That vest was amazing!! I love that you are realistic about what you see yourself actually wearing. That's been a hard lesson for me to learn as a work from home mom who doesn't get out much. 😂 It's easy to fall into fantasy purchasing especially when it's at thrift store prices!
I just love your videos. No agenda , just a lot of fun. I learn so much about fashion and brands, good materials, well made items, trends, and of course the thrifting when I can’t get out to do the shopping and/or my thrift stores are no where near this large.
Shoulder pads are the easiest thing to put in a jacket. It's no more difficult than sewing on a button. Or you could pin them in. So you could add them to any jacket that had them removed. Also, if you like them larger, double stack them.
Pro thrift tip: You can get a cowl neck top and wear it as an off the shoulder top. Just make sure it's made of a stretchy material and they will look exactly like those super trendy tops we see everywhere now. Plus they are super easy to thrift 😄
The jerserys could be made fall ready if they're layered with a turtle neck underneath and paired with a cute skirt or jeans!
It’s always so crazy to me when RUclipsrs find clothing pieces at the thrift store for like 20 dollars or more then it’s me buying Zara shirts and Nike shorts at my thrift store for like 3 and 5 dollars 😭

literally, where i thrift everything is $1.50 but its only open on saturdays from 6am to noon and its more like the walmart bins

@ieatoil2516 same! I live in Portland in a very touristy area and luckily our thrift prices haven't gone up. there is one that is a less than 10 minute walk from the apartment and the max price I'll pay for things is like, $12 for a nice vintage piece
The cropped full sleeved blouse is great on you. It suits your body proportions and structure. The skirt is easily fall with a black turtleneck and boots:) I like the crochet piece too. That would look good with a denim dress underneath or jeans with a tank.
Love the last red coat! 1950's and 60's style often had those 3/4 sleeves. Great with long black leather gloves, or perhaps let your shirt or sweater puff out from underneath. That always looks super fun and stylish (I even roll up the sleeves of some coats to do that, it creates a interesting effect). Play with it!

The blue crochet shirt! I thrifted the same one in lime green a couple months ago. I’ve just been styling it halfway buttoned with a bralette under it, it’s so fun! Grandma but also kinda hot :)

I think galaxy print will come back, just in a different color palette. More navy and taupe and burgundy than bright blues and pinks and purples. I think it will also be a little more stylized than the photo-realistic version we saw in the '10s.

The blue sheer cardigan can easily be styled a couple different ways: a coordinating tank top, a nude bodysuit, a coordinating sports bra, under a blazer….
