"You can make your own; or you can buy it." Classic. I love this lady. I have been following her since her first appearance on the early Oprah show where she placed a doily on top of a cake, dusted it with powder sugar, lifted the doily, and left the design behind. There she discussed the fact that she catered Paul Newman's (amongst others) private parties. Then, I taped a Thanksgiving Pepperidge Farm Special on TV from 1985? (which I still have). I have been making Cranberry Cassis every single year during the holidays ever since. Every time I hear a Bach Brandenburg Concerto (any of the 6), I think of Martha Stewart because one was used in one of her Christmas Special in the 80's...such a classy lady. I told my wife this many years ago, and she said "That figures." LOL!! Regardless of what so many people say about Martha Stewart, she is, and will always be, the best at what she does...which is everything that has to do with crafts and cooking. She is the queen of all of that stuff, whether some like it; or not. It is not just knowing something and demonstrating "stuff." It is doing it with class! That brings something very appealing into the mix.
Martha. I just love you. I remember when you did your annual Thanksgiving and Christmas shows. It was the highlight of my families holiday celebrations. I was mesmerized at the beautiful presentations you made with such care, and have been a fan ever since. You are a great teacher and never disappoint.
Martha makes everything so beautiful in presentation. I wish I had a kitchen like hers. I don’t know if this is a studio or the real thing but it is lovely. I love Martha too, she is so sweet and her voice is wonderful to listen to. She is the total opposite of my mother, my mother always said she was so nervous, mom never enjoyed anything, I never really understood my mom. She didn’t do much cooking. One Christmas we went to her house and she was scooping out store bought potato chip dip out of the carton into a pretty dish and she said next year I have to take more short cuts, I looked at her table serving as her buffet and everything was store bought, she hadn’t even made one thing. Mom never ever enjoyed any get together. It was always miserable for her to have us come over.

Thank you for all your sharing the great one with us, you and your recipes are very much appreciated!!!
What a lovely walk down Memory Lane watching Martha’s first method of Turkey roasting... I used to watch Martha, the very first year her show came out in 1993. I prepared a beautiful Thanksgiving Day turkey for my Son’s Kindergarten Class... Now his son is in Kindergarten this year. Unfortunately, with the pandemic and a “unbelievable” amount of children with “food allergies” it’s no longer allowed!
Yeah, and unfortunately and ironically, the reason food allergies are on the rise is that parents have been avoiding feeding their kids the very foods that have become the culprits they shouldn't be and that prevents the kids from letting their immune systems get used to friendly and HEALTHY substances from nature while they're used to overly processed and artificial ones with loads of sugar.
When my husband graduated UCI I checked out the Martha Stewart DVDs from the Newport Beach library to 'cater' dinner. Everyone was stuffed with treats and we didn't have to reserve a table. I always light a dinner candle to St. Martha. 😇
I'm thankful for Martha . The only Garden book I brought with me when I moved to Mexico was Martha's. I've grown tomatoes peppers corn cucumbers and sunflowers successfully. The book is beautiful and priceless like Martha. I needlepointer a sunflower book cover for front and garden cover with garden angels for back of book. I've been watching Martha since she was married and had a show on giftwrapping. I thought wow that woman's a perfectionist. But it's a good thing. Bless you and yours on this Holiday Season Martha. I love you. Much success love and well wishes. From B. In Mexico
Martha Stewart living was my favorite. My all-time favorite episode was the Santa bread with Michelle Richard. I in the mid to late 90s was going through a major crisis in my life. Martha Stewart every day seemed to calm my nerves and give me a little time to forget about the world. Watching these old episodes is just as refreshing and wonderful. I love you Martha!
My husband always like preparing the turkey using your method Turkey 101 with the cheesecloth soaked in wine and butter. He saved their magazine with your recipe for years, and he always prepared it that way. It was always moist and delicious.
Ms. Stewart I have been watching your shows for years and I must say, you are absolutely fantastic, I have learned so much from watching you, please keep up the great work you do, I pray you and your family and staff have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Dear Martha, I have tried your stuffing and used your turkey basting/baking method for the very first time today. Martha, you are truly the Queen of all time! The turkey and stuffing are magnificent! And it's all thanks to you.

Dear Martha, once a few years ago on TV you did a turkey roast, and the last step was you anointed it with apricot jam.. I hope you will show us this wonderful, delicious way, please.. Thank you 🌹
I have NEVER understood why people like Martha Stewart so much. I never cared to watch her. I'm 41 now and WOW! I GET IT NOW!! 😅😃🤤 She's AMAZING! Gosh, I wish I could go to her Thanksgiving dinner! I'm going to try some of these! They don't seem impossible for me to do and look DELICIOUS!
I make your pumpkin cheesecake every fall, Martha and it is the best cheesecake recipe I've ever had. People just melt whenever they try it. Along with all of your other recipes I've made! Thank you for all the knowledge and the treats, Martha 💜 wishing you a happy Thanksgiving
We did this in the 60's and 70's. Now, just use a turkey bag, turn your turkey upside down, and you will have a tender, work-free turkey. Nuts and fruit is for a cake, I'm afraid, chicken livers and gizzards are the key to the most delectable stuffing you can imagine!
Oh Martha...I have always been afraid to roast a whole turkey but with your teaching and guidance Thanksgiving Dinner will go from "tasty" to "delectable"....love you Martha❤....Thank You💐
Few years ago, I don't know why I spent hours each night watching Martha's old (repeat) cooking & baking TV shows. But I didn't even think of baking any of those. I am not confident at cooking. This video demos and recipes, however, looks so simple! I can't believe when the first Turkey 101 was done, in 7 minutes of demo ! Then the 2nd and 3rd turkey recipes seemed easier ! I guess that's because there is no need to rub in butter under the WHOLE turkey skin (without tearing it ) and that makes the whole deal less intimidating! For once, I am considering to try out one of the turkey recipes which is typically a big project for someone who doesn't cook ! 😅😂
Your first turkey recipe with the cheesecloth reminds me of the (now old) Silver Palate cookbook. It is still the recipe I use today and produces a picture perfect bird, every single time and it good too!
Love this, I played the whole thing while I cooked and then ate my dinner tonight. I learned a few new things, but my favorite was your tip about different styles of meringue and weeping! I had no idea. Thanks Martha
Looks wonderful Martha....What I would give to dine with you!!..We have the normal Thanksgiving dinner with cornbread dressing, sweet potato pies etc, a cake or two and veggies of course....I would give anything to do something different this year, like some of these goodies at my table, but more than anything, just to sit down with family and have a wonderful meal would be a true blessing. My mother is 99 years old this year and been having some health problems, so just to be with her or know that I can make something for her would be wonderful. I'm hoping I can at least make one of these delicious dishes...Thanks so much for sharing these scrumptious recipes with us and I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving. God Bless!!❤
I love her cooking, she does so much research before she demonstrates for us. She is amazing. What a wonderful person she is, I can not say enough about her.OXOXOX
I've always loved Martha and her elegance she brings to any recipe. I suspect that those PERFECT diced veggies, Martha did not do. That's ok, she earned the right to no longer be her own sous chef.

Martha, thank you for everything you share with us! I have always admired you, and wanted you to know that you gave me a lot of confidence in my own abilities, to create a beautiful home for my family, and to make many of the things within these four walls to make this house our home. Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart! Quick question regarding the pumpkin bread...Can i use a different, thick liquid, like maybe a Pumpkin Flavored Coffee Creamer instead of buttermilk? Thank you in advance, and i pray your holidays are filled with family and friends, and much joy and love! God bless! 💖A
Martha.. You are my favorite . Just the way you present your creative recipes is enough to captivate your audience to the point that there aren’t enough days in a year for your viewers to enjoy one meal . I have made her first turkey (cheesecloth one) and first stuffing recipe for two thanksgivings, and both times it came out amazingly and moist and delicious. Only feedback I got was the stuffing could do without the fruit pieces, but that’s probably a matter of personal taste.
Your style and grace are beyond compare! I applaud your desire to share your love for beautiful, warm living. And a delicious diversity of foods🫶💛🌻.. Bravissimo 👏👏👏👏🌹
I love Martha! I Was very interested in the Roasted Rolled Turkey Breast. Never made yet.. however, I want skin on outside only not rolled into the roll as it appears to be in this version. Also, the string tying is easier than what it looks like here...just look for other video’s like on chef jean-Pierre you tube. Give Thanks to all that we are ...one big family!

Your first turkey recipe with the cheesecloth reminds me of the (now old) Silver Palate cookbook. It is still the recipe I use today and produces a picture perfect bird, every single time and it good too!
Turkey looks amazing! For years I make turkey in a different way. I have to try to do it differently :)
I love turkey 101 and stuffing 101. It works every time!!!
Love this, I played the whole thing while I cooked and then ate my dinner tonight. I learned a few new things, but my favorite was your tip about different styles of meringue and weeping! I had no idea. Thanks Martha
Smiles, hello Jenny 🌺 😊
I love Martha! Love the way she explains everything! Her products are great too! I have learned to cook watching her!
I like watching your show very much and enjoying your cooking quietly, it’s really a kind of enjoyment!
I can't wait I consider myself to be a fairly good cook not chef by any means, but I love Martha Stewart and her recipes! 🥧🥧🍝🍝🍳🍳🥐🥐
Me too I have all her videos and books
Martha is an absolute gift, and she has inspired me in doing some stuff on my channel. She's amazing!
YOU ARE UNIQUE
This put me in the holiday spirit!!! Can't wait to get my hands on that bird!!!! Thank you, Martha ❤
thank you very much for putting everyone in the spirit for the holidays! How can you take care of everything, and these helpful videos too?
The cheesecloth covered Turkey is the best I’ve ever had and the family love it!
I’ve learned a GREAT DEAL from Martha thru Decades~ really admire her Journey & her Expertise 🙏❤️
Smiles, same here Vickie, how are you doing? 🌺 😊
Some of my favorite smells. I will never forget the smell of my gmas house when she was roasting goose. Great show.
MARTHA YOU ALWAYS MAKE EVERYONE HUNGER FOR MOTE OF YOUR DELIGHTS. BEAUTIFUL BIRD BEAUTIFUL COOK. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! WISHING YOU AND YOURS HEALTH PEACE AND PROSPERITY.
I love watching you Martha!! Even my children look forward to seeing you cooking for the holidays.
Smiles, hello Rebecca 🌺 😊
Martha, thank you for everything you share with us! I have always admired you, and wanted you to know that you gave me a lot of confidence in my own abilities, to create a beautiful home for my family, and to make many of the things within these four walls to make this house our home. Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart!
Quick question regarding the pumpkin bread...Can i use a different, thick liquid, like maybe a Pumpkin Flavored Coffee Creamer instead of buttermilk? Thank you in advance, and i pray your holidays are filled with family and friends, and much joy and love! God bless! 💖A
Martha knows her shyt!!!!
Martha.. You are my favorite . Just the way you present your creative recipes is enough to captivate your audience to the point that there aren’t enough days in a year for your viewers to enjoy one meal . I’m a newbie at age 87 and I’m a lifetime behind you…. But being a New England er I’m one up on you . It’s my Recipe for Lobster 🦞, Macaroni & 4 cheeses.. living alone however it takes some time to repeat it…but then there’s Venison Backstraps.. ❤️ love your presentations !!
Thank you Martha, for taking the time to show the novices, myself definitely included, how to make a masterpiece Thanksgiving dinner ♥️♥️♥️ I can smell it from here, in Massachusetts
Smiles, hello Sharon 🌺 😊

Hello how are you doing?
Hi Martha, I just got updated in technology from a traction. You popped up. I'm glad because as old as I am, I can still learn new things
That turkey looks yummy. Thank you.
Thank you Miss Martha for sharing !You make everything look so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish I had your tools. I asked for your pots for my Christmas gift this year. I love cooking.
🥰love Ms Martha! And The hair is absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much for this video, I’m always the Turkey cooker in my fam and I wasn’t feeling it this year But your video inspired me in this bleak year of Covid and inflation. I am so greatfull.
Glad to see you on RUclips! I used to watch all of your TV shows! Loved the cooking and craft segments! Always learn a lot from you Martha!
Thank you very much Martha ! Love your beautiful turkey teaching .
I have made her first turkey (cheesecloth one) and first stuffing recipe for two thanksgivings, and both times it came out amazingly and moist and delicious. Only feedback I got was the stuffing could do without the fruit pieces, but that’s probably a matter of personal taste.
We brine ours for 24 hours with her recipe, then roast it with the cheesecloth, soaked in butter and wine.
I love watching Miss Martha Stewart she is the best.👍🏿😊
You are a wonderful inspirer for" cookers" Thank you!
Love her calm demeanor when she cooks
I just love how she cooks. Her and Ida are the best
Her cooking be the best!!!!!!! Love her dearly
Love, love this tutorial. THANK YOU & Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁🍽 💕💜
