Quick question. You have a list of the other items? Saw the extra fuse, upgrades wire, the upgrades connectors, the wire wrap. Trying to do this for my daughters jeep and wanted to follow the set up to the T. You all did it right 👍🏼
Thanks for the great video. We did an install on our 2013 Jeep wrangler and we seem to have a problem with the Jeep recognizing the new led light on the right signal. It thinks it is out so it works intermittently. Any suggestions? Maybe due to low voltage demand from the new LED?
In the video we explain how we wired everything up. The halos would need to be wired to a switched circuit that comes on when you turn the Jeep on and it is running.
I tried yesterday to do it. The wire gives out constant 13.3V when on and it will not light up the halos. When i turn the parking lights, the other wire give out 12v and it does turn in the halos.
Personally, for me, having new lights that have parts of them that need to be run to the fuse box is stupid. Then you have a bunch of wires all over the place. I'd prefer just plug n play.
This is not a new Jeep or even close to 70k. This is a JK and is at the newest 5 years old. I do agree though that the fenders in the JKs were not great
Seriously one of the best install videos I've seen with a very professional end result. Under the hood, it looks factory. Well done!
Thanks we try.
Yall make a really great video.Easy to follow, understand, and very detailed. Thanks so much.
Thank you for watching our Jeep lighting upgrade video that shows you how to upgrade the headlights on your Jeep Wrangler JK.
Thanks for the in-depth video! 👊🏼👊🏼

Thanks for watching!
I'm a bit confused. The video is awesome though. Will this install make my jeep have drl when i didn't before?
If you purchased the lights with the halo lights this is how we wired them in.

I would disconnect to to see if the problem goes away. Is it an LED bulb in the turn signal? or the halo turn signal acting up?
doing mods for my mother, can I also change the fog light (orange light under headlignt) to a white cover and bulb instead of the ugly orange?

I never see this much attention to detail and explanation on these sorts of videos. You guys knocked it out the pahk. Subscribed and Liked
Glad you liked it!
Great video! Looking for advice on what fuse to connect to in fuse box? Thanks!
This video will show you where we used the fuse tap. Hope this helps you out.
Big thanks!!

Can the blubs be replaced on these headlights?
I am pretty sure that they can not be replaced. Thank you for checking out our video.
Followed this video step by step, passenger headlight DRL is amber when the turn signal bulb is plugged in and white when it is taken out?
It sounds like that circuit may be reversed. Amber should only illuminate with the turn signal activated.
@@HomeownerRepair what can I do to fix it?
I just wired up some fog lights on my JK but only the lights work. How do I make the DRL halo work?
In the video we explain how we wired everything up. The halos would need to be wired to a switched circuit that comes on when you turn the Jeep on and it is running.
I have the same lights and I also had to file my tabs to make it fit
Yeah...I am not that impressed by them, they are okay.
I tried yesterday to do it. The wire gives out constant 13.3V when on and it will not light up the halos. When i turn the parking lights, the other wire give out 12v and it does turn in the halos.
You may have to try another spot in the fuse panel. They location shown in the video worked on our Jeep.
Can I connect both drl wires to one fuse instead of two?
Haven't tried it. You might be able to
Where can I contact this guy to install mine for me? I see a NH plate there and I’m close. I don’t want to deal with running this to the fuse box.
Hi James Steve and I just fix our own cars for the most part. Hope this video helps you out it's pretty easy.
A loom is a machine that makes fabric.
It's called wire wrap.
In these parts its a loom...lol
What if I don't have the red clips?
Someone might have been in there before and removed them or there may be a different style clip that secures the two plug ends in place.
Oh lord if the video is 30 minutes it’s going to take me 3-5 business days lol
lol.. Set aside a couple hours for this one.
i connected my lights up, i can’t get the halo to glow
Did you test the circuit to make sure there is power going to the headlights?

Thanks for watching our Jeep Wrangler headlight upgrade video.
