We need independant shops like this back on the high streets of the UK. Look at we have got now. Supermarkets and Greggs. Sad isnt it. Stayed in hotel in Brum Saturday which was supposed to be the Dogs. The food where you are in this video looks better than anything they served.
I'm from Brum and really don't think any hotel here is likely to be good. Only people staying in hotels are passing through for business. A type of place which is always a good shout for food is if you find a pub run by Punjabis. They'll have top tier Currys, tandoori & grilled stuff. Combined with the beer of a pub. Best combo.

The majority of eating out where I live is substandard food at top notch prices but this looks delicious, great value for the money. the mash made my mouth water. It is a good job I don't live near there I would be eating those tarts everyday. :-) great review Danny x

What I hate about the majority of UK supermarkets is their lack of (good) hot food. I've been all over europe, and especially in eastern europe, even the smallest of shops (equivalent to a one-stop shop in the UK, i guess) has hot, home cooked food counters.

Surprised you can find a hotel, that hasn't got illegal immigrants in there. - 8 Million a day, these people are costing us the tax payer.
Instead, we got 25 chicken shops on the same street.
Full meal, drink and a desert for under a tenner is an absolute bargain
No wonder that place has been going for 35 years, that food looked absolutely amazing and such good value for money too.
