Thanks for stopping by! Never thought of double crimping but havent had this fail yet. Just a week ago I landed a fat 4 foot muskie on one of these. I think melting the end of the fluoro really helps, it would stop even if the crimp slips. Cheers and tight lines!
I don't know the size of the swivels and clasps off the top of my head, You could use whatever size you want I guess. The sleeves are from Offshore Angler and I ordered them through Bass Pro Shops online.
Good vid buddy, very informative! I didnt see clearly but you used double crimping pliers which has a "cup to cup" shaped teething right? Im about to start making these too, goodbye knots and superglue
Thank for the video. I fish manitoba as well ! will give this a go.
They work great for me. I can't wait to try for cats again in Lockport next summer.
Very cool vid. Thanks man,!
Thank you. These leaders work!

Nice demo. I’ve been looking for an alternative to wire traces and this may be it.
They havent failed me yet. I've caught dozens of big pike on a single leader and it might start to fray but has never let me down yet!
Great video. I’d double crimp out of habit but still. Great advice/vid!

Where are you getting those sleeves in Canada? Also what size/number clasps and barrel swivels?

Yup, just standard electrical crimper is what I was using. Don't need a fancy fishing one, just get one from the hardware store. Gets the job done!
