Pretty good price. But I always make sure to try any new Greek fish and chip shops as they seem to make the best fish and chips, even though it is a Portuguese invention/Portuguese dish. I do have to have Encona hot sauce with mine, alongside curry sauce and mushy peas. Maybe some tartare sauce too. Gravy I don't really care about too much, more suited to pie and chips really.

Nice to find a place charging honest prices and serving quality food. I remember back in the day, 'scraps' were free, then Edwina Curry stuck her nose in and banned them from being given to customers, instead they're thrown in the trash. As a skint school boy with only 1 shilling and sixpence for a bag of chips per day, free scrapes helped fill my belly.
Wow.... The crunch on that batter was a joyess noise bet that tasted awesome. That sage and mash thing was unique but great idea. The cheese one is a no brainier. And that fish, wow, nice and white, looked fresh and glistening. Good bit of fish were that. And can't fault you with the D&B..... It just has to be..... Oh and finally you are the only other person I have seen salting, vinegararing and then salting again. It is the way forward BUT to ensure a good coating (if you only have chips or a removable item like a sausage) I highly recommend the Salt, close lid, shake, vinegar, close lid, shake and then salt, close lid and shake method. Perfect coating around the whole chip and some salt residue remains at the bottom for that final dip of the chip at the end if needed or a wet finger will surfice should all chips be gone😂😂.
