really nice track guide and reframed how i thought of some of the corners. Massive improvements in sector 2 and sector 3 was doing low 1:50s, now in mid 1:47s
Same for me, I've reached 1.50 however I can't get beneath. Maybe as a Tip, trail braking and exceleration at the apex are the most important things to know.
Very informative. Thanks! Just a minor bit of feedback. I'd prefer seeing each corner fully from entry to exit first and then have your explanation and comments step by step afterwards. It helps to have the big overall picture of how the corner is gonna be driven, and then dissect it piece by piece.
i rarely subscribe to any channel on youtube but this guide is so well made that you deserve it. Thanks for the guide, i just made 1:46:950 thanks to this video.
Dude! I'm still a newbie, so i still have a lot to learn. But this guide made me cut my time with 1,4 seconds in just the first lap. Managed to get another 0,4 sec in the second lap.
I already did comment before, you do the greatest track guide of Acc. It's really impressive. I need to found 2 seconds to get on 1.45.9 and I know it's possible to do.
I was getting a lot of oversteer in the exit of variante della Roggia and just now thanks to confronting my vod with your guide I noticed that I tend to slam the gas while I should be only coasting on that second sausage. Also in Ascari my speed on the first apex is good but I really mess myself up for the other two turns and need to lift all the way for a moment. And in the end in Parabolica you say: "completely avoid putting your wheels in the kerb"... also me in my fastest lap doing a gutter run from Initial D in that same place \o/ This video was really well put together! Can't wait to apply what I've understood to hopefully breach that 1.47.7 wall :) thank you p.s. just noticed this video was uploaded the same day as my birthday so it must be a sign
Thank you so much for this. Helped me immensely especially at Acari were I knocked off 6 tenths according to track titan telemetry. I got a 1:46.4 and a big part due to this video
Awesome lap and great track guide, thanks a lot! Im revisiting it since im stuck at 1.47.2 and I have decided I have to get down to 1.46 before im happy 😅. I only have about 100 hours in ACC, so I realise I cannot expect to to be done too quickly, but your guide really is valuable (esp since im on Xbox and cannot use varius tools to analyse the laps). Cheers and thanks again!
I watched a few other vids while coming back to sim racing and man they get the points right but glaze over them, but the wya you explained it in depth, I went from 1:51 like warm up pace to 1:49 race pace
i just started sim racing and barely broke the 2 minute mark. already seen what i do wrong, great guide. is there a guide for setups or what was your setup for that lap?
fast to the point track guide. great description of limits and apexes. keep up the great work. i am working on expanding my track use and track limits. this is a great reference for this.
You can do it! Just remember the basics in lapping- maximise the track, get your braking right and keep the minimum speed up through the corners! Best of luck :)
wow thanks for the track guide, specially in acari at the 2 corner, i didnt know i should have the weight to the left, usally just goes very wide, and losing the lap, but i will try that thanks mate :)
No problem! Sometimes you have to rationalise why you do something before it starts to make sense and then you can apply that to the rest of the lap and other tracks, good luck! :)
wow thx for the sharing but how to tune the car ? I cant come to the 280km/h at the striaght before the T1 and cant slow the speed able to turn 1 if i brake at the 150m
No worries! I use a mixture of paid setups, mostly the Go setups, sometimes I buy them from popo to test as well, I believe this one was from popo but with my own tweaks to my driving style as I prefer a bit of understeer
How the hell does your Macca have so much grip when turning and breaking? When I breake and turn slightly, the car does 360. I don't get it. I can't go lower than 1:49,8 with default "aggressive" setup and BB of 50,4%.
So I tend to brake in a straight line and as I begin to turn I start to come off the break. I don't know your circumstances but I would guess that you're holding your break too much so that when you come off it all the weight comes off the rear and you spin around, try getting your braking done before you turn and slowly start to feed the turning back in when you're comfortable. Hope that helps!
@@LukeMorris11 I can trail break quite well I think :) The way you enter the last chicane in 3rd gear is beyond me. My Macca can't eat last sausage curb, always bounces of to shadow realm, even when I load the right side. Generaly your car seems to have loads of grip and rotation, I don't get it.
@@SzwarcuKX5you should look into a proper setup for that car man if you still struggling with it, default aggressive does the job for the most part but it’s pretty standard and makes your life hard on certain tracks Pretty sure a Monza setup for that car is only 5 bucks on Go setups.
Sorry as it was so long ago I won't have the telemetry saved for this lap. In regards to the setup I don't share them because I have to pay for the from hymo/go setups so would recommend giving them a try :)
Thats good having a guide but i actually just quit playing this game as i was building good scores for online racing and ended up loosing most of them because people cant handle being overtaken cleanly and being out braked . And people parking over the middle of the track . Brake checking you . Pit manouvered . The people you race against whilst building up to pro races is the worst ever . The tactics of some of them are just out of order . Then in the chat they blame you for doing better than them . Then cheat to move up place only to be demoted 4 places once all their penalties are added . Most get black flagged but that leaves their friend in who helps out his flagged buddy by crashing into you... Last race i did 3 were black flagged and the guy running in 1st place 28 seconds ahead slowed down only to crash into me and had the cheek to type thats from his friend ... Wow 😮😮😮😮 . Worst part is i beat his friends fair and square no weaving no crashes or nudges . All done on the brakes and an overtake and the last one was a inside line as he overshot the braking area and went very wide and past the rumble strips onto the out of bounds . So i took the inside line and he used me as a tyre wall and brakes as he hit me almost flat out and destroyed both the cars . They are a bunch of idiots and can have their shit game all to themselves . They wont go far doing that and will be stuck in those lobbies until the end of time .

Newbie sim racer here and stuck at 1:55 in my 720S. Best guide I've seen. Gives me hope for knocking off seconds, not just tenths.

Thank you for such kind words, really appreciate you taking the time to comment, congrats on the laptime too!
Great advice on the monza, it's my first drive on ACC SO hopefully I can now get below a 1:56 after your great advice thank you ery much
I have about 300 hours on Monza with the 720S. This is a fantastic guide that made me realize I can improve in a couple of corners still.
Dude! I'm still a newbie, so i still have a lot to learn. But this guide made me cut my time with 1,4 seconds in just the first lap. Managed to get another 0,4 sec in the second lap.

Im glad you now have the confidence to do it, I wish you best of luck with your hunt!
why do i always get launched into outer space through the kerbs in ascari
Possibly suspension being too stiff?
McLaren space program

Amazing work, thank you for the comments!
How have you not got tens of thousands of subs?
Fantastically detailed & informative video.
My pb is 1.47:2xx and this is literally the best guide, now i know where am losing speed and i hope i hit the 46 . Ty very much❤
Thank you! Very kind words, I wish you the best of luck with your hunt for that 46!

I’m currently setting 1:57s… but am new to sim racing. I’ll jump in the McLaren later and see how I fair. If I get in the 1-40s I’ll be happy 😃
You can do it! Just remember the basics in lapping- maximise the track, get your braking right and keep the minimum speed up through the corners! Best of luck :)
just did a 1:46:192 but looking at improving s2 and found this. thanks for the vid
Awesome guide, still struggling on Ascari my M4 bounced as soon as I get to the kerb on the right hander.
Each car behaves a little differently but its definitely worth trying out different lines to see what works for your car
I'm just having my nice Sunday drives with 1:54's haha - I imagine serious racers screaming "Get off the road grandad" ::P
Best Track Guide ever!!! Wow!

That's an awesome trackguide 💪thank you for spending time on teaching os.
No problem at all! Really hope it helps you out!
Best guide I've watched and I've watched a lot, cheers
Thanks for the guide! I really need all the help I can get!
Glad I could help!
Good guide so I'll try to adjust my setup to not die
oh damn, now i know where are my mistakes and why are they :D very helpful track guide
Thank you! ❤️
Thanks to you.
Do you use 2 pedal or 3 pedal?
wow thx for the sharing but how to tune the car ? I cant come to the 280km/h at the striaght before the T1 and cant slow the speed able to turn 1 if i brake at the 150m
Parabéns pelo excelente vídeo! Muito bem explicado! Poderia compartilhar seu setup? Obrigado
Can u do this with the non evo version? Only have basic 720
Thanks for this track guide! Could you share your setup? Thanks

Could you please make the telemetry and setup of this lap available?

Could you pls share where you bought the setup? 🙏🏻
Amazing.. such a helpful vid!
Glad it was helpful!
Great guide. 👍
Well explained!
Thank you! :)
thanks very helpfull
Really glad it helped, thank you for commenting!
what were the setups on the car?
I mostly used Go setups with my own tweaks for driving style
Blimey, I have put hours on this and best I've got is a 1.51. I think I can do a 1.50. I just don't know how you're 5 seconds quicker!
full lap 18:30
anyone have a good set up for this car at monza?
Recommend looking on popometer, or hymo/go
