the French eat Raw milk cheeses, no sugar bread, (North American bread has a ton of sugar in it by design, even with whole wheat or multi-grains) also the French do not eat a ton of processed food and vegetable oils, the same with butter or meat they are NOT ultra-processed and refined nor have a ton of injected hormones or pesticides, so basically North-American food is plastic and European food is NATURAL. try to find Natural food in North America, without spending 3 times more than what it should be, I Live in Canada and Cheeses made here are 3 to 4 times the prices of European cheeses, in Quebec we produce as good cheeses as in Europe, but the government makes them very expensive and unaffordable, even ultra process OIL CHEES ( IE American cheeses) are very expensive, the same with meat, mind you much better quality than American meat, but again, the government raise the price on all of the good products on purpose, do not try to buy the same type of floor as they have in Europe, they killed it, to make sure to push exclusively the bad full of sugar floor. and then the cooking oils or just the oils, the worst of the worst is available in North America, trying to find good Olive oil or Avocado oils is very hard, or 4 times the price of, in Europe.

Who has time to walk for 30 minutes right after a meal? I eat twice a day. Usually once during work hours and the second time (around 4:30 PM) when I get home. The best thing is to eat healthy or healthier (low carbs, zero sugar added, no ultra-processed foods, limited amount of processed foods, no refined flour products, and no gluten. I do have a weight problem (maybe 4-7 pounds overweight on weekends).

@@kaakrepwhatever True but when I got home gym last October I only had 280lbs on to deadlift my max was over 400 5-10 years ago so started light on 6th or 7th rep I hurt lower back bad took 3 months to recover. You're supposed to brace your core and I didn't and I bent back too much and curved it. But once healed I'm back to doing deadlifts and now doing 300lbs for 10+ reps making sure my lower back is safe and getting stronger.
You have to push yourself! Also know when to take time off and to change up your program. I'm 10lbs away from six pack so now not focusing on strength/size. I can't lift heavy and hard and also diet and lose weight at same time not possible and still workout every other day. Muscles are always sore so changing up going to lift lighter and more sets and reps and let them heal while dieting. Once I lose last 10 or so pounds will lift heavy again and focus on size/strength.
Everybody has to pick their priorities and fix their weaknesses and usually you can do 1 or 2 different things at same time never 3-5 as they contradict.

Thank you for the information and video! Question - How long after a meal is too long before a walk loses benefits. What if I start the walk 10 mins after the meal? 20 mins? 30 mins? 60 mins? When is the drop off after the mean where the benefits are no longer paying dividends?

This is an excellent question. I see no response. Ughh, that's what I dislike when it comes to YT influencers. They have time to make the videos (get the clicks), but no response - they're busy - making more content.
This is particularly problematic when we eat out. Most things are 45-an hour away from us. So, after the meal we are in transport back to where the walk would take place.
I hope you get a response. Thanks for asking this question.

park, then 25 sprints each 100 yards, walk back to starting line. 3,000 steps north , 1,750 strides south. Then repeat late afternoon or evening. So that’s 8,000 steps and 3,500 strides total. Sucks and boring. So far, 2,700/10,000 done. Age 69. Won’t stop. Resting pulse 50-55. Reached high school weight 185 , onto 170s. Livin’ to 100. Will see.

I love walking and being in nature and barefoot grounding it def helps me lose and or maintain… maybe I’m just the odd one in your group lol 😂 But we love sharing your content with the troops !
Changing our routes and terrain is also very rewarding as we love the beaches the mountains and lakes and many places we have been deployed have been some of the most interesting places that our Step squad has been able to tack in our daily walks etc.. and yes love the first light ! Keep slaying it Ben ! ❤ I have never added this for weight loss but more for mental clarity and brain health and the way being outside of all the stress … leaving all of the electronics behind .. and just going out and being intentionally present in nature … the quiet the solitary part of nature… it’s very healing . It’s definitely a great tool for mental health resulting in lower cortisol and overall mood enhancement . Core strength and stamina..I definitely recommend it and feel the mental state that you achieve from all of this alone is worth the walks and the grounding has so very many benefits as well. So … I think esp for older people who aren’t in gyms it is a simple thing to add in. And even w limited time you can still go spend 15 mins outside. And ground even from a chair. 🪑
We’re definitely huge walking fans here… and although the military has us run … the health and wellness groups still love our step squad walks together and alone ! ❤ keep Rocking it ❤
