Thanks for the simple explanation! Whoever did these lights the first time had no clue! Your husband is a lucky man in more ways than one!

Cool. Easy peasy, but If someone doesnt already now, this might confuse them a bit. You should mention which color wire youre tapping into. Saying, "red to middle" is ok, as middle of 3 wires is ..easy. But then you call the others "inside/outside, however, your'e holding the turn signal socket "backwards". (bulb facing back- Opposite its natural mounted position). If someone was marking wires while the socket still mounted, they could have some issues. ;) SHORT version: Red "halo wire" spliced into [whatever color] & green "Halo wire" to [Whatever OTHER color.]
Cool vid though, just tryin to clear it up for folks. 😉 😎👍

Tried side and a middle wire. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. So I decided to tap into all three wires. Middle wire is running lights/white LEDs
Side wire opposite of black wire is the turn signal/amber LEDs on a headlight light.
    Black wire neutral/ground.
    Hope that helps.
    Ps.
Jessica thank you for the video!

This is a great video, but this isn't working. Any suggestions? Turn signals work, running lights work. I have the Halo ring, and the red and green wire, but no worky.
Also: Best tip ever was your way of keeping wire spools from unrolling, I've been trying to think of a good way.
