Really good explanation of the rig you fish and importantly why you use it. Some ppl dont include that and it leaves ambiguity. The easiest and clearest video and explanation of BOTH knots I have watched. I'm moving away from wire for leaders when lure fishing ( UK pike ). Quite simply...thank you for posting 👍.
Good tutorial 👌 I believe that knot is also called the double san diego jam knot. I've been using the single san diego jam with 80lb flouro leader so far so good, but just for piece of mind I'm gonna start doing the double SDJ, thanx for sharing!
Extra knot and I havent had line twisting issues so I havent found a need for them! Plus im not sure if they will effect the action of my baits, especially glide baits.
80lbs common braid for pike in the UK , why spend that money on a swimbait to loose it . id recommend try get some 150lb fluoro as if you ever hook a 20lb+ and it hits the head of the lure heavy , 80lb sometimes wont take it , especially if you forget to check your leader for fray. Fluoros worth the extra money comparwd to mono leader just due to the hardness and the way it frays when damaged so its easy to spot damage
In the UK we fish for a lot of pike and over in sweden pikes the main species. We use 100lb minimum if your using fluoro generally 150lb if you can get a hold of it. 1.pike have a lot of very snarp teeth 90% of people use titanium in uk due to this, they can slice anything under 80lb with ease 2.. Do you want to loose a expensive swimbait because your tackles not strong enough to bend hooks out a snag

indeed it is important that you tie the knot very well super important when fishing for pike and other fishing very nicely done

Another great video so keep them coming!
Nice instructional vid LadyBass!

Excellent tutorial LB!
Hope its of use!
I like the palomar for terminal tackle, easier and will never slip loose.
Nice pike to start.
Great step by step 👌. We need some gear reviews
Coming soon😁
Love it thanks LB.
Great job!
Thanks!
AWESOME VIDEO 🤙🤙🤙WHAT KIND OF SNAPS DO YOU USE??!!
Mustad size 2s and the 100 i think sized spro snaps - both duo lock. I have them listed in the description!
A nice video would be comparing baitcasters for under 150 cad because I know its hard to get baitcasting reels here in canada
I think the power pro V2 is the best braid on the market
👍
Why don't you use swivels at the start of the leader?

last fall i was fishing for Salmon in the river i kept getting bit off so i'd throw on a braid leader then i would get no hits lol

Was it quick?
Second cast of the day💪🏼
80 lb seems like an Overkill
Overkill until a pike chomps on it and you loose your $$$ bait!
