Love that you wore a unitard underneath! I always wear a similar outfit to thrift. No try on rooms needed EVER. As a lifelong thrifter its been a money saver 🎉❤
I think you’ll end up loving the grey blazer! It looks great on you, and grey does go really well with lots of colors you wear! Plus that pop of green in the lining is adorable. 🙂
Just a thought...you really shouldn't assume something marked a certain size actually fits that way, or even is that size. Sometimes things end up in thrift stores because they were mismarked, or didn't fit someone the way they were supposed to. And 'large' doesn't mean the same thing in every brand. You absolutely have to try things on. I can't tell you how many times I've tried on the supposed wrong size, and it's fine. The reverse is true, as well. I've tried on things that were my normal size, and they were too big or too small. Even shoes, though not as often. And sometimes, even if it is marked correctly, you might like the way it fits even better than the way the designer intended for it to fit.
100%! But there’s some things I can just tell based on the bust that it won’t fit me like the green top so that’s why I didn’t try it on. Sizing is super all over the place with every brand and oh gosh especially vintage brands!
AND….i always check other sizes on the racks. People just don’t know how to care for their clothes properly. They put everything in the dryer and shrink the hell out of them. So even though the tag says large or extra large, it could fit as a small/ medium.
7:01 i used to struggle with chest and shoulder/ back acne aswell! Went away when i stopped wearing plasticy tops! Also a basic benozyl 4% bodywash from cerave! Just what worked for me ❤
I was gonna say that grey blazer looked awesome on you. Pop a bright Color shirt sleeveless turtleneck etc and would look great. Grey is a neutral like black add cute jeans sandals and you will rock it. I’m so glad you bought it
I purged all my SHEIN clothing and want to buy clothing that’s good quality and expensive looking instead of cheaping out. ❤ looking at thrift videos for inspo and stumbled upon yours love it
The other day i found the most gorgeous vintage maxi dress that had leopard print and red roses all throughout. It was absolutely beautiful BUT it was 100% polyester. I was so close to taking it home but i hate polyester, especially in Texas summers. So sad, but all this to say that i too am highly aware of materials now and it's so refreshing seeing someone else be conscious of that. I feel it often gets overlooked, especially with fast fashion.
it's great that you're being more mindful about what to purchase💕 the skirt at 21:00 looks cool, i could see people use it for layering bc of the buttons :) and when i saw the grey blazer i immediately thought the fit looked really good on you!! it looks easy to style with lots of outfits too💖
i actually like how picky you are with choosing items, I do the same as well. Sometimes I think that maybe I'm being too picky but being concise with what I am looking for in thrifting helps me so much choose among the sea of clothes with actual pieces that I will love.
Just a side note - I've heard you mention chest acne a few times in your videos. I use La Roche-Posay Effaclar Foaming Gel Cleanser and have found it really good for face and body acne. Calms everything down quickly.
I saw a lot of stuff I would have loved to see at my store, that pink floral trixxi dress I would have picked up so quickly!! Trixxi makes dresses mostly formal-ish. They've been around for a while I remember wearing them when I was a teen
it's so funny how the ads work, you were just showing the top from massimo (9:50) and an ad for massimo dutti came up! also, love how you analyse the clothes to make sure they're a fit for you and your closet
Try Sulfur soap for the Acne. I want to thrift with you. I gravitate to alot of H& M & Forever 21 & Zara . Not wanting fast fashion but pull it anyway. Thx
Just remember, if you love it, and the price is right, the tailor is your best friend! I have brought so many things to mine and have a very curated and customized wardrobe.
wait omg, It just dawned on me that we go to the exact same savers! I tried on that exact same red/green plaid skirt with the straps 2 weeks ago! Super cute but I remember the waist band being made of a cardboard-ish material so I didn't think it would hold up in the washing machine.
Alexa have you seen the VS Pink collab with Frankie’s Bikinis? The Delila Poplin top in the pink gingham is to die for and actually affordable compared to Frankie’s normal pricing! I bought the blue gingham set and the white top. Just thought I’d share because it includes that shearing detail in the back! I think you’ll love🩷 (I know you like to thrift everything though!)
Ahh all the puff sleeves! 😍 I have that black eyelet (new day) puff sleeve in my thredup cart and I’ve been on the fence for the short and wide shape it has. Was it ill fitting?? I was hoping you loved it so I could pull the trigger, but I didn’t see it in your haul. 😅
It’s so fun how well we are able to get to know you through videos! As you’re going through racks, I can pick out what you’re going to be interested in before you grab it, almost every time🤣🤍
Oh wow! Are people over puff sleeves? I'll have to go investigate the thrift stores sooner than i planned! I have found mostly disappointment when I've looked in the past, but its been a while
The two-piece outfit is so cute too bad it's itchy the gray Blazer looks good on you it's a blue gray which I think looks good on you rather than a muddy Gray it's a really good match with your pants there were so many cute tops I wonder why you didn't get any
Somehow I feel you always buy the same things... 😅 It's not supposed to be a critique, just a realisation. 😉 Maybe bc I do thw opposite and try to only buy things I DON'T already have in my closet.
I also don’t like the color grey on me. I have I guess only 1 or 2 pieces and that only for cut and the feel of it. I often see so many grey items which I like the cut or material, but why must they be grey?!😂😂
seriously!!!! it truly made my day 😭 I need to be better at complimenting people as well, I'll say in my head "wow that is a cool outfit", but then am too anxious to say anything!
I don't think its necessarily the purchasing that I love, its the looking and discovering that I enjoy most about these videos
I love the more conscious attitude towards thrifting, it's very refreshing 💝

@@Clovergirl7934lmaooo i put everything in the dryer. Whoops
@@casswashwash1070 Naughty girl lol!
@@casswashwash1070Get yourself a dry rack and use it! I find not drying clothes you care about also prevents them from color fading.
I still like puff sleeves tops as well 🫣🫣 I try to find one every summer I didn't know they were out of style 🤣🤣
7:01 i used to struggle with chest and shoulder/ back acne aswell! Went away when i stopped wearing plasticy tops! Also a basic benozyl 4% bodywash from cerave! Just what worked for me ❤
I’ve been more conscious about natural fibres lately too and happily noticed I already had a lot! But def for summer I need cotton and linen 😮💨
i’m so glad you got the gray blazer it looks so good on you !
The grey blazer looked great! Glad you got it.
I was gonna say that grey blazer looked awesome on you. Pop a bright Color shirt sleeveless turtleneck etc and would look great. Grey is a neutral like black add cute jeans sandals and you will rock it. I’m so glad you bought it
I still love puff sleeves too. It's flattering on me
I love puff sleeve tops! That grey blazer is stunning!
I’m definitely going straight to the dress section next time because i always skip dresses for some reason
The grey blazer is amazing! So glad you finally found the perfect one ❤
I LOVE your darker bangs! Looks so good!
I have that pink dress at 5:44 🩷🌸 its really cute I can't wait to wear it with cowboy boots!
I purged all my SHEIN clothing and want to buy clothing that’s good quality and expensive looking instead of cheaping out. ❤ looking at thrift videos for inspo and stumbled upon yours love it
You should swap the red dress for the navy one. That was cute!
Ahhh loooove that gingham top + necktie on you! Looked perfect on you ❤❤ some happy shopper will pick it up 😊😊

The blazer was the best in whole thrift ❤ I love gray🩶
that black top with the tie and the black skirt were soooo cute
You left the navy dress!!! It was so cute on you.
I actually just thrifted the same exact Starina 90s dress but in a black and pink colorway! Im obsessed
it's great that you're being more mindful about what to purchase💕 the skirt at 21:00 looks cool, i could see people use it for layering bc of the buttons :) and when i saw the grey blazer i immediately thought the fit looked really good on you!! it looks easy to style with lots of outfits too💖
Yes oh my god I always try to wear my unitards thrifting .. make a WORLD of difference
You and Carrie should do a thrifting meet up!! Then we can all shop together and get the input and validation we all need while thrifting haha
i actually like how picky you are with choosing items, I do the same as well. Sometimes I think that maybe I'm being too picky but being concise with what I am looking for in thrifting helps me so much choose among the sea of clothes with actual pieces that I will love.
absolutely in love with this dress 5:35
8:34 I love it and would look so cute with like an over size white button down and some docs! ❤
Gray goes with everything
Grey is such a great color! It's nice to see you warming up to it.
The gray blazer looked good on you. Glad you bought it. 2 piece also, but if uncomfortable, probably good idea not to keep.
I thought that deep green shade looks great on your complexion 🥹 even the fit is perfect
Just a side note - I've heard you mention chest acne a few times in your videos. I use La Roche-Posay Effaclar Foaming Gel Cleanser and have found it really good for face and body acne. Calms everything down quickly.
You have way more willpower than me. Those first two tops you looked at would immediately be in my cart😂
The gray blazer outfit looked beautiful on you and looked so pretty with your face and hair.
The grey jacket ! Good job!
Try frilly gothic under it
OMG i’m so glad you got the blazer!! it looks SO good on you 😍
Love these video keep them coming for sure ❤
I want to add more colors to my style for spring and summer , I also want to dress up more ❤
i always wear a unitard to the thrift and it always saves my life!!
your videos always make me happy ☺️ I spent all day doing homework but to come back to a new vid is so perfect!
I saw a lot of stuff I would have loved to see at my store, that pink floral trixxi dress I would have picked up so quickly!! Trixxi makes dresses mostly formal-ish. They've been around for a while I remember wearing them when I was a teen
My god I am in love with your denim jacket! It’s perfection. What brand is it? Can you do a denim jacket thrift trip? 😊❤
Soooo happy you got the gray blazer!! Looks fantastic 😊
I love your thrifting videos Alexa!
Love the black top that you tried on with the puffy sleeves right after the dark green one, which I really liked to, but that sweater was awesome
Thank you for using a mic!! It makes your videos even better ☺
Is that a frilly scrunchie? It's such a cute look!
Yes! I have the small business linked in my description ❤️❤️
Happy Easter Alexa sunshine 83
That 90s dress looked wonderful on you❤
The dress at around 5:25 is sooo gorgeous omg
the blazer !!!! 😍
Grey blazer looked great on you actually, i think girls with blond hair kinda look amazing and not boring in this color
I would buy something just because it’s silk, i might be obsessed
it's so funny how the ads work, you were just showing the top from massimo (9:50) and an ad for massimo dutti came up! also, love how you analyse the clothes to make sure they're a fit for you and your closet
I actually think the blazer and suit pants being very slightly different enhances the look. It's a good combo.
I'm not a grey girl, but I absolutely love my grey blazer and wear it all the time!
Grey is cool. And soothing. Ya gonna love the blazer Alexa ❤
such a fun thrift! can't wait to see more spring outfits! 💖
I just came to your channel to watch sunday's video and I see this!! How exciting!

Ooh yay! I've been absolutely binging your videos lately the vibe is just so nice 🌸✨️
omg that two piece set is to die for on you, but so not worth it for uncomfortable material!!! such a bummer that it didn't work out
Just remember, if you love it, and the price is right, the tailor is your best friend! I have brought so many things to mine and have a very curated and customized wardrobe.
I LOVEEEEE puff sleeves 💖💖💖💖

That blazer is a great find. I'm still searching as well
I got my fingers crossed for you !!
Aah so many cute dresses and puff sleeve tops 😍
This video is making me want to go thrift again, although I went two weeks ago.
Im surprised you didnt get the black ribbed knit top, it looked fantastic on you!
Alexa! I discovered you only 2 weeks ago & I’m hooked! Reply loving your videos ❤
I’ve been noticing the summers in the past few years have been scorching hot, so I’m also looking for natural fibres and loose fitting, airy clothing

The red plaid two piece... with a vest!

Omg forgive me I somehow missed the try on-watching it now. 😅
You have a modernized 80s aesthetic
Nice finds as always
Ummm you need to go back and get that super cute black floral 90s style dress. It was amazing on you.
I have found mostly disappointment when I've looked in the past, but its been a while
I would say no . I love puff sleeves with a square neckline. The plaid two piece outstanding I love ivt
Passing up the leopard print dvf top is criminal😭
I love this type video
Noo, not the plaid two piece set being too itchy 😭😭 If possible, you could try and wash it with a wool detergent, that can sometimes help!
The two-piece outfit is so cute too bad it's itchy the gray Blazer looks good on you it's a blue gray which I think looks good on you rather than a muddy Gray it's a really good match with your pants there were so many cute tops I wonder why you didn't get any
Where did you get your hair tie/scrunchy!? Soooo cute!
She said that the link to the small shop is in her description.
Lol, i haven't watched you in a while .. but hair color through me off, but voice i got ..
I feel like you should get on the trend and have your colours done by a professional! Would be really interesting
