Hello, Danny, thank you for reviewing the Kashmir, I started going there in 1973, a keema vindaloo with the side salad and three chapatti's and a jug of water only cost £0.30p in those days, damned good value. Extra chapatti's were free of charge, I asked the waiter why they didn't charge for extra chapatti's and he replied that a pound of chapatti flour cost them £0.10p and you can make a lot of chapattis from a pound of flour. The burger shaped thing that you enjoyed so much is a shami kebab, I buy those myself. Have you tried Omar's, they serve the largest Naan bread in Yorkshire, the Notorious Naan is so large that it takes three waiters to carry one to the diners table. Hey hey Danny your in good old bradford. I love going to that curry house it's my favourite. @@paul_raftery well all I can say is I always thought that a curry was made from authentic spices not a jar already made, you know a home made curry, guess that's why mine home made curry's are rubbish then, like I say pataks paste is the way to go now. 😊
A mate of mine used to rave about a curry place where he got a takeaway on his way home from the pub, One night he sneaked a peek in the kitchen and saw they were using Patak's products. He was so disappointed he never went there again 😛
The curries at Kashmir are top notch. The service however is poor. It looks old and need of a bit of renovation inside but it is property authentic pakistani food.
Open since 1950. Always has 5/5 in the hygiene ratings (unlike most of the restaurants and takeaways on Leeds Road). Always tastes better than all of the multi-award winning restaurants in Bradford, which constantly get entered into national competitions, and always win.
@@r4mbo4974jr There's nothing poor about the service at The Kashmir. The decor and cutlery are plain, but you're not eating the decor or the cutlery, you're eating the food. An 8/10 on this channel means it's borderline inedible 😆
Back On the road again!
I always yell this in the car in the third world! where I live, with my passengers , making dumb faces as to what I am yellin bout! 😂😂😂
The mixed grill looked like yesterday's leftovers re-heated.
Yeah I say it was
@@deadpoolkoa7108 I'd say you've never been to The Kashmir.
You can see them prepare and cook everything from the counter where he paid.
I've never seen Asian starters that have been fried in batter before. So, I concur with @telstarfirst comment.
Come up with an idea!? I've wondered why you have done that since the day you got the van.🤷🏼♂️😂
Beginners mistake....only starter to ever order in there is the onion bhajis! Cheap and cheerful and a bit rough round the edges but for cheap half decent curry it's ok. Get yourself to Shimla Spice in Shipley......
You have to come and visit Qchnia Agi Polish deli bar in Bradford, it's spot on ❤
A few of us use to go there nearly every sunday in the mid 80's, it was always spot on 😋
That is one of the best looking naan I have ever seen.
The Karachi in Bradford is also excellent...
I had to rewind that I hope that plates clean he was carrying on top of the naan bread.
As I've said on many comments...
The Kashmir = Always 5/5 in the Hygiene Ratings.
The overrated restaurants and takeaways of Leeds Road, some of which have appeared in music videos = Usually between 0/5 and 3/5 in the Hygiene Ratings.
Cooking is an art and not everyone is gifted with it but everyone has the potential to learn it. I like it ❤ and big thumb 🏡❤🎉
Is that a squashed rat on the drain cover ? just below the red bull can and just up from Danny's water !!
Yeuk!
Ahh I was there, my friend in Bingly took me there (I'm from Wales) lovely food ( thanks Geoff)
i know alot of takeaways, that use frozen food, and add spices to it! and make the curry become amazing.
Under the van Danny good idea. 👍 nice curry 🍛
That table and chair cracks me up every time 😂😂😂😂
That's class that wen u pulled that roof out
Honestly Danny I've lived in Bradford all my life and this may be the oldest but by no means the best. For the best Asian breakfast go to sweet centre on lumb lane and for curry try Shimla Shipley . But for all round amazing food my cafe lahore although Kashmir is known for it's famous dish cooked by that famous chef off the tv Rick stein
When my dad used to take us when we were younger in the 90s it was garden furniture in there lol
Hey hey Danny your in good old bradford. I love going to that curry house it's my favourite. But I'll tell you a secret ( I saw them making their curry's with pataks curry paste) 🙈 I was a little pissed off by then. Still nice authentic taste though.. love your reviews and your little one is your double ❤ wow love love love you and your family ❤
Not a surprise, as according to Patak's Wiki page they supply 75% of the UK Curry houses with sauces and spices.
@@haroonmohammed742 oh well then, I'll be Stocking up on pataks then, might start selling my own curry's 😋😋 💷
A lot of curry houses use partakes paste and add their own spices too. Latiffs inspired RUclips channel is 1 of best and he does sometimes.
@@paul_raftery well all I can say is I always thought that a curry was made from authentic spices not a jar already made, you know a home made curry, guess that's why mine home made
curry's are rubbish then, like I say pataks paste is the way to go now. 😊
A mate of mine used to rave about a curry place where he got a takeaway on his way home from the pub, One night he sneaked a peek in the kitchen and saw they were using Patak's products. He was so disappointed he never went there again 😛
Please please try Jack's snacks in bramley leeds it's a sandwich bar it's beautiful xxx
It’s great food. I tried some curry when I was on holiday this week in Portugal. It was delicious
My Dad was a teacher and taught the children of the owners, when I went back a few years ago one of the lads (now an adult) actually recognised me. 😮
And ?
@@JohnSmith-31He charged him double!
@@JohnSmith-31 And what !
@@ancient1350 no I got it for free 🙂
@@gregorydobson4307 You tell me .
Panic on Danny's face when the water wasn't there. But it did arrive! Love the water and orangina from the Barber's shop over the road!😂
leeds a1/m1 so funny the the road back in the time mods and rockers north bound . late 1970,s i was just a lerner no drive the m1 🤣🤣🤣
The food looks like it was cooked in the 50's
The curries at Kashmir are top notch. The service however is poor. It looks old and need of a bit of renovation inside but it is property authentic pakistani food.
authentic mate, better than all this loaded shite.
What do you know😂😂
Open since 1950.
Food from The Kashmir tastes miles better than any of the nicely decorated restaurants which someone in the city (most likely someone from the council), picks to enter national competitions based on taste, which they nearly always win.
If they entered The Kashmir instead, they'd win every time, not most of the time.

That looks well off the scale good 👍
Ate here a couple of years ago and it was fantastic.
As a bradfordian, where we are weaned from the breast straight to curry, Kashmir, Pind and especially Sultans are in my humble opinion the best curries in Bradford 👍👍
