Been playing Armored Core since its first release on PlayStation. Seems the gameplay has not evolved at all, only graphics. By now gameplay should have had mechanics traversing the environment in interesting ways like use of grappling hook or climbing up structures. We all like cool robot animation. Fans of RoboCop 2 know what I'm talking about. There should have been extensive environmental damage and AC damage with limbs and parts/weapon loss. We should have had stealth capabilities, very long range sniping weapons, maybe particle accelerators that can beam thru stuff in conjunction with using enhanced visuals like thermal, acoustical.or magnetic imagining. Should have had combat in space and moving ships/asteroids. Cooler melee being able to grab things and toss at the enemy or grapple the enemy and tear parts off. Literally I'm seeing the same gameplay from the original game decades ago.
