Great video. No waffle or wasted time, simple & to the point. Only just atarted sim racing so learning at the moment but things like this are fantastic aids for us noobs.
10/10! Fantastic, simple guide... great markers pointed out too! EXCELLENT. Going to practice... and accept that simple because I know where I should brake and should turn-in, does not mean I have the talent nor skill to make it stick - But I do have a lot of fun!! Understanding the where, why and what is bleeding all those "lets just call it time" off my lap-times, goes a long way in eliminating the frustration!
Thank you for the words Coopz. Don't worry, just keep practicing and learning and you gonna improve. I'm sure. It was like that with me, too ✌️. Glad to help you!
Nice tip about second gear in the final turn. I've not been able to decide if second or third was fastest. Second gives more risk of power oversteer if too greedy on the throttle whilst third would push wide.
Great guide Mr. Sousa👍 same as your vid about a good start(remember me? -pack some extra fuel 2-3 l ;) will def. try your setup, i'm able to do low 47's and i already spotted some differences between our setups. I hope brakepads 4 are not that important for your setup,i would never pic them(would just use them to know how outworn brakes feel) i know it doesnt matter in hotlap mode tho cause everything gets reset at start/finish(i use 10min hotstints for setups) anyway a 1.46.8 is an awesome lap, especially in temps above 20 c and a wing at 2 👌 keep up the great work mate!
@Mag haha thank you mate! Yeah, I remember you. Your tip was very helpful, I really didn't know. You are right, the brake config to 4 doesn't make much diference. The most important is bb. I set it because with my wheel, the noises getting Smaller when I passa in the curb. Well, hope you improve your lap, nas if you want a full analyse of a lap comment on my coach video 😉
@@Leosousa1 ohh yeah i see your bb is far more back than mine(56%) May i ask what wheel u use and what u mean by saying takes away the noise by going into curbs? Already subed 🙂👍
@MAG I use g923 and I don't know why, maybe because the balance of the car, with 2 the wheel makes more noise than 4 and how I have a kid of 4 years I don't wanna wake him up with noise hehe. About bb, for Monza you gonna gain time specially in the first corner with more brake power. And another point of bb, it needs to be aligned with your trailbraking style. For me lower values works better because I usually release the brake fast and not much smoothly
@@Leosousa1 thanks for your reply and good explanation 👍 already noticed i had to release the brakes earlier to use the advantage of the bb that far back. It's different but it's starting to click:) at 21 c i was able to do a 47.05 for now and still can improve a bit. will work on trailbraking a bit more with those bb values. Thanks again mate🙂👍
For turns 7, 8, 9 (i somehow forgot the name of those turns i dont know how i forgot it) i brake at the 100m, which is a later braking point and make the corner perfectly, hitting the kerbs but i use the mclaren maybe thats why i brake there not sure if thats faster or not Edit: I also brake at around 90m or 85m at parabolica (the final turn) and too, am able to keep the same line as you but again in the mclaren with a different setup obviously
Thank you mate. I gonna start to training in the rain on the next days. Maybe after that I can go back to make track guides. If you want some personalized help we can make a coach on zolder for $8.
i know this might sound stupid, but how do i ''confirm'' a setup? when i finish or choose a preset there is no ''choose'' button. Is it ato save or is there a hidden button?
Hi Mate, don't worry, if you just click on back button, before to get back to the track your setup gonna be applied to the car. Don't forget to save too, to you use in the future

Hm, really dunno where is the problem, probably style, but for me it does NOT matter about setup cause my time is about 1.52 with this setup, also with the safe one and also with agressive. When trying to be faster I start to make mistakes and usually goes slower. From comments its obvious that more could go around 1.47 but I really dunno where da hell I could cut 5 seconds - dammit!
