I'd like to share my GRATITUDE for this amazing recipe!. I am a very UNDOMESTICATED mom of 3. Covid has given me the time to work on these skills. I attempted my first turkey following every step. The process was very easy to follow. A bit messy in preparation, but that's why I like to cook with gloves. The tips were so helpful in browning the turkey. My kids and husband couldn't believe how flavorful and juicy every bite was. Thanksgiving was such a success that my family requested a repeat feast for Christmas. Happy Holidays to all.

So, I made my First turkey this year and after doing some research I ended up back at one of my fav RUclipsrs 😁. Tried this recipe and my turkey was awesome! It wasn't dry, but very juicy! And it looked pretty good too. The only thing I did different was after 3 hours when I took it out of the oven, I put it back in the oven with no foil, took out the juice to make the gravy, and turned the oven up to 400 for the last 45 min.
    Thank you sooooo much!!

Alyssa, the most difficult part might be coordinating all the different dishes, to be done at the same time.
Don't panic...just try to plan your meal, with cooking Tim's for each dish, and remember...you need to let your Turkey 'rest', so you have a little extra lee-time to make your gravy and finish your side dishes. And don't forget the rolls in the oven. Hehehe my mom always did.
My first Thanksgiving meal was stressful, because I panicked...don't let that happen to you. I'm sure your hubby will appreciate your efforts. It doesn't have to be perfect, for hubby to enjoy his meal. Remember....no perfection required! You got this, girl!

I love the turkey and the sweet ham during thanksgiving time
Nobody in my family enjoys cooking for thanksgiving but my mom and I
How I do my turkey is
3sticks of soft room temperature butter
    1 cup of soy sauce
1 cup of organic orange juice
Whisk together the cup of soy sauce and a cup of the organge juice together your gonna inject your turkey all over until it’s almost bruising
Then I will rub the soft butter all around the turkey
    Until it’s coated
Place it in a turkey bag let it marinate for 15mins or you can do it over night! I’m telling you it’s so juicy you won’t need any water!
Love this idea for a turkey aswell I love how everyone makes their turkey different❤️

@@irlTany I tried it and liked the flavor but had to get some sleep before work, my family promised to look after it so I could get some rest, and they totally let it go over and never removed the foil. Essentially neglected to follow the instructions after I left it. So it was pale and over cooked but the stuffing helped. Thank God it was just the trial run.

I actually had made her turkey last year and it was not just Deliciousness galore however my youngest son is not a fan of turkey hasn't been for years because of his Dad he made one once and it came out like a toss between a Spurkey and a Blurkey (basically the looks of a spam burnt on one side and the other side half black and completely burned 😂) but the youngest son couldn't get enough of the turkey that he looked like the size of it by the time we all was done stuffing our bellies and faces, so I gave Steph a shout out on my IG and I do plan on making her recipe again for the turkey and I'm going to also use her recipe for when I make my cornish game hens for the New Year. Looks delicious! I’ll try this recipe next year, God willing I’m here. I use parsley, thyme, poultry, sage, pepper, Adobe, garlic powder, place butter under skin, olive oil for rubbing. Then I sautéed my onions, celery in butter then mix in the Pepperidge farm dressing adding more butter and chicken broth to dressing, I add some cranberries, good! I fill inside of Turkey with1 onion, whole garlic, apple, orange...wrap well with foil, oven bake 3/4 hours. After 3 hours I uncover Turkey to finish cooking which browns the Turkey a lovely golden crisp. I mix and bake my dressing...no stuff Turkey. While Turkey is cooking, I go do something, like I painted my sons bedroom, or rake and mulch leaves or take a hike...never checked Turkey , just let it cook. I make gravy same way you do. Turkey is always tender, juicy and so tasty...family and friends love it!
I have recipes where I use Italian sausage in dressing, yummy! Cooking a Turkey shouldn’t incite fear for its not difficult, just good seasonings.
    Happy Turkey Day✌🏽😍

This year was my first time making a turkey for my family’s Thanksgiving dinner. Being only 22 & not having much experience in cooking had my family questioning lol. Our turkey was 24.5 pounds so I had doubled the ingredients. Not sure if it’s the ranch, mayonnaise or chicken broth bath but this turkey came out so soft & juicy. We’ve never had a turkey this moist before. Definitely using this recipe next year 😋🍽. Thank you for sharing

I made the Ranch dressing yesterday and my 4yr old son helped me, he is in love with it and every 5 mins “I love you Dad, its soooo guuuuuuuod Daddy” 😊
I’m making the Turkey today for my in-laws birthday.

It puts the lotion on the turkey or else it gets the hose again 😂😂

On this past Monday 11/16/20 I made this exact recipe for a friend for work and it was DELICIOUS.... !! They didn't even want to cut it!!! True story! This was an excellent secret to make your turkey moist.
I wonder if you can use the mayo and ranch still with Cajun seasoning??
