Shabir seems like such a nice guy. Normally i hate these type of business guys, who are worth nothing and give it loads with the cars, watches, houses etc. However you can genuinely see Shabir is a very good businessman and talks sense.
Never met him but dine annually at one of his branches but seeing this and other videos, you can see his personality masallah. Considering his sad passing, so much of this interview is prophetic when he talks about his daughters and about finding faith recently which would have been six months ago perhaps when he might have been diagnosed. May Allah SWT grant him a safe journey to the next life and blessings of sabr to his daughters and family 😢

I’ve been going to the Akbar restaurant for many years. The food is very unique and in a league of its own you can’t beat the chicken nimbali as a starter i’ve also seen a few of Shabir’s interviews that he’s done with en khans and he’s a very intelligent man and very successful in business and very humble and inspiration to the young children out there in the world wish him the best
Great podcast Shabir bhai, just to add Mr Aslam’s and Mumtaz’s inspiration for their businesses was our original SHABAB restaurant chain which my father Mohammad Tanvir started in Leeds 1976, Huddersfield 1978, flagship £1/2 mil Harrogate 1981, Halifax 1988, Manchester 1992. In fact Sabir sahib of Aagrah to this day says they could never work out Shabab’s Egon Roney award winning exquisite menu, created by my father and founder Mohammed Tanvir….. Shabab restaurants were renowned for five star service, cuisine and atmosphere and were so well ahead of the restaurants of that time and even today..!!
