glands are sebaceous, meaning they put out oil, not water. They make "meibum" which is the eyeball equivalent of sebum. This oil lays in a thin layer over the layer of water on our eyeballs, and keeps the water from evaporating. If the ducts get blocked, your eyeballs will be dry as the Gobi desert 100% of the time, and it's the freaking worst. I know all this because I had, like, debilitating dry eye for decades. All the drops weren't helping at all (they can't, they're water based) and doctors seemed clueless. I did some serious research, and finally learned that my meibum was too thick to ooze out of my meibomian ducts like it was supposed to. Basically, my ducts were constipated. You could also artificially block your meibomian ducts with eyeliner, I'm sure, but I wasn't doing that. My meibum was poor quality because my diet was poor quality. I didn't really improve it, but I learned that taking plenty of fish oil was enough to "thin" my meibum. I also did meibomian duct massages every time I took a shower (the heat and stream help), and my crippling chronic dry eye went away went away in under a month. I know nobody asked for the life story of my eyeballs, but maybe somebody needs to hear this information? Chronic dry eye sucks Satan's booty hole.
@itzakpoelzig330 having worked in ophthalmology for 15 years, this may have been your specific issue, but there's more to it. Oooh boy, you should see tightlined eyelids at a slit lamp; they're horrifying! Tears, that come from the meibomian glands are comprised of water, mucin, lipids, lysozyme, lactoferrin, lipocalin, lacritin, immunoglobulins, glucose, urea, sodium, and potassium Glad you found ways that work for you to control your brand of dry eye--it sure can be awful.
@@hellokristi You seem like you might be a person to ask about this. I read somewhere that "emotional tears shed in sadness, contain different chemicals from tears that are just lubricating the eye." Do you know what's in the sadness tears?
@ThatTimeIFell basically, the good tears that lubricate the eye under normal circumstances have a mucus layer to get the tear to stick to the eye, a water layer, which keeps the cornea wet and clear, and an oily layer that keeps it from evaporating. Tightlining inhibits the oily layer by occlusion the meibomian glands, which allows more evaporation and, in response, reflex tears (the water layer minus the other good stuff) are produced/overproduced in a desperate attempt to keep the cornea hydrated. Emotional tears are similar to reflex tears. There are some claims that these tears also contain hormones that other tears don't have enough, but according to the AAO, the jury is still out on that one.
I had the pleasure of talking to Kevyn Aucoin. He was a very nice and kind man. My most treasured possessions are my autographed books from him!! I knew his PR Rep and she hard him sign them for me! He was ahead of his time!

Thank you for recreating Linda!!! She is my fashion hero!! And no better person ON EARTH to do it than you, Erin 🙂 Even though I regrettably don't do makeup, I do own every book you featured! Kevyn Aucoin is the ONLY!!
Kevyn was why I got into doing makeup. My Auntie Paul (drag queen friend of my moms who was dying from AIDS) was a fan of his & based how he taught me to do makeup on Kevyn's principles. The first things I bought when I moved to Toronto for Uni were all of KA's books. Just so many sweet memories from my childhood revolve around him.
Erin, you are so talented. This look was incredible. I was a 90s teen so Kevyn's makeup looks were what shaped how I did my makeup, even all the way over here in Australia. It's still what I gravitate towards to today. It's my dream to meet you and go through your vintage makeup collection and completely geek-out on cosmetics history.
It's so amazing to see someone so passionate about something The way you convey your love for makeup makes all of your videos a magical experience I'm enchanted Honestly I could happily watch a video of you reading the groceries list ❤
I'm always in awe when a makeup artist uses the eyeshadows in a really light way (almost imperceptible) and then when the makeup is finished you can tell it's vital and it makes such a difference. I'm always putting more thinking I'm not wearing enough and then regretting it when my "natural" (not natural anymore) makeup is f*cked up😂 this is such a good tutorial!
You are a true chameleon with that lovely face of yours and such talent with the makeup. Kevyn Aucoin wasn't just a makeup artist, he was a magician and now you have those skills too. God bless him in Heaven.

Thank you for honouring the legends, it makes me feel emotional, I always thought he seemed very special, and I am excited to see his legacy be passed on, also WOW, the final look, unreal!
I love watching real og makeup artists doing their makeup. It’s normally the exact opposite of what most beauty influencers do. As little product as possible, many thin layers… so good and you know it will look pretty in real life, not only on camera
Yes! 🙌
I remember working at the mac counter when we all heard the news. It was such a sad day 😢 he really touched us all
Gorgeous!!! So true Erin, this is a makeup 101 to save for the future!
Same experience here! 💖
Exactly my story. But I'm a man.
I have every book he published. I liked the way his beauty was inclusive. He used models of all ages and colors.
The way a Erin's 30 minutes video just flies... I love how you teach, I learned so much from you. So grateful for you to put out such amazing informative content. Watching your videos makes me fall in love with my job all over again, they just provide so much more excitement with all the extra details and information you add in.
Thankyou! I was so worried it was too long 😅🫶🤗
When I was like 15, I saw Linda Evangelista at Schipol Airport.
@@pobstrel I was a 15-year-old obviously gay boy. I wasn't a threat lol
The homer reference 😅 I will admit she has a presence, sort of intimidating 😮
@@erinparsonsmakeup she was cool and casual and makeup-free and traveling solo. It sounds like I hated the experience or something but I loved it. She’s Linda f’in Evangelista and that’s exactly what she delivered
Never meet your heroes 😉
That C6 face and body trick had my jaw on the floor the whole video! It looks so natural, and being so fair - this is a game changer!!!
I’m so glad I was old enough to see the Master Kevyn Aucoin on Oprah many years ago. He was such a humble beautiful person.
I have scoured the internet to find this episode. I remember I watched it then but I’d love to see it now. There’s a small clip in the documentary 😊
I watched it!!
Yes! MUA weren't mainstream. He and Alexis Vogel were the Mario OGs
Me too! I realised then that I needed his books. I got all 3.
Who remembers when Kevin did Carrie's makeup in SATC when she's does the modeling gig? Her makeup and the whole look was sooooo good!
First book I bought when I first started as MUA for Chanel in 00’s. I have both of his books….can’t recommend enough!!!
He has three 🤩 and there’s even a fourth that talks about his life. I have such an obsession 😂
The world’s best editor 👏 I adore you! Your love of makeup shows in every edit you do!
I don't know if it's just me - but the warm tone of the eyebrows with your gorgeous amber eyes.... It's such a Vibe! I ❤ it!
I appreciate that! I kinda wrecked that one brow but we got there in the end 😅
Also, your videos are so awesome and educational that they are absolutely worth the wait.
0:11 I love love love Kevin A wish he was still with us! He was truly a legend when it comes to make up transformations!
The way your nose completely transformed in what appeared to be 3 seconds with a little swoosh of color is serious mastery. Would you be willing to do an in-depth tutorial on nose contouring? I too have a crooked nose, and it's always been my biggest challenge. Love your videos, Erin!
I’m a 48 year old British mom with an eyeshadow palette/makeup obsession and you are just a joy to watch. So soothing and precise ❤
I worked hard on that thumbnail so I appreciate it helped you to click 😁
As a makeup artist of over 20 years- you never cease to inspire me to rethink the craft!! This was absolutely stunning- and Kevyn was an absolute master. I am running to find Taupe blush that had been hiding in the bottom of my kit. And THAT LIP?!!!!! Deceased!!!!❤
I remember watching George Michael’s Freedom 90 as a lil kid and instantly fell in love with Linda. She was our standard for beauty in the 90s- hands down.
That video is forever etched into my brain 😅
I would give body parts to know what makeup Cindy Crawford had on in that video.
@@tonib9027 I don't think it was Revlon. ha ha!
@tonib9027 Not sure of makeup, but Carol Brown was the Makeup Artist for that shoot.
I really loved that and his other video Father Figure with Famke Janssen 🖤
Some of the best videos on RUclips to me are people sharing things they love and have an obvious deep personal history with and passion for. The whole experience of telling stories, giving advice, pulling references from the books, the uplifting joy for your craft is so wonderful to watch. Loved ❤
I do not wear make up, never have and never will but I was GLUED to my screen. Your appreciation and love for make up is palpable ❤
You speak with a wisdom that comes from experience, I’ve come to really seek that in my social media consumption
Erin I’m obsessed with you for some reason haha I’m a gay male who doesn’t wear makeup and I watch/ comments on all your videos! Ps your sponsors are really getting their money’s worth, you are so genuine and real with your responses, good for you
😁that’s so sweet to say, thank you 🫶🤗
Linda has always been my favorite super model….I still love seeing her all of her looks. Thank you for sharing your talent with your subscribers. Have a great weekend!

Finally 😅 I just moved but managed to film another video today yay!
@@erinparsonsmakeup congratulations 👏 and thanks for the gift ❤️
I had drinks with Kevin once in West Hollywood. He was fantastic, so much fun . Sadly he passed not too long after that night. I was obsessed with his work. He was and will always be the Master. RIP Kevin❤️😘
Wow !! How did that happen?! Would love to hear your story and the details ❤❤
I know they still sell them on the website and only 25 bucks! 😍
I have both books and I love them. Like you, I have been obsessed with Linda Evangelista’s makeup and blonde hair.
You are fabulous.I couldn't never repeat that.I'm in my 60s trying to learn makeup. This is so educational.Thank you so much for doing that 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Those books also made me become a make up artist, Linda’s picture is also my favourite.
You are so welcome! I’m so glad you enjoyed 😍🤗
In complete and total awe. SO much passion for everything you spoke and showed us. THANK YOU ERIN!
Thank you for being you and who knows someday maybe I’ll own one of your products from your personal 29:20 collection, that I can cherish and pass down in my family!! My hero!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Erin, I would love love LOVE to see you do douyin makeup, Victoria secret model makeup or no make up makeup looks but from your perspective as a professional, of course 💅💅
I'm dying over this look 😮😊
I also love hearing all your stories about the people you've met and know in the biz.
My parents got me Making Faces in 1997 for Christmas and it was a huge part of my life for so many years( and the second book too!). I’ve got so many fond memories of trying to recreate those looks late at night on the weekends with my best friend.
Kevin literally changed EVERYONE’s life (who’s involved with makeup) rather they know it or not. He just did so much. He will always be a legend 💜
It is an absolutely wonderful day when we get a new video from you and it being a Kevin Aucoin recreation video is just the cherry on top ❤
Aww love to hear that thankyou! 🤗!
🤷🏻If there ever is a person who deserves an honorary masters degree in makeup….is ERIN PARISONS👏💄💋Your work is always so stunning.
You make some of the best content on RUclips - thank you for sharing your curiosity and expertise with the world! 🦋
Well done!
Yay! A new video, I'm so excited 🥰
Finally! I moved so it’s my first chance to do some longform. Missed you!
I had all of Kevyn's books as well, i remember saving up babysitting money to buy them 29:24
I'm glad you said something about tightlining causing dryness, because you are 100% correct!
Tears, that come from the meibomian glands are comprised of water, mucin, lipids, lysozyme, lactoferrin, lipocalin, lacritin, immunoglobulins, glucose, urea, sodium, and potassium
Glad you found ways that work for you to control your brand of dry eye--it sure can be awful.
@@hellokristi You seem like you might be a person to ask about this.
I read somewhere that "emotional tears shed in sadness, contain different chemicals from tears that are just lubricating the eye."
Do you know what's in the sadness tears?

It was quite a bare canvas to start 😅 Thankyou!
Those books changed my life!! Kevyn Aucoin was my hero and taught me how to do makeup.
Rip Kevin. Still the master. The books are beautifully done.
I LIVED for his books. “This was our RUclips” hit me in my 90s feels 😆
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Kevyn Aucoin truly was a master 🥹♥️
Oh! I had all of those books! (little bit of eye tearing, Love him so much) So beautiful and fun.
The only eyelash curler and mascara I use are KA, have been a fan for more than 20 years. I never understood why I loved his curler so much, and when you explained the opening it hit me!!! It really does make a difference. Great video, loved it.
Thank you for recreating Linda!!! She is my fashion hero!! And no better person ON EARTH to do it than you, Erin 🙂
Even though I regrettably don't do makeup, I do own every book you featured! Kevyn Aucoin is the ONLY!!
You look incredible in a black turtleneck! Classic look.
❤❤❤❤❤❤ I NEED more tutorials and beauty history!! You’re amazing and fabulous! Thank you for sharing you’re knowledge and talents ❤❤
Filmed my signature look today 😀 more to come!
The image’s subtle eye crease with the eyeshadows 🫢 omfg Kevyn’s mind. I think I’m just as obsessed with this makeup look.
It's so amazing to see someone so passionate about something
The way you convey your love for makeup makes all of your videos a magical experience
I'm enchanted
Honestly I could happily watch a video of you reading the groceries list

THESE BOOKS ARE MY LIIIIIFE
Edit: Demi as Clara Bow is my favorite one
I'm always in awe when a makeup artist uses the eyeshadows in a really light way (almost imperceptible) and then when the makeup is finished you can tell it's vital and it makes such a difference. I'm always putting more thinking I'm not wearing enough and then regretting it when my "natural" (not natural anymore) makeup is f*cked up😂 this is such a good tutorial!
I was 13 when i bought this book and obsessed over it. I also began working at a makeup counter at Nordstrom at 18 bc of it!!
The moment you took the wing just slightly into the crease I actually said out loud ‘THERE’S THE LINDA EYE!’. You’re a master of your art.
