I know Martha Stewart may not ever read this but I'd like to thank her and her team for posting these informative videos. I prepared the parchment paper turkey, her method, and it was the best turkey I've ever fixed in 30yrs of cooking Thanksgiving Dinner for my family. It was tender, juicy just as promised. My mom recently was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and I was determined to fix a feast to remember and thanks to Martha, I gave my mom a terrific holiday meal. So, from my house to yours, Thank you Ms Stewart!
I have made my turkey using the cheesecloth method for over 30 years and we’ve never had a dry bird! The only difference is that I add rosemary to the melted butter and then I dunk the cheesecloth in that mixture. The flavors are incredible!!!
I tried the parchment paper method and the turkey turned our WONDERFUL. Thanks for all the different methods @Marthastewart and the way you carefully explain things.
Hey Martha great video thanks for the different ways to cook my turkey. God bless you and your family. We love you Martha TV wouldn't be the same without seeing you cooking especially at the holidays.
I love to brine my turkey when I thaw mine. It makes the thawing process easy and I like that the meat steam cooks under the skin to make it moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. I've definitely got to try the parchment method of baking along with it and see what kind of reactions I receive this Thanksgiving.
Good morning miss Martha you always teach us the best you can give I am happy to learn more from you I am watching from Amelia's Ward linden town Guyana south America love them Will prepare the legs first then the others later thanks will share with my friend and family
I have never made a turkey before but finally decided on this one and it did not disappoint. My turkey came out perfect from the way it looked to the juiciness and the stuffing was delicious as well, my first time with that too. (I did the first turkey in this video)
I do the turkey 101 every year the only thing I do different is I bring it with whole milk instead of water because the milk helps break down the tissues otherwise I follow it step-by-step and it always turns out perfect every year thank you for the cheese cloth tip I really think that makes a difference
Thank you Marta Stewart! You are making my wife SO HAPPY. I cooked the stuffed cabbage and she LOVED it. Tonight I cooked the Braised Turkey Legs and she LOVED it. At this rate, we might just have another baby!!!! LOL.
I most definitely want to try my hand at that turkey roll. It looks the most delicious‼️Everything looks good though I am not a dark meat person😔. Not sure about turkey legs?? You are making me hungry!!! Thank you so much for sharing! You learn something new every day!!
i've never seen martha's parchment method method though i have to say the cheesecloth method made a better-looking bird. i tried the cheesecloth method before and it was a lot of work.
I wish Martha Stewart Living was still on so she can show us how to hatch and raise an organic Turkey from an egg until he is plump and delicious enough for the holiday pan and how to humanely dispatch him and give us inspiration on how to use the beautiful feathers for tasteful and unique autumn decor.
You wouldn’t want to eat it then. When I was a kid, my dad got a young turkey raised for several months for thanksgiving and my siblings and I named him and fed him and when it was time to kill it we had such a fit that my parents had to go buy a turkey and take the other one back to the country.😂

Les sugiero que en un recipiente con mucha pero mucha agua y bastante sal pongan el Pavo a maserar por 24 hrs, desde luego en refrigeración. Lo secan perfectamente y continúan con Martha Stewart. Queda perfecto! Jugoso por días...
Has anyone never use Martha Stewart's brining method and then used the cheesecloth butter method with the bread stuffed inside the bird? Did it turn out well
I'm definitely going to try with a very small turkey that's no more than five to seven pounds with the parchment paper. Seems like a good idea the one thing I don't like is how she always handles raw meat with no gloves on touch other items that cross-contaminating with salmonella can be a nightmare. I think anytime you touch raw meat you should always have on gloves especially if you're going to be recording
YOU'RE WRONG AGAIN! KAREN. IT'S BEEN PROVEN THAT GLOVES ACTUALLY MAKES IT WORST. THEY ARE A MAGNET''" FOR GERMS!! AND SPREAD GERMS FASTER THAN HANDS. PLUS MARTHA WASHERS HER HANDS OFTEN😛😛
It’s hilarious to remember how many home mom suburban cooks just placed the turkey in the oven on 250° and literally cooked it from 10 am-1pm covered. Then cranked up the oven to 400° and finished it off uncovered for another hour. It was a sure way to have it get dry. Why didn’t they just cook it covered for 2.5 hours @ 350° then finished it off uncovered for the usual 30 minutes? Anyone else experience this?

I am a convert of the rolled Turkey breast. We did that for Thanksgiving this year and put it in the smoker. It was amazing.
Wow, fantastic video! I'm excited to try making the roll. 👍

For the first turkey (braised), how would you make gravy from the drippings ?
Hello from LidiaStyle!😍🌷🌸🌹💐
Could we use a baking bag instead of the parchment paper?

Aw! Where are the guest people she brings in sometimes? They are funny!
She made the turkey much differently on South Park

Could one use a brown bag to roast the turkey in as well??? I hear women did that many years ago

Just here to remind you all of the South Park episode
I never stuff my turkey. Just use lemons, onions and herbs. That's it.
I like mine seasoned and stuffed....
Jailbird Martha 😂
Nice✨💖
I AM SO GLAD YOU SET YOUR INTERNAL TEMP AT 165, SO MANY CHEFS/COOKS SET IT AT 180f FOR FEAR OF UNDERDONE BIRDS??!!
I forgot to insert the thermometer and had to take the turkey out and cut the parchment paper to insert it. 🤨
Martha. love your teachig method it would be nice to see you put on some gloves while putting your hands all over the meat. Thanx.
B. !
She needs to buy Bigger plates
Seems like a snooty lady but sure cooks good.
my teacher is a hottie...and a wonderful cook.... lol. Keep up the good work! Actually learn a lot watching the cooking videos
The South Park version is better
She's too old now. She's retired
