Being around him years ago, never heard about his struggles. Now I understood, why he liked his waiter? Why he provided me space in every role I played working in his restaurants. Great man .
👏🏽👏🏽
I have seen Shabir uncle welcoming and warm to restaurant customers from all backgrounds. This interview has shed more light. It shows him as humble, but also with great drive, a lot of wisdom, and well spoken. You are a true inspiration 💫
Thank you for taking the time out to watch the podcast and comment. Really appreciate it🙏🏽.
I briefly worked for Mr Shabir as an electrician in his home. He's a nice man and very down to earth
👏🏽👏🏽
The food is top tier ‘perfect’ and affordable, but the humble boss didn’t bother saying, great guy!
The food speaks for itself 👏🏽🙏🏽
I’ve been going to the Akbar restaurant for many years. The food is very unique and in a league of its own you can’t beat the chicken nimbali as a starter i’ve also seen a few of Shabir’s interviews that he’s done with en khans and he’s a very intelligent man and very successful in business and very humble and inspiration to the young children out there in the world wish him the best
Totally agree with you, Thank you for taking the time out to watch and comment your thoughts. Really appreciate it🙏🏽.
Amazing podcast!! What a stand up gentleman. Amazing business mind. The pioneer of the chicken nambali
What an outstanding podcast, really appreciate the exclusives as hearing from such an astute individual has definitely helped me learn a few things from someone of such a high calibre. You can see the genuineness of Shabir and how he was a pioneer in his own right, the attributes he showed throughout his life and journey is something aspiring entrepreneurs can all try to implement. I see hate from trolls on other platforms and it’s mind boggling how people can hate on someone who has nothing to gain from sharing his wisdom and knowledge. Thank you again for the exclusives and do keep these coming 🙌🏼
Thank you Ulmas such a powerful comment, massively respect you taking the time out to watch and comment. Huge respect 👏🏽🙏🏽.
What a well put articulate gentleman I really like how he said how good his childhood was
Thank you for taking the time out to watch and comment 🙏🏽🙏🏽.
Great podcast Shabir bhai, just to add Mr Aslam’s and Mumtaz’s inspiration for their businesses was our original SHABAB restaurant chain which my father Mohammad Tanvir started in Leeds 1976, Huddersfield 1978, flagship £1/2 mil Harrogate 1981, Halifax 1988, Manchester 1992.
In fact Sabir sahib of Aagrah to this day says they could never work out Shabab’s Egon Roney award winning exquisite menu, created by my father and founder Mohammed Tanvir…..
Shabab restaurants were renowned for five star service, cuisine and atmosphere and were so well ahead of the restaurants of that time and even today..!!
Bas kar oi
Mr shabir has Proven that by calling your restaurant a Pakistani cuisine you could also be successful I can remember when he first opened his Akbars restaurant on leeds road and I started advertising his business on a commercial radio station at the time I said to him Today you have one restaurant and insha Allah one day you will hill many restaurants all over the uk 🇬🇧 🇵🇰my Dua will be always be with you brother you are such a humble person
That’s very interesting Javed thank you for sharing those insights and taking the time out to watch and comment 🙏🏽.
Iv met the guy he horrible arrogant stuck up honestly the way he talks to the staff a bully propa bully
@@TheCeoClub it’s all a act my friend I knw him and have worked for him he thinks he’s a bad man 😂
@@Champagnep4kkisorry to hear that you had a bad experience brother but once shabir bhai made me feel very happy and honoured by saying if I can wait 10 minutes while one of my biggest fan who Alhumdulillah liked my Naat shareef and wanted to meet me and I was surprised to see and met his brother kafait bhai who was the fan and for me this was a great respect 🌷
i have heard shabir has stage 4 cancer?
So so glad you’ve removed the alcohol. May Allah SWT give immense barakah to your businesses. Trust in Allah, you don’t need the alcohol
Why would God use the term “rivers of wine” to describe Paradise if alcohol is prohibited for the believers?
@@tatvond its prohibited in this life as it intoxicates. In the hereafter it will not be intoxicating so it will be allowed. It will merely be like grape juice
The food is top tier perfect and affordable but the good boss didn't bother saying, great guy thanks
🤲
He sounds a really nice guy....
Amazing podcast. The way he talks about his competitors with utmost respect, I'd heard about uncle's humility but now u see it for what it is may Allah SWT give him barakah in his business and one day make it fully alcohol free inshallah ❤❤
Thank you brother really appreciate you watching the podcast and taking the time out to comment and Insha’Allah 🙏🏽❤️.
@@TheCeoClub I don't know u bro but u seem like a really good guy keep doing what ur doing mashallah. Would rather listen to a local podcast from a Bradford lad any day ❤️
@@haytchess5017 thank you brother really appreciate it. Bradford gets a lot of hate but we’re just out here trying to change that Insha’Allah and show the amazing people we have here 👏🏽.
@@TheCeoClub I'm from Scotland but now live in Halifax and know a lot of lads and friends from BD3. They've done a lot for me over the years and in my opinion no one else in the UK are like them. Big hearted and down to earth

@@TheCeoClubHello There,
I have been analyzing your RUclips Channel last 3 days. Your RUclips Channel and Video SEO page is down to rank. Do you even know? If it remains like that then your audiences will never find you through RUclips Search. It must be on RUclips First Page!
If you want to do SEO for your every video then you must need some keywords to rank your podcast RUclips Channel . I can do keyword research and proper video and channel Optimizetion for you to rank your channel and your video rank you up. How does that sound?
Both shite
Don't get jealous mate @@baddriving1755
mashaa-allah great podcast
May allah grant him health I’ve heard he’s not well
Shabir seems like such a nice guy. Normally i hate these type of business guys, who are worth nothing and give it loads with the cars, watches, houses etc. However you can genuinely see Shabir is a very good businessman and talks sense.
Fantastic episode. Great questions. You need to try get afzal kahn on an episode, that would be a good one
Thank you for watching and your feedback Yasser really appreciate it. We’re going to try and make that happen 👏🏽🙏🏽.
Bash has put Bradford on the Map 👌
👏🏽👏🏽
Questions you should have asked:
1. Tell us your bad experiences and how you dealt with them as many entrepreneurs tell us the good things but never the bad ones.
2. How do you deal with people who try to con you as surely you must have experienced many of them?
3. Many Asians get jelousy when a relative is successful. How do you deal with such cases?
4. Parenthood advice and tips?
5. Has he considered a Akbar’s in Pakistan?
6. What does he see the purpose of life ?
@MT-zw5kw Your welcome
Thank you for sharing these questions. Will definitely get them in on the part two. If there’s any other questions / topics or anything you feel we should cover please do let me know. I really appreciate your thoughts and taking the time out to comment and share your thoughts 🙏🏽.
@@TheCeoClub Generally on podcasts we see successful ppl only talk about how they got to this position but they rarely tell us of how they overcome or challenged real problems and problem people.. the answer to these questions would be very valued
@@53fczunb thank you I will be sure to take this feedback on board and include more conversations around these in future episodes 🙏🏽
I really hope there is a part 2 to this interview. Shabir uncle is fascinating, inspiring@@TheCeoClub
Selling sharab =no success
No way a guy in the late 80s soent 500k on a restaurant in bradford lol

Great personality and speaker inspiring ..
👏🏽👏🏽
Akbars ceo mumtaz ceo agrah ceo - get them all on one podcast perhaps ?
That would be an epic podcast , definitely going to try and make it happen 👏🏽👏🏽
I’ve heard that who ever sells alcohol and makes money from it then you are away from allah and the deen. But main thing is that it’s entirely up to him. I still respect the bloke for what’s he’s achieved and inshallah may allah give him more.
@@FantaLilt i know him personally and your lies are funny. Its not "washing money" but your brain is probably too small to understand that.
If you ever owned a business or knew how they work you wouldn't run around hating someone's success. Don't claim you do because succesful people don't have hate for others.
Good podcast, host asked some great questions and is well spoken on all podcasts. Keep it up.
