GUYS THANK YOU!!! . You literally saved me hours of cursing and trying to figure out everything you did in this video for my new halos for my 2003 TJ ... awesome video . Anyone who watched this video did it because they needed help . And you helped in every aspect . So anyone who didnt hit the "like" button . Your just a dick lol ... thanks again gents
Mike Golden Garage thank you feeling the FAST SIMPLE Video... HELPED me A LOT for my 2009 Dodge Nitro. Dodgr Nitro "Grill Removal" Is REQUIRED to Even Remove/Replace LED/Halo Head Lamps. EZ-PZ to "Route Wires" on ALL 2008-2012 Dodge Nitros.
I'm buying the Oracle headlamps without the halo. I just want brighter, farther reaching headlamps as I drive home from work at night on the highway and I don't need all the bells and whistles. Just something that I can see better at night.
So you’re the only video I’ve found helpful, I have a xj and it came with the pos and neg wires as well just not as long do I need to get extensions and hook it up the way you have?
Thank you for asking the question. I just realized I never edited the part two video where I show how to adjust them. Lol. I’ll work on getting that. Idea done this week if it help you
Great video, easy to follow all the way up to the fuse box. Only problem is in my 2006 TJ I don’t have a fuel injector fuse (in that space I have clutch override). I tried the fuse extender in every fuse slot it would fit and either the halos don’t work, or they’re always on. Do you have any suggestions?
Update in case anyone else finds themselves with this issue (is it the right/best answer, who knows, but it works!): ended up attaching an inline 10A fuse, attached a male connector to the end and plugged that into one of my open relay slots that apparently is switched. Tucked everything, including fuse, into an open gap at the end of the fuse box and called it good! Still very much appreciate this video!
@@arieldebin1385 Could you please explain more on this. I have 06 TJ and was planning to do this activity. I have the haadlight withHalo and turn signal lights ready. But not an expert with wiring. Do I have to buy more fuses? What else is needed? Appreciate your details here.
@pavan hegde it is difficult to explain details without being able to use pictures, but I will do my best. If you’re looking to have the halos turn on every time you start your ignition (as Mike does in the video) I would start by wiring them exactly as he does in the video, including using the fuse extender and seeing if any of your mini fuses in the engine fuse box are switched (meaning they only provide power to the halos when the key is turned on, versus always providing power). Your fuse box might look and/or be wired differently than mine, so i think it’s a good place to start. If like me you end up not having any switched mini fuses, you can try my approach. I purchased an inline fuse holder (like these www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081DHT8Y7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and a 10A ATC fuse (the bigger ones like this www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MMH1QW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I followed Mike’s video in connecting the two halos with an extra red wire, then connected one end of the inline fuse to the red wire connecting both halos using heat shrink connectors (just like Mike does with the fuse extender beginning around 10:38 in the video) and attached the other end to a male spade connector (like these, but the larger yellow size from wirefy www.amazon.com/150-Wirefy-Male-Spade-Connectors/dp/B07QF1DXHY/ref=sr_1_3?crid=3V2ZUDEBBY23Z&dchild=1&keywords=wirefy+male+spade+connector&qid=1632960200&sprefix=Male+connector+wirefy%2Caps%2C163&sr=8-3). This male spade connector I then plugged into one of the openings on the far right of my fuse box, where the large black relays are plugged in (this is what my fuse box looks like, I plugged the spade into one of the openings in the bottom right corner, www.bonanza.com/listings/2006-06-Jeep-WRANGLER-3-8L-Engine-BAY-FUSE-RELAY-Box/768969641?goog_pla=1&gpid=341761184097&keyword=&goog_pla=1&pos=&ad_type=pla&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5MjVzrGl8wIViv_ICh2-swpMEAQYBCABEgJt7_D_BwE). The bottom right option ended up being switched for me so now my halos turn on with the engine, then it’s just a matter of finding a way to tuck all of the wires and the inline fuse out of the way (make sure you give yourself plenty of extra wire to work with). I hope this is helpful!
I've got the same lights.. and tapped the halos into the parking/blinkers. The halos blink with the blinkers but don't come on with the parking lights.. any thoughts?
If you want the Halo on only when the headlights are on, then sure wire it to the low beam. I have it wired to the ignition, so when the engine is on, the halos are on
my high beams are up in the trees, but my low are right where they need to be, never get people flashing at me, I did the tape on the wall trick and I beleave it was 25 foot back to aim them
@@SwordInc iam not sure of the name brand, I realy dont care about the high beams the low gives me all the light I need, I will be hooking my halo lights up to be daytime running lights
Dont know if you guys gives a shit but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all of the new series on InstaFlixxer. Been binge watching with my gf for the last couple of days :)
Nice video, but bad advice. You definitely should not be wiring anything into the power for your fuel injectors, fused or not. Also, why are you using a 0 gauge power wire to your winch? way overkill and looks kinda goofy with a huge power wire running through your grill
I just watched your video hoping to learn how to wire my halo lights but you skip the part I need to know which is how you connect the red and black wires! ! ! ! 😡😡😡
Wow - TERRIBLE WIRE ROUTING. You've placed single-wall (hot) wires through small openings with sharp edges. Engine and road vibration will easily cut through the insulliation shorting them out and creating a total mess. NOT GOOD. Better is to use nylon spacing clips.
Flexible feeding tubes would have been ideal for your cables nice and neat very tidy heat resistant easy to hide out of site cable ties for fixing .👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

That’s a great choice! The led headlights are way way better than the halogen
Only 9 more dollars for the halo.... be dumb not to get it

Did you remove the "acces.2 10A fuse" for better fitment..???
No, the adaptor fit just right
So does fuse tapping into the fuel injectors not cause the fuel injectors to work weaker? Im sure it wouldn't just my OCD wondering haha
Still haven't had any issues. My understanding is the same amount of electricity would flow through, as there is a separate fuse added.
What kind of wire can I use as an extension. Does it need to be a specific gauge or will any low voltage stereo wire work
How are your lights holding up in 2021. Do you have problems with condensation in the lights?
So far so good! No issues as of yet

Are the halo supposed to be on the daylight wire or the main nite wires?
Isn't it one and the same? I might not understand what you mean.

No, the high beam shoots upward

Ok, sounds good
Did the red wiring you connected them with come with the kit?
Any of the wire that was loose did not come with the headlight kit. Just get some extra wire from a local shop
Is it possible to dim the Halo headlights?
No
